Hotels.comin asiakkaan arvostelu marras 7, 2012Olimme liikkeellä autolla, joten majoituimme pienen matkan päässä Atlantic Cityn keskustasta. Autoilevalle yhteydet olivat hyvät, parkkitilaakin oli vaikka muille jakaa. Huone oli erittäin siisti ja kaikki tarpeelliset mukavuudet löytyivät (tv, jääkaappi, mikroaaltouuni ym.). Aamiainen oli melko monipuolinen ja palvelu pelasi hyvin. Erityismaininnan hotelli saa omasta hiekkarannasta, joka oli suoraan hotellin takana. Kaikin puolin suositeltava hotelli. Erinomainen hintalaatusuhde.

On the plus side: We really liked the hotel's retro style deco in the rooms and lobby. The rooms seems to have been renovated rather recently and felt very clean and fresh. The hotel is right on the beach and boardwalk so excellent in placement . But the musty smell on the fifth floor and old really old furniture left a sour taste in our mouths. Very outdated,found blood on pillows that had been washed instead of being thrown out. I don't know who rated that hotel as a 4star, it's more like a 2star and yes I stayed in the LUX,not the annex. "Great for a quick getaway"
We loved the stay at this hotel... But the only bad thing was that everything was closed soo early so we missed out on the spa credit. Check in is at 4pm and the Spa closes at 3! So I don't understand that. Another bad thing was the pool after the staff was able to get us inside the area was a little dirty I am hoping because it was a Sunday maybe they […] didn't get around to it. My stay was great, didn't have any problems. But if you are asking on points to improve, I wanna say where are the toothbrushes/toothpaste.?I came to the casino thinking even in the cheapest of hotels they will provide the most basic of toiletries for a one night stay. For the price that I was paying, I was very shocked to find that I had neither the […] toothbrush or paste. needless to say i went to bed and checked out without brushing. And not that I was going to tap into the minibar and concession at all, I just noticed the chapstick they provided, Blistex looked almost used. I hardly ever do these reviews, However, the room was filthy & smelly- reeked of cigaretts. It was just a weekend trip so we didn't want to hastle the front desk staff since she was a bit aggitated already when I questioned the increase in the price of the room from what we originally booked. "Not the Best Time at the Chelsea"
The valet was very kind and welcoming. Upon arriving at the check-in counter it was found out that the reservation was booked twice, although I had a receipt confirming one room. It took about 10 minutes but it was able to be resolved. We asked for a late checkout, we were informed that in order to get late checkout you must call down the morning you […] are leaving around 10:30am (checkout is 11).We got to our room and as soon as we stepped off of the elevator we were met with the smell of cigarettes and loud music. We entered our room which smelled like cigarettes.We went down to the front desk and moved rooms. The bathroom walls were stained and not the cleanliness. One bonus was that there was an in room safe. The water pressure is TERRIBLE! I've stayed at Harrah's, Borgata and never had an issue. When we went to take a sleep, one side of the bed was broken. After already having to move once we didn't want to have to do that again. We informed the front desk people when we left and they didn't have a response. We asked if we could get out car to put our things in and come back later. The front desk told us to leave it with the bellhop since once we pulled our car down with the valet we couldn't put it back up. He then informed us it would be another 10 minutes before he could help us and that the bags can stay until 1pm. Pros: nice-looking room and bathroom, a little larger than standard hotel rooms, nice hotel, right next to the Tropicana. The stay at this hotel was wonderful! Lets start with the food at the restaurant. Clean place, quick delivery, and tasty food! The breakfast at least ( i didnt try anything else). I always stay in the casinos when I go to Atlantic City. I decided to give "The Chelsea" a chance after reading decent reviews and hearing a couple of friends talk about it. We haven't stayed anywhere else in AC but we were told Chelsea is better than anything else in the vicinity (with the exception of the amazing Revel. I've visited a friends room there and it was magnificent). But since we wanted to go to Boogie Nights, we stayed at the Chelsea which is very old. "Great hotel near the Tropicana"
I was looking for a reasonably priced place along the boardwalk to meet my friends in Atlantic City and had heard of The Chelsea. I also went for it because it's style caught my eye. The hotel was actually on par with Atlantic City's better casinos in terms of cleanliness, room quality, and service. However, our stay there was ruined by the fact that the heat in our room was not working at all. Unfortunatly, upon arrival we dropped our bags off in the room, turned up the heat, and left for dinner. Upon returning (at 1 am) we realized […] the heat did not work and adjusted the thermostat once more hoping it was only our mistake that caused the room to remain freezing. at about 3am we called the front desk but got no answer. put on a few more layers and went back to bed, too exaughsted to deal with a room change by this point. ashame because the rest of our visit was rather pleasantly suprising with the chelsea LisätietojaAito Hotels.comin asiakkaan arvostelu

The hotel staff was very nice, but thehotel is is need of major renovations. All the seams in the wallpaper were peeling. the tables/chairs were scuffed and damaged. There was no water pressure in the shower and the shower fixtures were not attached to the wall.
