Denny's across the street had excellent food and service; better than Denny's restaurant where we live. Nice location near airport and service to JAX cruise ports. When we made the reservation by telephone we told them we would have a 30 lb dog; but we were not charged until we were leaving.
My wife was not pleased at the bedroom sheets, they were not very clean. Also the sheets to the pull out sofa were not clean. It looked like they were just rolled up and put back in the sofa from the last customers. This was not good because the hotel Mgr. said that he had complaints about housekeeping all night. I called down to front desk for attention to internet issues. No one ever answered even after 4 tries. Gave up, no internet. Hot breakfast, yep, when it comes out of the microwave.
"Country Inn Westside/Commonweath Jacksonville"
Have stayed there before. This time was at Christmas but the staff didn't let down over the holiday. Coffee in the lobby was hot and sometimes there were cookies at the desk. Breakfast was perfect and ready on time. Nice hotel. Great service. We had a broken shower and they took care of it right away. Good breakfast.

I have stayed for 3 nights. The room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was excellent. I enjoyed my stay at Country Inn Suites, Jacksonville.

My husband selected this hotel to spend a few days for our anniversary. We were very pleased with the location, the courtesy of staff, and the cleanliness of the hotel. It was about 15 mins from downtown and 10 mins from Orange Park. The hotel is completely smoke free which was great being we both are non smokers. Breakfast was available every morning. We loved our stay at Country Inn & Suites. The room was very nice and clean and we enjoyed the free breakfast with a nice atmosphere.

I recently stayed at this hotel for six days. The main factors that sold me on booking this hotel were the free high speed wired and wireless internet, in room microwave and refrigerator, and a fitness center. Once staying there I found that the staff was friendly and helpful and they offered probably the best free breakfast of any hotel I have ever […] stayed. The hotel is new and very clean. If I had one complaint about the hotel itself it would be that the bed was a little harder than I am accustomed. The hotel is in an industrial area, but very convenient to I-295, I-10 and I-95 and there are several restaurants within a short drive. "Little hard to find but excellent Hotel"
This hotel is off the interstate and behind the "other" new hotel in the area. Check-in was crazy because hotel was booked up with several buses and 1 check in clerk. But she did an excellent handling everyone. Our a/c and refrigerator in our room did not work when we got there so we let the clerk know. She "reset" both items and the a/c froze us out […] of the room and the frig. got VERY cold. I will be staying at this hotel again. "Great Hotel"
Hotel room was very clean -- better than my initial expectations. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Staci. Wasn't as close to downtown Jax as I was hoping, but not bad.
"Big room, convenient location"
The hotel is close to the Amtrak station in Jacksonville and my room, not a suite, was big and well furnished. The desk staff was very helpful and arranged a reliable cab for an early am pickup at the hotel.
