"Very satisfied customer"
Very spacious and comfortable. Yes, front desk forgot my wake up call (it was a back up to my iphone alarm, so no trouble there, but still!). And the nearby passing train caused me to wake up in the middle of the night (it did not wake up my roommate), but evenso, I slept very well and really enjoyed my 2-night stay here. "Nice Stay"
We needed a place for a couple of nights while we were moving our son to Alexandria. This was a great choice. Very clean and comfortable and we will stay here again when we go to visit.
"lack of staffing/quality"
When we arrived our TV wasn't working properly...a staff person came up pretty quickly & fixed the problem. She also recommended a great restaurant to us (Anchor's) in a town in which one many think there were no good places to eat. On the flip side, I spoke with a staff person who assisted me in opening a door and she said that her hours had been "barely […] 20" for the past 2 weeks and now they were super busy. This was very obvious when later in the evening I called down to the front desk (took 2 phone calls & several rings for someone to actually answer)-to ask for assistance is quieting down a guests children who were running the halls by our room at 10 pm. @ night. The staff said they'd come up to check on it...but this didnt' happen. My husband then, too matters into his own hands, & spoke to the kids in the end, bringing attention to the parents of these kids as well. The breakfast served the next morning was nice...except for the fact that the quantity was lacking-it was obvious that the morning staff hadn't realized or been told that there were at least 3 little league teams in the hotel as well as other family/guests. "Incredible Staff"
We were extremely impressed with everyone we came in contact with. We stayed on our way to New Orleans and arrived very late. The desk clerk was so friendly and even brought my kids fresh cookies. This hotel receives a "thumbs up" from my family!

Hotel was very nice. Only drawback were the trains traveling behind the hotel.

Our room was not cleaned while we were there. I was told that rooms would not be cleaned unless I personally gave the maids permission since they had had problems with items missing in rooms. We did not only ask that our room be cleaned but asked the maids to wait 30 minutes while we finished dressing at 10 am. We did get fresh towels at the end of […] the day by calling the front desk but not the bar of soap we requested. Our friends' rooms were cleaned without request. We left our hotel room before 11 am that morning with the cleaning crew across from our room. It was an awful experience overall. They also told us that we had already paid on hotels.com and there was nothing they could do about the fact that we had no soap to bathe with on Saturday night and Sunday morning. Lisätietoja
"Comfort Suites - Ha ha ha!!"
Very poor value for the highest priced hotel in the area. Much better choices next door with much better value. Greeting staff was very beligerent by stating I was lucky to stay at such a fine hotel and I shouldn't complain about the price compared to other hotels in the same location. Value for this hotel is less than the cheapest in that area.
"Comfort Suites Alexandria - Great for stop over"
Very clean large room had 2 queens, couch and seating area, large work desk, and good size bathroom with plenty of clean, quality towels. Mattresses were in very good condition. Extremely convienient to I-49 and airport. Other than Cracker Barrel and McDonalds no other restaurants close, but better and more restaurants are quick to get to at the next […] exit south on the interstate. "Comfort Suites Alexandria, LA"
We were very pleased with this hotel. It was clean, roomy and had a nice, modern decor. The room was very spacious. The breakfast was not bad either. This hotel was several miles out of town, but it was nice enough that we did not mind. It is located right off I-49.

Rude, inattentive staff. Lady at front desk rolled her eyes when my baby started crying.

We enjoyed our stay at The Comfort Suites in Alexandria. Everything was well maintained and clean. We enjoyed the free continental breakfast the next morning. There was a varity of choices. We will stay there again if and when we visit again.

"Comfy"
I had asked for a honeymoon suite and was promised a jacuzzi tub. The bathtub was smaller than the one I have at home and they don't have smoking rooms therefore, candles were not allowed...this put a damper on the "honeymoon" romantic experience....other than those issues the hotel was very clean and the staff friendly. "Room was cold all night"
Hotel had the typical through-the-wall heat pumps, but they are controlled by a small thermostat on a far wall. We only found the small sign to this effect (under the heavy drapes) after unsuccessfully trying to control the system from its local controls. Room was large, clean, well appointed for the price. Wasn't as close to our place of business, but that wasn't the fault of the hotel.

The hotel staff and room were fine, and the hotel's location is very convenient to the traveler on I49. However, the lack of any good restaurants in the area, or indeed within a five mile radius, makes dining in the evening a significant problem. this was the second time i stayed in this hotel while visiting Alexandria and both times was wonderful. the only complaint i have was that we tried to call the local chinese restaurant for order out and could never get through. it kept asking us for a promo code.

"Not near the other hotels"
Many of the hotels in Alexandria cluster along MacArthur, but this one is a bit off the beaten path, and not yet on my GPS system. The hotel itself was fine, but it wasn't in the best part of town, and there were no nearby places to eat except a Cracker Barrel and a BBQ stand in a gas station.

"great breakfast, nice people, not so nice pool"
The pool and pool deck are very small. The water temp was way too hot to even go in.
