Hotel is very blue and green and quite hip in its own beachy way. Comfortable bed and great shower. The place downstairs for meals and a drink is quite slow and overpriced, but there is an awesome Greek restaurant across the street

Amen to hotels that advertise "free internet" and actually have it available in the rooms. This hotel was very clean and next door to the account I was visiting. I would stay here again.

Nice hotel, great staff, but can be hard to find on one way street.

We stayed in the "Presidential Suite" for 3 nights. It wasn't really what we expected. There was only one bathroom, and everyone had to go thru the bedroom to get to it. The shower was very weird...it was glass enclosed, but open on one side, so that when you took a shower, the floor got FLOODED. Also, the mattress on the fold out couch was terrible...hard […] and lumpy. They brought us a replacement mattress but it wasn't much better. Also, we had to beg for towels everyday. This obviously used to be some other hotel and was crudely transformed into the Indigo. Poor workmanship in everything from the bathroom shower to the flooring. The non HD TV was listed as having HBO and other premium channels, but in fact did not have anything other than basic cable channels. They offer free wi-fi, but the signal was so weak (both […] in the room and even the lobby area) that it was not usable. I like the overall vibe of the hotel. It's more casual a place than it appears on the pictures online. I read other reviews for this hotel that mentioned room cleanliness, but I thought these were isolated incidents and decided to give the place a chance for an overnight stay that we had planned. We were a bit grossed out that the tile floor of the […] oversized stand up shower, which consisted of mini tiles that were about a square inch each, had grout lines between the tiles that were very dirty, to the point that we laid down a towel when showering to avoid stepping directly on them. Instead of being white, the grout lines were brownish tan. I've never experienced a hotel bathtub/ shower that dirty before. We have the same shower floor at home and it has never gotten that dirty. Just to make sure that it was in fact dirty (and not dark colored grout) I was able to scrub a small area of the grout clean. Also, we called ahead to let the hotel know that we would be checking in around 6pm and were assured that it was okay. But when we got to the room, instead of the king bed room that I booked, there were 2 full size beds. We called downstairs but were told that ours was the only room left. My wife and I returned to Hotel Indigo in celebration of a recent important happening. It had been one of our post-wedding stops, and we loved it nearly 3 months ago, so we decided it was time to return and enjoy again. This time, however, we were a little disappointed. The kitchen staff was not nearly as friendly or accommodating; the food was not […] as delicious; the drinks were not nearly as strong--which made it more difficult this time to accept the fact that they're overpriced. Then to top it off, the fire alarm sounded at 3:00am! While frantically getting dressed t o rush out, we decided to first try calling the front desk. In the midst of this, the alarm stopped and after about 10 minutes of trying, the front desk clerk answered and reported, "You know how you signed that form saying you wouldn't smoke in your room? Well someone was smoking in their room." I accepted this answer just long enough to hang up, then the question hit me. If you want the front desk to be alerted that someone is smoking in their room, why not have an alarm sound JUST AT THE FRONT DESK, not throughout the entire hotel like there's an actual fire??? Or at the very least let that no smoking clause include a warning that smoking in the room will sound such an alarm. Otherwise people assume it's just a policy and no one will actually know. I'm not blaming the hotel for the guest's violation of the policy. But I am blaming the hotel for making all hotel guests suffer for one guest's indiscretion. Either way, Hotel Indigo holds fond memories and this will not keep us away. It's still a quaint little boutique hotel with a different feel from the usual cookie cutter chains. Lisätietoja

Great hotel in a great neighborhood. A little hard to get into if you get lost, though.

This hotel was a great place for a one night getaway ~ close to shopping and restaurants. Only one negative ~ the major party next door that lasted until morning! Otherwise, its cleaniness and fundecor was a nice change from the usual!

This is a beautiful hotel with bright colors and murals...the rooms are a little tight and did not have comfortable seating...the bathroom and shower are spacious...the lobby area is welcoming and comfortable. Hotel staff at front desk were not the friendliest - they acted a little bored. The bartender was great! Rooms and lobby were super cute and everything was very clean and nice except the shower floor. Will definitely recommend to others.

Centrally located for my business meetings, close enough to Galleria for my wife to walk, she spent more shopping than we did on the room.

Loved the nicely designed room, very comfortable, could use some block out curtains, but that was the only down side. The hotel was fresh and attractive. It was a good value and we felt special. The mat sin the workout room were a plus for stretching!

This Hotel is a great example on how customer service makes an incredible difference ! You can stay at many other Hotels in the Galleria area but having employees that go beyond the call of duty and actually volunteer to take care of situations before asking for help makes this place special. Mechelle at the bar was incredibly helpful in providing information at what to do in Houston. and what our many dining options might include. She recommended a Restaurant (SOMA) that made a special night with my girlfriend into an unforgettable once in a lifetime experience. I will be seeking other Indigo Hotels in my travels from now on ! I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Indigo. We went there for my sister's birthday weekend and it is just the cutest artsy hotel. It has a nice nautical feel all throughout and the wood floors and mural on the wall was a refreshing change from the normal drab carpets and paintings you seen in most hotels. the shower was really cool too. The people at […] the from desk were very helpful too. The only thing I have to complain about was that we had a difficulty with the a/c unit. It would either be really cold or really warm and we couldn't really find a happy medium. Overall, I loved my stay at the hotel and would definitely come back and recommend this to other people. Clean, nicely decorated, huge bathrooms, comfortable beds and friendly staff!

Hotel Indigo is a must-stop-in for anyone who would like a change from the usual oak and straight-lacing of most chain hotels. You will immediately notice that this place is different when you enter the lobby and see the two-seater lounge chairs and the seaside colour scheme. Nice cheerful clean hotel and reasonable for a three stars hotel in a very good location.

GREAT HOTEL! It was CLEAN and QUAINT! I was pleasantly surprised!!! The decor is cute & inviting. The staff was very friendly. I'd definitely stay here again. I only had two small issues. #1: The bathroom was practically SPOTLESS! (Very cute) However, they shower floor tile could've been replaced. I'm pretty sure they cleaned it. But, I'm a germaphobe. […] The tile grout looked a little funky. #2: There was no microwave in the rooms. So, you had to run down to the main lobby, give your food to the agent and wait for she/ he to warm it up for you. I thought that was a bit crazy & inconvenient. Hotel indigo was by far one of the best decorated hotels I have ever been to. Color scheme was beautiful. Wide halls. Hotel even smelled good! Highly recommend.

It was a cute themed hotel in a great location. I wish I had shower shoes for the shower, but otherwise it was clean. Grout cleaner people! The bed was a bit lumpy, but mostly comfortable. The only real complaint was the air conditioner was so loud when it turned on that it woke me up every time. Bring ear plugs.

This hotel us very nice. We had a bachlor party in one of the suites. I highly recommend that you get the presidential suite. Had plenty of room for the guest and all of the entertainment (strippers). My only complaint that my room was took one hour to be ready for checkin. Very clean refreshing little hotel. The wife and I stayed 2 nights with our 2 dogs. The staff could not have been better. This is where we will be staying from now on while on the west side of Houston.

Stayed there for one night to shop at the Galeria. The hotel was beautiful inside and extremely clean. For the price you get a lot for your money! I was very satisfied with my stay here. We did a late check-in and the staff was great.

We took our 15-yr old daughter and a friend of hers' to Houston for a concert and booked two rooms at Hotel Indigo for one night. Upon arriving we were told the rooms were on different floors. Without even asking the desk clerk quickly fixed that by not only getting both of the rooms on the same floor but also by getting them right by each other! So […] was our experience the the entire staff at The Hotel Indigo, totally attentive and responsive the guests. The decor was so pleasant, the blue hues and all the nifty designs, quite nice compared to the "cookie cutter" hotel chains. The cleanliness of the whole hotel was top notch, as was the location, 18-minutes to The House of Blues downtown for the girls' concert and right next to The Galleria for their shopping excursion. Front decks was hit and miss. Some of the front desk staff madestaff made you feel like you were imposing on them. The rooms were clean and spacious the restaurant and bar were fabulous espesially the staff. Big, high dollar hotels might do well to take notice.

The hotel itself is fine (weird, but fine). The staff was excellent, but the beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. It's a bit like the hotel designers never stayed the night.

My husband, son and I took a little staycation recently and I choose the hotel Indigo due to the pictures of the beautiful bright rooms. The Rooms are a little small and the website said they had roll away beds for my son. However when we got there the manager in a almost condescending tone told me no extra beds were ever provided at the Indigo. In […] spite of a rude manager the rooms were clean and bright and gave the allusion of a beautiful bedroom over a standard hotel room. We really enjoyed the staff especially at the restaurant/bar.

I booked this hotel because of the convenience to the Galleria and restaurants, however, it is not what it used to be 4 years ago when it opened. At check in, the staff wasn't too friendly and weren't very open to conversations with their guests. Once I got into the room, I noticed scuff marks on the floors and the stand up shower looked dirty and not […] well kept. The a/c unit on the window was VERY loud and kept us up all night. The room was excellent, comfortable, bright and definitely cheery! We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to all of my friends!!

The hotel Indigo was nice, but I prefer to stay in the Embassy Suites around the corner. It's almost the same price and I like it better.
