Hotelli oli lähellä lentokenttää (Pudong). Hotellista oli ilmainen shuttle bus -kuljetus puolen tunnin välein lentokentälle, mikä oli aivan erinomainen asia. Ensimmäinen lähtö oli jo klo 5.30 aamulla. Huone oli erittäin siisti ja riittävän tilava. Hotellin ympäristössä ei ole mitään nähtävää, joten jos haluaa ostoksille tai ravintoloihin ym., on mentävä […] joko Pudongin kentälle tai sitten metrolla keskustaan. Perfectly adequate for an overnight stay after flying in and before flying out of Shanghai the next day, but not much more than that. Rooms dingy, and whole hotel had a dated feel. Only the coffee shop/bar open for a late dinner and there is nothing nearby. People were nice. This hotel was portrayed as a 4 star hotel and the pictures looked nice. But in the end it is worse than a motel 6. Service when you arrive at the run down shady hotel was poor. The door man just sat there to watch you lug your bags in. Second there is wifi but only in restaurant and not in rooms as I was told. In the room is a LAN and NO WIFI! Room […] was gross and carpet was old and very dirty. All the furniture is 20 years old and the AC rattled and banged all night. The food in the restaurant was served on metal prison trays and I could not identify one item so I took a cab 30 min downtown to get a decent meal. breakfast was unidentifiable and I eat half a banana and motor oil which was supposed to be coffee... We really enjoyed our stay at SAT. The hotel has an airport shuttle that was easy to find and highly accessible (departs to and from the airport every 1/2 hr). The hotel is modern - feels safe and everything was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was always someone at the desk who spoke English. We only stayed one night (convenience to […] airport) but had a great night sleep because of the comfortable beds, pillows, etc. The breakfast was a wonderful surprise. Something for everyone - simply a massive selection of pretty decent food. No problem storing the bags for a later departure while we took the subway into Shanghai and explored. This hotel is not faraway from airport and it is also not expensive. But the a´lacarte restaurant is too expensive for the quality. Nearby there are no other restaurants. Room was clean and the breakfast was ok. The flying planes make lot of noice. But for one night for travellers it is ok.

This hotel is not expensive, but the eating by a´la carte is too expensive for the quality. The transport to airport was free and also the breakfast was well. Our room was not very warm, and the airplanes made lot of noice. But if you stay only for one night for waiting your flight, it is ok.

This was okay from the pick-up end but getting back to the airport the next morning was very ordinary. Driver nowhere to be seen so great mob boarded bus in the least orderly way possible - huge suitcases scattered everywhere, people standing in the stair well and general mayhem. Whether there was a misunderstanding or not I don't know because the driver and I didn't speak the same language. We were forced out of the bus at Terminal 2 when I had indicated we departed from Terminal 1 through signs and gestures. Being ejected from the bus I can just understand but the ranting and screaming that followed was inexcusable and will certainly see me never using this hotel again despite it's convenient position. Having read bad reviews we expected the worst. The room was nice, we got free breakfast and did not have to pay a deposit. Check in and out was easy and it was an 8 minute shuttle bus to terminal 1 and then it carried on to terminal 2. Left every half an hour.

close to Pudong Airport with a free shuttle generally going half hourly. Condition of hotel was excellent, Breakfast and dinner were great. The former was a buffet charged with the room, the latter a la carte featuring such dishes as donkey and camels hump (along with lots of other more conventional dishes) Cost was very reasonable, quality excellent […] and service enthusiastic. We spent the day between two nights getting the Maglev train / Metro into the Bund, to get there we caught the shuttle bus to the airport and then on the trains - the Maglev was worth every cent of the premium price ços you don't travel at 431and km/hr every day. Going back to the hotel simply reversed the train trips caught the shuttle from the airport again. Dinner in the previously described resto on the first floor. It looked like a run down hotel this time. I had a better room last time - I am not sure it looks like it is dependened from the floor to floor.

the hotel is not suitable for a foreigner....its only good for the chinese. no english speaking staff....seems its lobby has not been renovated since it opened..... i wud suggest staying at the Ramada instead.

This place is about a 3 min. free shuttle bus ride to the airport. Other then that it's not so good. The place is extremely out of date. As you step out of the elevators you are welcomed to carpet from the 80's with plenty of stains guiding you to your room. The hotel is nice and close to the airport by the carpet in the room was very dirty and the bath was very small and had curtains so the water was runnning onto the floor.

Staff were friendly. Near to airport, about 6-8 mins drive. Comes with free breakfast which is good and it was alright. Would recommend.

Very convenient to airport and subway, very attentive staff, EXCELLENT breakfast...wish there was more in the neighborhood to walk to (shops, restaurants etc) as there was nothing in walking distance otherwise EVERYTHING else was EXCELLENT....will definitely stay there again when in Shanghai.

There is only one complaint I had during our stay. I asked for a queen size bed for our room when i made the reservation, we got two single beds. We asked to change to a room with a queen size bed and they told us they can not change. There was no explanation why.

Very convenient location for overnight stay to catch plane the following day. Shuttle service very convenient too.

This hotel was clean and lively. It was great for our overnight layover in Shanghai. It had a nice breakfast buffet, and the free shuttle to the terminal was a great advantage. I had booked this hotel room for 1 night stay before I return to Singapore on next morning flight. The good thing about this hotel is that it is near the airport and it provides free transport to and from the hotel to airport every half an hour from 5.30am to 1.30am. When I checked into the hotel, the process is quick and simple (less than 5 minutes). […] The room I stayed in was also clean and comfortable. However, when I travel to Shanghai city, the travel may not be cheap/ convenient because I need to take the hotel's bus to airport, then change to maglev/mrt to reach the city. Also, when I checked out from the hotel on the next morning, the checkout speed is much slower (about 15 minutes). and caused me to miss the bus and need to wait for the next bus. The delay is questionable but according to the counter staff, the pc was having problem. Finally, I would recommend this hotel for people who want quick access to airport, but not for people to want to go sight seeing at Shanghai city. Close to airport, only 8 minutes away by shuttle, which is provided for free. Nice value for the money; large buffet breakfast in the morning. Staff was very helpful, although English is very limited. A good option if you need to stay near the airport for a next-day turn around flight. Otherwise, not much point in choosing this location. the Chinese restaurant on 3d floor is good and cheap.

Although the hotel is near the airport that is about its only benefit. Our room's lock's didn't work, some of the wall plugs didn't work. The staff insisted that we take a private car anywhere instead of a taxi. In fact, we saw them bribe a taxi to not drive us. The customer service was just god awful. Stay away from this hotel at all costs.

Nice people, the lobby of course looks really great. The carpeting in the rooms looks like it is seldom vacuumed. Showers only in the room I was in & the one they changed me from. The 1st one smelled bad & I requested a change, which there wasn't a problem at that point. I had an overnight layover a Pudong and htis hotel was perfect! Free shuttle bus leaves every 30 min and is right outside the terminal. Excellent service, clean rooms and a fantastic breakfast included! Not a great place if you want to visit shang hai but for anyone that just needs to be close to the airport this is ideal!

No taxi driver knows where this hotel is located. This website said there was no shuttle service, which is wrong! My room was not very clean. It was very loud until late at night. The only upside is proximity to the airport. I would not stay here again. This is not a 4 star hotel as stated. I definitely overpaid!

Very close to airport. A free shuttle bus is available every 30 minutes. Nice and clean rooms. Friendly hotel staff. Because the hotel is located close to airport the taxi ride costs only 50 yuan, or approximately 8 USD which is rather cheap. The only problem I noticed was the malfunctioning teapot in my room.

We stayed in this hotel for one night before our early morning flight to Europe. We didnt want to have to commute in the morning. The room was sufficient and has all th mod cons you need, the hotel offers a free shuttle bus to the airport every 30 minutes which made getting there easy.

I primarily stayed at this hotel for a layover. I do not believe they had a non-smoking room in the hotel. So, expect the room to have a faint smoking odor. There is a shuttle that will take you from the Airport to the hotel which runs every 1/2 hr. Location is: Terminal 1, first floor, door 12. There is free internet in the room, but no WiFi signal. Location is near, but difficult to find, especially during the night, service is not so good, as no one come and help us to pick up our luggage when we arrived. Room is fine
