The hotel was fabulous. Big and spacious, clean and refreshing. It makes you feel as if you are on vacation. It's around all the marvolous stores there are to shop at. All the eating places you want to eat at is just a hop, jump, skip away. Next to San Antonio where you can go to Fiesta Texas or do the River. Austin is just around the corner ,too. Close […] to colleges like TEXAS STATE, HUSTON TILLOTSON, AND UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS. Don't let me forget about the free full breakfast, made to order and the free cocktal drinks after 5. Clean rooms, excellent full breakfast buffet.

The hotel is quite attractive and is in a good location when visitng San Marcos. I was a little surprised by some minor maintenance issues for such a new hotel. Two maintenance workers came (barged) into our room unannounced to replace a bedspread. They obviously didn't realize the room was occupied. Nonetheless, it's a poor practice not to knock. Our […] room's view was that of the roof and its associated mechanical rooms, so we were disappointed. The room was quiet, however. Very good experience.

Everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Also the staff was super nice and the food delicious.

My only regret is that we stayed here to attend a wedding, and much of our time was spent at the wedding venue. This place was BEAUTIFUL, and gave EXCELLENT SERVICE. Wish I had spent even more time there!

The reason we stayed here was for my son's gymnastics meet and this was the "preferred hotel". Everything was clean and comfortable, the San Marcos Outlets just next door, but other than that there is no much around, the hotel is located right on I-35 so there is nothing at a walking distance. We will stay here when we go to San Marcos again. Everything was very nice.

If there is an Embassy Suites, I'm checking in. We had guests visit us and they were impressed. Great for families and girl's weekend. We were four ladies to a room and were very comfortable. Love having the suite.

We just wanted to get out of town for the Labor Day weekend, but did not have time to drive far. Though we live in San Antonio, San Marcos was "away" for us for 3 days. The hotel was beautiful, our room was awesome,the beds comfortable, the pool very inviting (w/ towels provided!) and a good breakfast buffet. Beautiful hotel, great breakfast buffet. My only complaint was that the air conditioning didn't work well. It was running when we arrived, and was set on 65, but never got below 75. This was during Texas' 100+ degree temperature heat wave, but I still think a hotel of that size could have a better cooling system, especially after the sun went down.

I have stayed at several hotels and I have to say this hotel had the best service. They have a nice bar and the hotel is very clean. The breakfast was one of the very best bar none and it is absolutely FREE. Only downside we saw was smoking is permitted on the 2nd floor and we were up on the 4th and we could smell it all the way up there and our child […] is allergic to it. Lisätietoja

Great room and wonderful staff.

The hotel was very clean, love that they have free happy hour from 5:30 to 7:30 and the breakfast next morning is a nice way to start out the day. Also love that they have a microwave and fridge in the rooms, beds were very comfortable and I like the smell of the lotion they leave in the restroom. I love Embassy Suites!

My family and I had a nice visit, the staff was very welcoming and had gifts for my children upon arrival. Great breakfast and happy hour. My one complaint is that no one came to service our room. We were out of our room from 9am-3pm and when we returned our room had not been cleaned. Great hotel, great breakfast!

It was okay but not nearly as nice as other Embassy Suites I've stayed at. I think some things seem like they need maintenance; the soap dish in the bathtub fell off the shower wall; there was some loose wire in the hot tub that I got my foot caught in-seemed dangerous; most of the pool lounge chairs have broken or nearly broken seats. They didn't have […] enough bartenders working the evening snack/drinks and there is a really long line to get a drink. We finally gave up. Breakfast was pretty good-we got an omelette which was very good and the line moved quickly. Their omelette crew is top notch. The scrambled eggs at the buffet was not very good at all; the kids refused to eat them. Service was friendly and helpful. They brought extra blankets and towels quickly when we called for them. This hotel has everything expected from an Embassy Suites...free happy hour, a great outdoor pool and hot tub and complimentary breakfast. The hotel is great for kids, but I wouldn't recommend it if you are looking for a couple's get away. Awesome and very clean, quiet

We enjoy staying at the Embassy in San Marcos. The Hotel is consistent, the staff is friendly and the rooms are always clean. It's worth the extra $$ if you're a breakfast eater because it's got the best complimentary breakfast around; fruit, biscuits and gravy, made-to-order omelets. Also, there's a complimentary happy hour. The hotel has a very nice […] bar/lobby area for relaxing and just hanging out. Best place to stay in San Marcos. Great location near outlet malls. Very nice hotel for the price. We will stay there again. The free breakfast buffet was great too!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was a mini family vacation over a 3 day weekend. The hotel was clean, staff were great, restaurant food delicious, pool was nice. Overall a great experience. They even offered a shuttle to and from the outlets. So convenient.

This was a great hotel, had plenty of room, wireless internet throughout. Very comfortable. We were there attending my daughter's graduation at Texas State University. The only issue I had was the gathering of people in and around the pool on Friday night, they partied until after midnight. I was on the 5th floor, so it was loud enough for us to hear […] it all the way up there. I'm not opposed to people having a good time, just glad it wasn't a work night. Hotel was ouitstanding in every way but 1. Food was outstanding, staff was wonderful, room was perfect. Hot tub was green. For 2 days. I will definately stay here next time though.

Excellent hotel with the exception of the nightly rate. I felt it was too high.

Very nice hotel!! It is new and everything was just great! The front desk folks were very nice. The hotel was quiet, very clean, and I will be staying there again!
