Hotelli oli kaikin puolin tasokas, henkilökunta ystävällinen ja aamiainen ihana.Kahdesta asiasta haluaisin vähän prunata. Miksi ihmeessä tuon tason hotellissa suihkutilan ja wc:n ovi on lähes läpinäkyvää lasia eikä ovilukkoa ollenkaan vaan tyyppi saluunanovi. Kaikki äänet ja muut kuuluvat suoraan honeeseen. Toinen asia on, että miksi kysyttiin kun varasin netin kautta huoneen ( ja varasin todella ajoissa) että onko minulla ertyistoivomuksia huoneen sijainnista jolloin vastasin että mielellään näkymä kanavalle eikä ensimmäisessä kerroksessa. Kerros oli tosin neljäs, mutta näkymä oli noin kahden metrin päässä oleva tiiliseinä. Taivasta näkyi kun oikein kurkotti. Mutta kiitos, olimme muuten kaikin puolin tyytyväisiä..

Hotelli hyvätasoinen mutta ei ihan sykkeissä, kuitenkin raitsikat kulkee kätevästi jos osaa ja ymmärtää niitä käyttää.

Koko henkilöstö oli erittäin ystävällinen ja palveluhenkinen. Hotellin sijainti on erinomainen. Kanavien aluella on helppo kulkea kävellen.Hotellin konsepti on ainutlaatuinen: ilmainen minibaari ja aulassa ilmaiset napostelut ja viinit, oluet ja terävät.Laadukas aamiainen.Respasta voi ostaa esim. metro- ja ratikkaliput.Ihana sadesuihku.Huone siivottiin hyvin.Olimme hotellissa 3 vuorokautta huhtikuun 2012 lopulla.Olimme erittäin tyytyväisä sekä hotellin että sen henkilöstöön

"Great choice for budget travellers"
Given the high prices i Amsterdam this hotel is a good alternative for budget travellers. The hotel is situated in close to the city center within walking distance from all the main attractions. There is also a stop for the hop-on hop-off ferry a stones throw from the hotel, which was of great avail for us during the trip. The best thing with the hotel […] is the personnel. From start to finish the staff gave us great tips about anything from eating to tram lines. They truly seemed to be dedicated to what they were doing (which unfortunately can't be said about all hotels) and they all spoke fluent english. The breakfast at the hotel was very good too, considering the overall price of the room. Served in a relaxed manner the breakfast gave a good start to the day. The downside of the hotel was the size of the rooms. Although clean and newly renovated, the small double-room was a bit too small for us - this despite whery light packing. "Small rooms but lovely staff"
This hotel has a very nice reception area and lounge area but when you get into your room it is very small. We upgraded from the standard room which was a basement room and were told we would get a bigger room. The room was still tiny. You could just walk around the bed. It was clean however. But dark. Not good lighting. The staff however make up for […] the room. They were very helpful and let us use the phone and minded our bags while we found where we were going after checking out. This location was quite convenient to both central Amsterdam and the RAI as the #4 train passes directly in front of the hotel. I walked down town one night which was a bit of a haul but there are tons of interesting communities in the area. As for the hotel, the pictures on their web site tell the story well. My only complaint is with the soap and […] shampoo in the room. We Americans have certain expectations which are not often met in europe when it comes to these things. I would bring my own next time. Also be careful of the stairs in the back building, they are very narrow and steep making carrying my luggage upstairs a challenge. I am glad I only had one bag. Good: nice public area decor, good breakfast Bad: the small double room was very small. There was bare exposed concrete and the decor wasn't great. The TV was mounted at such an angle that you didnt get a clear picture sitting in bed. There was a lot of noise at night from the elevator next to my room (6). I wouldnt stay here again

The hotel was good looking and well placed. The rooms we got felt like we were in a dungeon!! There was a very small window and we were down in the basement!! When the window was opened,we would get some moths flying in. Thank god we were here for only one night .

This hotel was fabulous. Very easy from central station with the hotel right at a tram stop. free hot drinks throughout the entire stay and beautiful hotel staff. You can hire bikes from the hotel and its a great location. The rooms are certainly small which i read about in the other reviews but the bed is like a cloud and its clean and modern. "Value for Money"
Hotel V is a very friendly hotel. It's wonderfully funky and retro. The staff are wonderful and it's location is about as good as it gets in Amsterdam. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I look forward to my next stay.

"Hotel Fredreiksplein - lovely staff, bizarre rooms"
Rarely are hotel staff as lovely and attentive as this. The bar and reception are great and breakfast was very good. Unfortunately, the rooms are not up to standard - bizarre colour schemes - siver and black! Also the bed was very small and uncomfortable. A great shame as location and staff great.

The hotel is in a nice central location, the lobby is bright and welcoming. The check-in staff are friendly and helpful. If you pay a little more you can have the breakfast buffet which is a continental style and quite fresh. Our room was very small, barely enough room to walk around the bed. It was clean though, and that matters more to me than size. […] Overall, if you are visiting Amsterdam in order to see the sights, this is a good hotel for value, cleanliness and location. "Too noisy to sleep"
The hotel design was fresh and contemporary, the staff friendly, the food pleasant. Unfortunately the noise from trams directly outside made sleep impossible. The trams run til after midnight, and start very early, so there are only a few hours of quiet. Helt ok hotel. Hyggelig lobby, med stor sofa og pejs. Det kunne være et stort plus hvis man kunne spise på hotellet om aftenen. Deres internet forbindelse er rigtig dårlig. Jeg blev nødt til at fange signal fra caféen overfor. Men generelt er det et fint hotel.

Ihr müsst unbedingt ein grosses Zimmer buchen! Das kleinste Zimmer ist ein Verlies im untergeschoss mit einem kleinen Fenster! Ansonsten ein super Hotel! Nicht sehr zentral, jedoch gut mit dem ÖV erreichbar! (in wenigen minuten)

Fantatiskt fint hotell, god frukost och trevlig personal. Kartan man får när man checkar in är oumbärlig om man aldrig varit i Amsterdam tidigare! Väldigt fräscha rum, om än vääääldigt små. Detta hotell kan jag verkligen rekommendera!

"Ganz ok"
Insgesamt war das Hotel eine gute Entscheidung. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Souterrain, das nett gestaltet, doch wirklich sehr sehr winzig war. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ausreichend, mehr aber auch nicht. Preis-Leistung stimmt m.E. nicht ganz überein. Das Frühstücksbuffet war dagegen umfangreich und lecker.

Boa localização e excelente café da manhã. O único ponto negativo foi o tamanho do quarto, pois reservei o "large room" e quando cheguei me assustei com o espaço pequeno (não cabiam 2 malas)... Dirigi-me à recepção e o problema foi solucionado, pois existiam 4 tipos de planta do quarto grande, assim providenciaram a mudança para outro quarto, que apesar […] de um pouco maior não merecia o títulode "large room". "God seng og hyggelig personale..."
Hyggelig personale, hjelpsomme og blide. Veldig god seng.Mye uro - når en hadde vinduet oppe om natta. Det måtte vi - for det var ikke aircondition der. Godt plassert i forhold til buss, trikk og kanalbåtene. Mange koselige spisesteder i nærheten.

Zentral gelegen. Sehr gute Straßenbahn Verbindung ! Sehr freundliches und vorallem geduldiges Personal. Kleine Zimmer wie überall in Amsterdam, dafür sehr sauber und ein tolles Bad. Wer ein größeres Zimmer benötigt sollte ins Hilton einige Kilometer vor der Stadt gehen. Man weiß es,dass die Zimmer im allgemeinen klein sind. Wir hatten ein Kellerzimmer […] zugewiesen bekommen und waren diesbezüglich sehr skeptisch. Es genügte jedoch vollkommen unseren ansprüchen, zumal man in Amsterdam selbst bei Regenwetter viel unternehmen kann. Das Frühstück wäre mit "sehr gut" untertrieben, denn es war "ausgezeichnet". Das Buffet hat für jeden Geschmack etwas parat und ist nicht nur geschmacklich ausgezeichnet, sondern auch optisch mit liebe angerichtet. Das Hotel besitzt zwar kein eigenes Restaurant, das Personal an der Rezeption weist einem aber darauf hin, dass sich kaum 2 Minuten eine Geschäftsstraße mit vielen Lokalen befindet. "fed hotel med fed inretning"
vi er rigtig glade for vores tur til amsterdam og ikke minst vores ophold på hotel v:-) vi fik først et kælderværelse... lidt småt, men det virkede som det skulle. vi byttede det så efter to dage til et nummeret større, med udsigt for kun 20 euro ekstre pr. nat. lækker morgenmad og kaffe hele dagen ;-) alt i alt en go oplevelse...

Personalen mycket vänlig, receptionisterna hade ett gott minne. De kunde genast ge rumsnyckeln utan att nämna nummer. Fritt kaffe, te eller kakao efter frukost till midnatt. Frukostbuffe med kallskuret. Brödsortimentet bra. Vårt rum var i minsta laget men vi kom inte till Amsterdam för att vistas på hotellet. En bra startpunkt att undersöka staden. […] Spårvagnshållplats direkt utanför hotellet. Deras rutter gick till alla 4 vädersträck. Det var bara att välja vilken del av staden skulle upptäckas! Lisätietoja

"Fint hotel - tæt på det hele"
fint standard hotel til et par overnatninger, hvor hotellet alligevel ikke er det vigtigste. Morgenmaden var ikke prangende. God service.
"Bra hotel, men lite rom."
Veldig moderne og stilig hotell. Rommet vi sov på, som var den billigste varianten, var i overkant lite, men så skal man ikke tilbringe så mye tid på rommet når an er i en av Europas koseligste og turistvennlige storbyer. Likevel er det litt slitsomt å flytte koffertene sine fra gulvet til sengen hver gang man skal åpne døren. Rommene i den dyrere klassen […] så mye større ut, så anbefaler å leie et av dem hvis man bor der i flere dager. Veldig vennlig ansatte og frokosten som var veldig godt ga oss en flott start på dagen. Hotellet ligger ca. 20-30 minutters gange fra sentralstasjonen, noe som kan føre til mye gåing, men gjør også at man blir mye mer kjent med byen hvis man går nye ruter til hotellet hver gang man skal tilbake til rommet. Hvis ikke så går det også å låne sykler fra hotellet. Å sykle er en veldig bra måte å få sett den store byen på, spesielt med alle sykkelstiene og det faktum at både biler og gående har vikeplikt for syklene. Lisätietoja

På mange måder et skønt hotel. Sporvognen kører fra Banegården og holder lige ude foran hotellet der ligger i et stille kvarter. Lobby og lounge i lækkert design, morgenmad m tilstrækkeligt udvalg og rimelig betjening. Upåklagelig wifi og 2 mac`s i reception t fri afbenyttelse. Selve værelset var meget meget småt, men fint nok, badeværelset småt men […] ok. Madrasserne ok, men desværre dobbeltdyne - jeg foretrækker 2 x enkelt dyne. Prisen er vist gennemsnitligt. "Hotel V i Amsterdam"
Prisvärt hotell, med mycket trevlig personal och bra frukost. Väldigt bra beläget! Hotellet har en riktigt bra lista med restauranger som de rekommenderar (ägarna själva har betygsatt). Man måste dock se till att inte få rummen i källaren då dem är utan fönster. Att sådana rum finns är inte beskrivit någonstans.
"Billig og hyggelig"
Jeg lærte at Souterrain betyr kjeller/under jorda. Noe vi ikke var forberedt på. Heller ikke forberedt på at rommet vårt lå tvers over gangen for felles-toalettene for hotellets frokost-/middags- og bargjester. Kjempegod seng, støvete og skittent bad. Mye som satt fast i sokkene fra gulvet som jeg ikke turete se hva var. Utrolig hyggelig service. Alle […] var veldig interesserte, smilende og det var god stemning unntatt en kveld hvor det var en særdeles sur kveldsvakt bak baren. God avstand fra "turistløypa" og rett ovenfor t-banestoppet Fredriksplein med trikk til Jordaan, togstasjonen og mye annet gøy. Også rett i nærheten av minibank og den koselige puben/kroa Cafe Kale, hvor det også fantes VELDIG hyggelig personell og veldig rimelige priser. Mye lokalbefolkning i tillegg. 5 minutter til nærmeste supermarked. Anbefales, men få et rom over bakken. Lisätietoja
