very nice place ,wonderful variety for breakfast.more than we were expecting for the money :)

Had to stay here the night before wife was to have surgery. People at motel made us feel like we was at home.

Rooms were clean and quiet. Service was great. Breakfast was great. Can't ask for anything else.

This hotel is outside of town a good ways. It is difficult to access, and almost impossible to get back on the road due to an extremely dangerous intersection as you leave the street the hotel is on. The room they assigned to me was a handicap accessible room. (I am not handicapped) There was no spout in the tub, only a shower head. There was lots […] of room in the bathroom, but the commode was the taller handicapped version. The carpet was incredibly dirty. If you walked from the bed to the bathroom in your bare feet they would be covered with dirt and sand. The room is overpriced for the location, but is an adequate room otherwise. I have stayed in many hotels, including HI's but this is by far the best mid-level hotel I've ever seen. The room was immaculate and the beds were so comfortable. The pool was clean and the deck was spotless. The lobby was shining and breakfast was better than what we would have gotten at Cracker Barrell down the road. The morning we left, there was […] a large church group enjoying breakfast but at no time was the area messy or was there a lack of food, coffee, fruit, etc. The attendant was so kind and thoughtful! The only negative was the heating/cooling system too noisy and hard to regulate; best solution was to turn the whole thing off. also, hard to find the hotel if you don't know the area well. the drive from the airport was so confusing (not the fault of the hotel) but two of us both got lost, despite directions. We were on our way from DFW to NOLA and this was a good stopping point for us. Staff very friendly. Hotel clean. I've slept on better beds, but have been on much worse as well. Only complaint was AC system - worked fine but was noisey when it kicked on. Was impressed with quietness of the rooms. There was a baby in the next room that was crying at 5:00am. […] I was up and had to stop and really listen to see if it was in the next room or farther away. Would stay here again in a hearbeat. Located directly off I-49 and next to Cracker Barrell. Hotel is very clean. Staff were excellent. Breakfast area was well kept. Would highly recommend if passing thru Alexandria.

Very nice. Lovely, large room and furnishings. New and clean. Quiet. Helpful staff. Great breakfast.
