Loved this little place. Friendly staff, recommended a great restaurant that we were able to walk to. Nicely-redone rooms. Small, but great for a night or two while visiting the Grand Canyon.

The room was ok, clean, beds had moderate comfort. Older hotel that was renovated, but it has no closet space. For what you pay, its overpriced for what you get. In a pinch, its ok for 1 night if you can't find something cheaper.

Our stay at the Rodeway Inn-Downtowner in Williams, AZ was very nice. You actually have to check in at The Lodge, another hotel across the street. We initially misread the handwritten sign at the Rodeway Inn-Downtowner office door and ended at another Rodeway accross the street and less than a block from from the Rodeway Inn-Downtowner. The other Rodeway […] was very old, dated and the ice machine was broken. The manager convinced us that our reservation was with his nasty motel. We felt we had to stay there because we would get charged anyway. When we went out for dinner, we realized we had been scammed and moved into the Rodeway Inn-Downtowner. We will dispute any charges that come from the nasty Rodeway down the street. The hotel is a historic Route 66 motel that has undergone an extensive renovation. "Nice and cozy"
The staff is extremely helpfull. The rooms are nice and very clean, however the aircondition makes ALOT of noise, so do the fan on the restroom, and the bed! Overall a nice place to stay!

"Roadway Inn Downtowner-Williams, Arizona"
Loved our stay at the Downtowner in Williams. The owners were great, the breakfast in the outside area was wonderful, and the rooms (very small) were nice, clean, and very comfortable. Would stay again, just wish it were closer to home!!!!

It's an older but nicely renovated motel. The place was clean and the locations was fine. Only an hour from the Grand Canyon. The only complaint I have is it's too near the RR, like most small towns. If you are a light sleeper the train whistles may wake you. I would stay there again. Wayne

"Very Clean and Reasonable"
This hotel was very clean and very reasonable. Its located within a few blocks of all the shops and resturants on historic route 66 in Williams AZ. Everything was within walking distance. The room was small but perfect for what we needed. We only stayed one night. If you plan on staying for 3 or more days you may want something bigger as there is no […] closet or coffee maker. My husband loved the flat screen tv and all the cable channels. Breakfast was accros the street at the Lodge in a cute outside cabanna, which was different but nice. "The Downtowner, Williams, AZ"
The WIFI didn't work from my room, 109. The hotel's WAP was across the street. To access that, I would've had to sit outside in the rain to use my computer. Wireless technology has the capability to use bridges to bring the hotel's WIFI to that side of the street for all the hotel's rooms. Implement it. "The inside surprises you."
At first glance at the outside you think what am I paying for but the rooms more than surpirse you. Outside has small parking lot, a couple of large tables to sit out on at night which are nice and for smokers there are benches with buckets right outside the room. Rooms were newly renovated and they did a great job. Loved that they have lots of pillows […] on the beds. Bathroom was nice and had lots of space. All the hotels are overpriced in Williams but with the price discount from Hotel.com it was reasonable. "Rodeway Inn"
Awesome hotel rooms. Wouldn't expect it from the outside. While checking in they gave us an upgraded room saying they randomly upgrade 1 room per day from rooms booked through hotels.com. Would stay there again!
"Not as expected"
Few amenties and small room for the price- hotel in Flagstaff nearby was half the price and double the amenitied. No way to heat water for tea and coffee in room- but there was a microwave in vending room- would stay in Flagstaff if revisited area- better value and more to do.

When we first arrived, we were a little taken aback that the motel was between two arterial roads and because we had to go across the street to a different motel to check in. But this motel was great! The staff person was friendly and prompt, the room, although small, was nicely decorated and clean, and the outdoor breakfast patio was very pleasant! […] Not only that, but we had a very entertaining stroll along old route 66 visiting some interesting shops, and the room proved to be very quiet! We would stay there again in a heartbeat. The hotel was a great value. It is an older hotel that was recently renovated. So the rooms are nice, but there is still some Route 66 heritage in it. "GOOD BUT SMALL!"
Good experience. Rooms were clean and confortable but a little small. Hotel Staff were cordial and very helpful. It is located in a small town along a main street but it may be confused with another hotel of a similar name. Therefore, watch out.

This motel, while not large, had tons of character. It seemed like maybe it was an older building, but had been remodeled very well. While we personally were spending most of our time at the grand canyon, the surrounding town was a fantastic homage to the old days of route 66. "Rodeway Inn and Stes Downtowner"
Heel leuk hotel met hele goede, schone en mooie kamer. Kleinschalig en daarom aan te raden. Ondanks de geringe afmetingen heel comfortabel. Waarschijnlijk pas gerenoveerd want alles ziet er nieuw uit. Ook de plaats Williams is prima met een museum gewijd aan de jaren 50.
"El hotel que más nos gustó en USA"
Nos quedamos aquí para visitar el Cañón. Tienes 1 hora de ida y otra de vuelta desde el hotel. Sin embargo la habitación es cómoda, limpia, bastante nueva y el desayuno es lo mejor que tienen. Repetiríamos.
Excellent accueil dans un village avec de bons restaurants. Petit déjeuner copieux. WIfi non disponible dans les chambres mais à la réception jusqu'à 23h et 24h/24 devant la réception.Grnd Canyon Canyon est à 1h de voiture.
