Hotellihuoneemme haisi vahvasti viemärille, ja kun kerroin ystävällisesti respalle siitä, hän ilmoitti sen johtuvan siitä että pidimme ikkunan suljettuina (olihan sentään jo syksy ja kylmää ja sateista) olisi pitänyt nukkuakkin ikkuna auki, varsinkin kun sänky oli suoraan ikkunan alla....eipä se olisi muualle mahtunutkaan. Huoneessa oli erittäin vaarallisia […] sähkövikoja, lamput ja palovaroittimet roikkuivat seinillä miten sattuu... ja huone oli niin pieni ettei lattialle mahtunut kaksi ihmistä samaan aikaan edes pukeutumaan. Töykeää "palvelua" (ei siis voi palveluksi kutsua!) Olen elämässäni aika paljon matkustellut, ja kaiken maailman bambumajoissa asunut... mutta koskaan ei ole kohdalle sattunut mitään tällaista! clean,small rooms,near Shepard's Bush Tube station,breakfast consists of a choice of,juice,tea,coffee,toast and possibly cereal-because i didn't stick around...was full of foreign students,but there is a bar/restaurant up the road towards the tube station called 'Belushi's' which does a nice breakfast for £8

All hotel staff found to be very unprofessional and untrained. No facilties to be found. Rooms and bath rooms are to small and narrow, one can hardly stand. Floors are filthy.

This is by far our most disappointing hotel experience in Europe. Where do I start..... from the moment we checked in, the clerk was not friendly at all, the rooms we were assigned were in the dungeon (basement they called it). The moment the doors of the tiny elevator opened in the basement, the stale musty odor hit us like a slap in the face with […] a dirty stinky wet rag. The room was tiny with barely enough room for the three beds (it was a triple) and our luggage much less 3 people. The beds were hard as rocks but the sheets were clean. The bathroom was tiny - you had to turn sideways to sit on the toilet and then you could do your business and brush your teeth and even shower at the same time. No shower curtain so the entire floor was soaked when showering. There was mold all along the bottom of the bathroom door. We had a window to a small garden but the window did not lock so we didn't feel safe at all and worried everytime we left the room. The internet service was very expensive and did not work - so I maybe got 15 min of the 2 hours that I had to purchase. The phones in the rooms do not work so we couldn't get wake up calls and had to make local calls at 1 E per minute at the front desk. On the last night when we asked about a taxi to Heathrow, we were told they would get us one but it would cost us 90 E and if we didn't book right away, the price would go up. after reading reviews on this hotel before going ,i really did not no what to expect,except i was ready to book another hotel. however we went just to see....what is peoples problems...it was lovely. clean rooms, great staff,good buffett breakfast,great location, brillant price, going back next year with my family. stop being fussy,if you want first […] class then pay the price. no differnt from usuall hotels infact better. Tiny rooms, tiny bathrooms, bland, crowded breakfast, not very convenient as far as the underground goes as the closest stop is not on a direct line; I just walked the extra distance to the Earls Court Station. But comfy bed and a tv. Sirens all the time at night. Not worth the price, but cheaper than most other places.

I have never been treated so rudely by a desk clerk as I was at this hotel. There was a mixup on the room and the man at the desk verbally attacked our party when we returned to the hotel. We were charged an egregious amount for adding one additional night to our original reservation. The hallway was stacked with trash - toilets and linens. The breakfast […] is small and seats18 people for a hotel with 40 rooms. If you arrive a minute late for breakfast, they will be clearing everything including the coffee. The hairdryers are not placed near a mirror. We were using a small compact mirror to dry our hair. The hair dryer shorted out and set off the fire alarm. The fountain and outdoor area shown in the photos is actually a dumping area for old ladders and various other trash. There is no room to sit outside. One couple who were dissatisfied and requested that the desk clerk call them a cab so they could find another hotel were told to 'just go out in the streeet and hail a taxi.' In a decent neighborhood, but a noisy street - take earplugs. Places to eat a bit far away, but not too far from the tube station. Would definitely stay there again.

Nothing worked (small fridge, phone, AC) and the bathroom smelled terrible. The shower was clugged, etc. Location not too bad, train station relatively close but there are much better options. Not recomended.

We had few expectations for this hotel after reading the reviews, but thought it wouldn't be too bad for two days. The location is good, within walking distance to two tube stops, and in a good neighborhood (fir those of you unfamiliar though, Olympia is a bit further than High Street Kensington.). The hotel itself could be much nicer, but just isn't. […] We had two single beds - fine. But the carpet is torn, the furniture worn, the bathroom door wouldn't close, the phone doesn't have a dial tone, the TV doesn't work-depressing for a vacation. But the kicker was getting stuck in the shower multiple times because the sliding door separated into pieces. The continental breakfast was limited, but the throngs of people in the tiny seating area made it impossible to sit down. there are also several toilets in the overgrown back garden-funny in retrospect, but depressing at the time. The price of the hotel was mainly the reason why I decided to book the reservation. The hotel is in a good neighborhood and very close to the London underground subway system. However, the rooms are extremely small and during my stay, the hotel rep at the lobby was not that helpful nor friendly. My room did not have a telephone and the wireless Internet […] was weak. Room was cramped and very small. No room for luggage. Room was very hot and stuffy. Carpet didn't look clean. Two men worked reception. Young man was very nice and helpful but older one was rude and not very nice. Would not recommend this hotel.

The room was on the 3rd floor, however, I could still hear loud music coming from the reception area once I was in the room. The room itself was in a terrible state of repair - large dents in the plaster, scraps of frayed carpet covering the floor, the shower hose leaked and sprayed water in all directions, the wooden door to the bathroom was crumbling […] due to water damage. The sheets were clean, however the bed covers and curtains were very faded and aged, and I could not tell if these were clean. I asked the desk clerk to arrange a taxi to take me to the airport. He quoted a price TWICE as high as what it should have been, which a local friend let me know. When I complained they shrugged their shoulders. I said it was wrong to take advantage of foreign travelers like that.

It's good for the price you pay. Just don't expect anything more than a hostel's amenities, size, or service.

Other than the pleasant staff there was little to be desired here. I knew I'd spend very little time in the room and thought this choice would be fine. I required clean sheets and hot water water when I travel. Thus time I barely got either. The room was dirty. The airconditioner was mounted on the wall above the bed and dripped a steady of water on […] your head if you turned it on. The window only opened about 4 inches so the room stayed hot. I'm very petite and the shower was so small you couldn't turn around in it with the door closed. The water changed from scalding hot to freezing cold. I was only in the room about 5 hours a day (just to sleep) and that was plenty. Next time I'll spend a bit more for better quality of the basics. Lisätietoja

Havde fire overnatninger på Kensington Suite. Havde netop fundet et hotel med morgenmad for at vi ikke skulle tænke på det men bare kunne indtage byen med sightseeing. Det var dog under al kritik. Synes ikke engang man kan kalde Continental morgenmad. Juice, toastbrød, kaffe, te, forfærdelig ost en slags marmelade. Der var ingen plads i lokalet overhovedet. […] Værelset var mini, men vi var der kun når vi sov, så ok med det. Hårtørreren var en decideret brandfælde der kun kunne gløde, den var i øvrigt helt tilstoppet med gl tyggegummiklatter. Nævnte det v receptionen og de lagde en anden hårtørrer op til os på tredjedagen. Håber de har pillet den anden ned da vi tog hjem. Rigtig god beliggenhed, lige ved Sheppards Bush, og metro cental Line, det var nemt. Kommer der nok ik igen, da vi tænker vi må kunne få lidt bedre forhold til den pris andre steder. Lisätietoja

le personnel est très peu accueillant. le petit déjeuner est très incomplet et le personnel n'est pas aimable et pas souriant du tout. vous avez l'impression de les déranger dès que vous osez demander quoique ce soit. ils mettent des cartons sous certains pieds de meuble(salle à manger et chambre)pour équilibrer le meuble. la télé fonctionnait très […] mal. Extremt små rum, duchkabiner som inte gick att stänga dörrarna på, olika storlekar på sängarna i alla rum ( vi hade 3 rum). Frukosten och dennes personal var urusel, trångt och väldigt dåligt utbud och ingen serviceminden personal alls. Relativt nära undergrounden och bra med bemannad reception dygnet runt

The room was very very small and much to small to be called a suite hotel. To narrow to feel safe regarding if any fire schould occur.

Dette hotel er virkelig dårlig standard. Snavs og meget ulækkert over det hele. Meget gammelt, og meget dårlig personale i receptionen, der dårligt kan tale engelsk. Jeg kan ikke anbefale dette hotel.

umpleasant staffs and stinky bathroom. no easy to access to Heathrow airport.

Hotelet i seg selv var helt greit. der du spiste var veldig lite. rommet vi hadde var veldig dårlig. avløpe til dusjen var tett så det rant så vit vann der. dusjen var heller ikke så veldig ren. dørene til dusjen fikk man så vidt igjen. gulvet var møkete under senga. veldig flinke med nye hondkler hver morgen. skapet på rommet var skeivt. og ac/varmepumpen […] lakk vann når vi brukte den. nar vi sa i fra skulle han komme se på den men ingen kom. veldig lite hjelp hvis du lurte på hvor ting var hen. og om ting som var galt med romme. litt misfornøy her. beliggen heten er veldig finn. ligger 400m unna europas største kjøpesenter og undergrunn som går rett inn til sentrum Lisätietoja

Fick laga sängen varje kväll, trångt i minimal frukost rum. Men man får väl kanske vad man betalar för. Buss några hundra meter bort bra för att ta sig till Notting Hill och Picadilly.

Vi kan tyvärr inte rekommendera detta hotell. Detta har flera faktorer: Personalen var inte hjälpsamma och ibland ganska otrevliga. Rummen var små, det var i princip bara sängen som fick plats. Fläkten fungerade inte. Stor gata med mycket trafik utanför. Extremt liten frukostmatsal. Vi fick stå i kö sista morgonen för att få frukost. På fönstret ovanför […] matsalen låg det massa skräp. På vägen till matsalen fick vi gå igenom deras städförråd Detta drog tyvärr ner mycket av ett hotell med bra läge! Lisätietoja

Hotellet var som sådan OK. Ikke den fine standard, men OK når man nu kun skulle bruge det som overnatningssted. Men vi havde bestilt et familie værelse med plads til 2 voksne og 2 børn, og det værelse havde de slet ikke. Så den første aften sov vi i to forskellige værelser, og de to andre aftener havde vo dog et fælles værelse med 3 senge til 4 personer. Helt ok, inget strul, sköna sängar, rent, dubbla fönster för värme, heltäckningsmattan är inte allt för ofräsch. Dock lite trångt, och frukosten är mager - cornflakes med mjölk och toast. Lite långt från centrala delar men buss 10 går dygnet runt från kensington high street till kings cross via oxford street. Området är lugnt.

Hotellet var vanskelig å finne første gang, men etter det gikk det greit, det ligger ikke veldig sentralt, ett stykke å gå til t-banen, men ligger også nerme westfield mall med alt fra Tiffanis til HM til kino til Ben & jerry, veldig greit. Nermeste t-bane station ligger på Central linjen som går tvers igjennom London, og viktigst av alt, Oxford street. […] Og stationen som ligger nerme heter Sheperds bush. Ved t-bane stationen er starbuks og en fantastisk resturant som heter panini house (veldig bra). Maten på hotellet var ikke noe å skryte av, det var taost med syltetøy og cornflakes, så spis frokost ute! På panini house er det rimelig og godt til alle mltider. Så det var min lille anbefaling. Rommene er SMÅ for å si det slik, så jeg ville ha prøvd å finne noe mere sentralt hvis jeg var dere! Men kos dere i London alle sammen :) Lisätietoja

"Hotellet", eller hostellet/ b n`b, som jeg heller ville kallt det var helt greit. Rommene var knøttsmå, og som to jenter på tur er det greit å ha plass til div stæsj. Det var ikke engang et klesskap, ei heller et lite bord. Så klær, håndklær o.l. måtte henges opp på knagger, eller bli i bagen for at ikke det skulle bli kaos. Tipper at rommet var på […] 5 kvm, og badet på kanskje to. Frokosten var en vits, synes nesten det er greit å droppe å tilby "frokost", når det eneste du får er loff, kokt egg, syltetøy, kaffe eller te. ingenting å starte en dag på det der. Og selvom frokosten skulle vare til halv ti, begynte de å rydde bort ti på halv. Og de som kom da, måtte pent gå igjen. Sluket på badet var tett, og når du hadde dusja ble du stående i skittent vann, som ikke ville renne ned. Pluss at dusjdøra var nesten umulig å få hverken opp eller igjen, og måtte være åpen når man dusja, slik at vannet rant utover gulvet også. Knagger datt ned, og flere av lampene var ødelagte. Han som møtte oss i resepsjonen var araber og kunne knapt engelsk, men den andre fyren var snakka bra og var hyggelig. Lisätietoja

Et helt moderat hotell, men ikke like bra som forventet. Rommet var trangt og badet var nesten større en selve rommet. Synes standarden til rommet var litt i dårligste laget med tanke på prisen vi betalte for rommet. Var vansklig å få riktig info av de som satt i resepsjonen etter som de manglet kunnskap om diverse info de burde kunne om London... Skulle […] bestille en taxi til Stanstead (flyplass) og da fikk jeg et forvirret blikk og fikk et retur spørsmål som lød: Stanstead? hva er det? ... Og de hadde lite informasjon å gi om hvor divesre turistattraksjoner lå og åpning og stenge tider. Tidene er greit, men beligenheten burde de visst. Obs! Vis du har med deg macbook, kan det hende du får problemer med det tråløse internette de kan tilby. Ellers var sengene gode og fint bad, deilig at de hadde en tv med mange kanal valg som var deilig å kunne slappe av til etter en laaaang dag med sightseeing og shopping. Alt i alt et helt ¨greit¨ hotell, men ikke et hotell jeg ville anbefalt for førstegangsreisende til London. Lisätietoja

Hotellet er ikke noget at råbe hurra for men det kan gå an. Der er rent. Morgenmaden er elendig. Personalet er flinke.
