the room was great, the resturant was really nice great food and a lovely breakfast, and the staff were wondifull i told them it was my husbands birthday and they sent a bottle of wine to our room.they could'nt do enough for us. they were so kind

The hotel has a fabulous location between 2 subway stations (Westminster/Waterloo). The Parliment, London eye and several other attractions are all within walking distance, loved the location!! We are a family of four and we had a big room which was slightly separated (one double bed and one double sleeper sofa - pull out) a little kitchenette with […] a microwave and water heater. The rooms are clean, spacious for London standard and modernly decorated. We didn't have breakfast included, it cost 10 pounds per adult (children under 5 are free). The breakfast is a buffet with quite a few selections, enough to please even the pickiest toddler! The staff is very friendly, attentative and helpful! Would definately stay here again! Lisätietoja

We stayed for 2 nights last weekend and were very impressed with this hotel. All the staff were polite, helpful and courtious. The room was very comfortable, so was the bed and there was a microwave and coffee maker in the room so you could be self sufficiant if need be. We had a very lovely stay at the Park Plaza County Hall Hotel in London. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was well maintained and the food was delicious. The hotel was also within walking distance to a number of London attractions and to the Underground which is very easy to navigate. Room was small. The door to the shower room was frosted glass and as we were 2 friends sharing a twin bed room, we didnt really appreciate this and had to avert our gaze when one was in the shower room! The rooms are built around the restaurant and bar, in a kind of cruise ship style (but not in the plush, classy, shiny way you would expect from the […] price) and as a result we could hear the lifts ALL night despite being far away from the lifts. I forget the ladies name on reception, but she was really helpfull at all times, she really made us feel welcome.

The Hotel is close to London Eye and Westminster/Big Ben. It was fresh and had fully acceptable breakfast. The service was personal and very friendly. I can absolutely recommend it for a family-weeknend in London

County Hall was a nice hotel and the staff was very friendly. Our room (after paying for an upgrade) was a very nice size for 3 three people (1219). We did get a corner room with lots of windows and privacy from the large open space in the center of the hotel. The pull out sofa for sitting and sleeping was as hard as a brick. Also, the bathroom door […] was sliding frosted glass, located directly across from the bed, so there was absolutely no privacy for anyone in the bathroom. As part of the paid upgrade, we had access to the executive room on the 2nd floor. It was very nice to be able to eat breakfast in the hotel before venturing out, but because the room was so small it was sometimes difficult to find a place to sit. Overall the hotel was very clean, the staff helpful and friendly. The room was a good size and the location was decent as it was only a couple of blocks away from the tube, the London Eye and the Westminster Bridge. However, it felt very corporate...cookie cutter...nothing special. The Park Plaza Westminster which is literally across the street has a contemporary bar and more upgrades that I would be interested in for the next visit. However, the Westminster is also more expensive. The best comparison may be to say, if the Park Plaza Westminster is a "Contemporary Formal Dining Room" than the Park Plaza County Hall is the "Informal Cafe". Lisätietoja

I have stayed in this hotel twice now both times i have been on a shopping trip with my girl friends. I plan to return again in the New Year with my family, cannot fault this hotel A* service from all staff always happy to help and the rooms themselves are pure luxury!!! Round the corner from Waterloo main station & tube.

Nice hotel close to London Eye and lots of other attractions. My only ciriticism is that the walls between rooms must be extremely thin as on one evening when we went to bed we could clearly hear the couple next door; I'm sure I don't need to elaborate!

Hotel is in fairly convenient location, easily accessible to Waterloo Train/Tube station and Westerminster Tube. The location is great, service was very timely and courteous, and the free laundry was very helpful. But the room was a little small and you don't have as nice of a view of the Big Ben and Westminister because the County Hall blocks the view from most of the floors.

What a great find! Received an upgrade on arrival as it was our wedding anniversary, a real treat. I would definetly check out this hotel 1st everytime when booking to come to london. Thankyou.

The hotel is in a great location just behind the London Eye and close to the river taxi, bus and tube. There is a car park next door charging £20 per 24 hours. Staff all really friendly and helpful. A shame we couldn't book a bed and breakfast package but we made some in the room which saved money. There are several cafes and restaurants just along […] the road so meals weren't a problem. Great hotel. Location is fantastic, near 15 min walk from Victoria Station walking past Houses of Parliament, West Minster Abbey and Big Ben and 3 mins from Waterloo. London Eye just round the corner, numerous restaurants on the Southbank. Perfect for visits to Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliament and The eye -, staff All made us feel that we were important, a little hiccup with room key, and within a couple of minutes the maintenance man arrived and sorted it. As a family of four, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable. The pull-out sofa bed was not particularly comfortable. The small kitchenette was very convenient and we made great use of the Marks & Spencer food store at Waterlook Station a short walk away. We originally planned to stay from Friday to Sunday but enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra night. The location is excellent with easy access to the London Eye and Westminster Bridge/ Millennium Bridge making Trafalgar square only a 10-15 minute walk away. We booked an Executive Studio under the “Family Fun” package and both the room and deal were […] excellent. The room was spacious and had a microwave, sink, espresso maker, kettle and a small fridge plus plates, cups and cutlery so we could have snacks and things in the room. The family package meant the children’s breakfast was free and the adults at reduced rate plus the children got vouchers to use in the bar/restaurant and a session making pizzas with the chef. Food in the hotel was at London West end prices but was excellent. The staff were brilliant, my little girl was sick in the lift and the staff fell over themselves to be helpful and even asked how she was when we came down for breakfast the next day. The only down side were the lifts which are not sufficient to service the number of floors in the hotels and fill up quickly meaning that often you had to wait while full lifts passed by before eventually managing to get in one. Great location and overall good value for money. Only compaint was the room layout, where upon entering the room you walk directly into the bedroom.

Check-in was very thorough, fully explained the hotel services & they gave our Daughter a goody bag. She was delighted with this. It included 'Park Plaza' vouchers, which she could ecxhange in the restaurant for ice-cream, juice or sweeties. Room was immaculate, we had a view of the london-Eye. The only thing i would mention, when you come out of your room having had the air-con on, the communal area's seemed quite hot. However this wouldn't stop us from staying again. We were very pleased with the Park Plaza County Hall hotel in London. Jjust south of Westminster bridge, this hotel is centrally located to all major sites and close to both the Waterloo and Westminster tube stops. Our room was spacious and very clean. This hotel was awesome for us as a family. We were able to easily walk to many of the top attractions including Westminister Abbey, Trafalgar Square etc. There is a tube station next door connected to a regional rail station so you can easily get anywhere. Tons of buses stop right out front. There are a variety of restaurants and stores within a few […] blocks which is great since the rooms have small kitchens. We stayed a week at the beginning of July 2011. Room was as advertised, clean and comfortable. Very quiet. I initially wasn't sure about the location, but upon arrival was much relieved. It's easy, safe walking distance to both Westminster and Waterloo Underground stations, and the Thames Riverwalk is only a block away. This hotel was a block away from dining and the London Eye. Close to hop on hop off bus tours and very clean. Breakfast was a bit busy and we had to sit in a conference room instead of the dining area, but staff were very nice and the rooms were clean.

We enjoyed our stay. The rooms are very good, although the translucent door on the toilet is a bit unnerving.

On arrival at the hotel the staff at reception were very friendly and processed our check in quickly and efficiently. We were also pleasantly surprised to find we had been upgraded. The actual access for the station was sightly challenging while toting multiple suit cases however it made travel easily by train for getting around London. Probably one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. I was on the 12th floor with a view of eye, Westminster & Big Ben, room was quiet above street noise, lovely bathroom , good layout for family. Great breakfast, get down before 7.20 and you won't have to queue. You can ask for a box and fill in with picnic goodies.Kids get tokens to spend in the […] bar- really cool idea. Brought my 16 year old daughter and friend for a shopping trip and booked an executive studio room. Room worked really well - they slept on a very good sofa bed in a lounge that was separated from the main bed by the bathroom and a short corridor with very good tea and coffee making facilities, giving us all enough privacy and space, although the view […] was certainly not great - we expected to look out on the london eye and were delighted at having a room on the 13th floor. Instead, we were on the other side of the hotel looking out onto the top of waterloo station and back alleys. Breakfast was good but as the hotel was fully booked on Saturday, there were long queues so we were brought off to a makeshift breakfast room on the first floor - not so pleasant. Well, me, my partner, and her eight year old daughter fancied a few days in London so that we could do the sights and have some quality time together. I've worked in London for yuears but it was interesting visiting as a tourist..... We chose the PP County Hall as it was one of the few Central London hotels to offer accommodation for three in 'comfort'. […] We checked in OK and headed for the room via one of the three glass fronted lifts in the atrium - not quite sure what goes on with these but the design is pretty rubbish as a chap leant against the buttons and managed to stop us between floors much to the panic of the 8-year old. For the time we stayed there we could never be sure the lifts were going to get us to where we wanted to go as they seemed to be quite random!! The room was an Execuitve Room on the 8th floor which had a double bed on the window side, a bathroom in the centre, and a sofa bed/sitting room on the internal wall. Somehow it contirved to be a bit cramped and felt rather dark and dismal. It was nicely furnished although an armchair and a stool probably stretch the term furnished. The A/C was ineffectual and as the windows don't open even a crack, there was a constant stifling feeling about the place - not helped by the fact that the bathroom extractor fan didn't work (couldn't be fixed until the day we left - compensated with a bowl of fruit) so steam and fug built up in the room itself....not pleasant. The kitchenette was handy though and the much vaunted Nespresso machine (is that what makes it an Executive Room rather than a standard one?!?) was novel. Beware the kids videos on the TV - there is a charge for them and, as usual, you pay extrotionate fees for WiFi access if it works. Food was mediocre and overpriced - £15 for not very good fish'n'chips (actually fish and about 6 chips but very nicely cut and stacked chips!) is taking the mickey.
