Hotelli sijaitsee alueella missä haisee erittäin vahvasti rikkiyhdisteille eli kananmunalle... en suosittelisi kenellekään hajusta johtuen. Haju myös hotellin sisällä vahva.

Very good location, room was old but keep clean. Staff was very proffessional and kind. Good breakfast. Parking is free in safe area.

Pleasant receptionists. Spoilt for choice for hotels in rotorua. Not sure if they are exceptionally good. Be prepared to climb a flight of stairs if u did not ask for a ground unit.

We were disappointed with the condition of the rooms, beds, furniture, the water kettle. My husband and my 7 year old daughter woke up with bed bug bites. The water kettle was dirty and old. Old rooms needs updating and change of furniture. The Pool looked aweful and we did not feel comfortable for our kids to get in the water. The hotel was great with great service etc. the only disappointing thing is that my friend left her new expensive set of makeup in the room and the housekeeping says it was not left there. The reception was great about trying to find it etc, it is housekeeping we were disappointed with other than that we loved it!

Hotel is good value and in a good condition. However, rooms (esp bathrooms) are a bit old

The Hotel staff are very helpful. Good location to get to everything.The rooms a little older but comfortable. Able to book private spas down at the pool is a bonus. Would prefer to see glasses in room taken to kitchen and cleaned in a hot dishwasher rather under bathroom tap in room for health purposes!

We stayed three days, and the service was ok with different services and good location.

Long walk to room; no covered walkway joining two main parts of the hotel. Good location but room did not look out on to lake as hoped.

We have a brilliant two night stay at the Sudima Hotel which is next to Lake Rotorua. Our room was comfy and warm, the bed was larger than my king size bed back at home in the UK and we enjoyed the breakfast. We had a fantastic time at the hangi meal with the cultural performance; this really made our stay. Rang hotel day before arrival to request quiet room so as to enjoy sleep in and was informed that wasn't a problem. Both mornings sleep in was impossible as our room was very close to where buses idled to pick up bags, also noise (yelling / screaming) from departing people all this continued for over an hour. Mostly it was good, clean rooms, great breakfast, […] close to other amenities but as I found out if you book direct with this hotel you can get a room that you actually book not just what is left over when you arrive. Cheaper on hotels.com than at reception. Hotel reception staff were deliberately awkward when I decided to book on the internet (on mobile in their reception) instead of booking over the counter at the reception which was more expensive. Totally different to other hotels who actually offer to book it on hotels.com for you sometimes if it is cheaper. […] Made me wait for 15 minutes to book in as they claimed they were waiting on the email from hotels.com. The website does not show the true picture of the hotel. Its a nice and great hotel to stay in for the price but its not as great as we expected.

Would have been nice to have our luggage taken up to our room for us instead of us having to climb up stairs, not the best when we are not up to scratch health wise. We do under stand that there are renovations being done to improve the Hotel and may be in the future there could be a Bellboy on hand to take luggage .

This hotel in my opinion is grossly overated the star rating at best is 2 and not 4 star as listed. It is run more like a motel than a hotel. Our room was rated as superior but was dark and dinghy and very battered and worn. It was situated on the back corner of the building and at the point where all the visiting coach tours loaded/offloaded the passengers […] at 06.30a.m. every morning, air brakes hissing and diesel engines running just what you want when you are on holiday. very professional hotel staff, friendly and helpful. hotel room is comfortable.

I chose this hotel due to it's location to the lake but little did I know how much the Rotorua smell would permeate the entire facility. It stank! That, I suspect is nothing to do with the Sudima and just Rotorua in general. The hotel was fine if a little old-fashioned - apart from the smell, all good! For a 4-5 star hotel I have never in my life stayed in anything so poor. Rooms were outdated and in need of a huge upgrade. small 20in TV, no air con, Just terrrible

Frankly, I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel, at the Hotels.com package rate it was a snip, providing good, comfortable accomodation, in a good position and inclusive of buffet style breakfast. The Hotel appears to be built around several 3 storey blocks with a central admin/eating facility, one drawback could be the very small lift in our block, […] this was often unavailable (in use or oou?). No doubt because of its position it is used by many coach tours, this led to some crowding at breakfast (up until 08.30) but the later eater had no problem and the food was both plentiful and of good quality. Great location for the hotel. Room condition was a little old but good for the price. Hotel had nice Hangi dinner and Cultural Show, good option from some of the more expensive shows in town.

It was really good to have a nice warm room on a cold rainy day especailly after completion of the sports event we were there for. The only thing I thought was not that great was the shower as it sprayed water all over the floor which I then mopped up (the spray was too wide for a shower over bath set up)

that was terrible,i have booked a double room for two days,everything was ok at the first day,when we come back at the second day after long driving,rubbish was still there,tea spoon was dirty,no tissue at the wash room,there was only one towel at our bath room.we will not come back again.

This was my third stay at this hotel and I like the location. The beds are good and the bath products are lovely. Also the coffee/tea selection is very good.

This is a big hotel in good condition for its age. The room was a good size and the beds comfortable. It handles a lot of tour groups and families but this did not affect our stay. The restaurant was good for dinner but service was slow as it was Easter. It is a short walk to the town centre and other restaurants. 因靠近湖边，有湖景的房间硫磺味道比较大。

Vi kom til hotellet litt utpå ettermiddagen og fikk en hyggelig velkomst av resepsjonisten. Innsjekking gikk fort, og vi kom oss til hotelrommet. Det er tydlig av hotellet er av eldre dato, og interiørmessig skapte ikke rommet en avslappende atmosfære, mye tepper og alt, det er ikke så gunstig når man har støvallergi. Vi bestilte en halvtime med spa, […] dette var gratis på hotellet. Det var ikek annet en et privat rom med et lite basseng som man kunne få bobler i, men vi koste oss og fikk varmen igjen. Personalet i baren var lite hyggelige og brukte lang tid da vi bestilte Irish Coffe. Prisen var også relativt stiv til å være New Zealand. Det ligger en del fine bygg i området rundt hotellet, og det var helt grei gangavstand til sentrum. Vær obs på lukten, den var ganske ekstrem rundt hotellet, trlig fordi det ligger nært vannet. L'hotel è abbastanza ben situato. Vicino al lago e a circa 10-15 minuti dal centro o da dove si trova l'ufficio turistico. L'hotel offre tutto ciò di cui si può avere bisogno e anche servizi superiori come la sala terme.

L'hôtel lui même es digne d'un bon hôtel des chaînes d'hôtels. En revanche, il est situé en bord de lac. Une odeur extrêment forte de souffre est donc présente, qui se sent peu dans l'hôtel et dans les chambres. accueil très bien

ホテルのロケーションはとても満足。部屋も広くきれいで値段が安い割によかったです。 しかし、つらっかのはNZ特有かもしれませんがお湯があまり長い事でなくてシャワーがすぐ冷たい水になってしまった事です。　寒かったのでこれは辛かったです。 あとレセプションのお姉さんがあまり親切ではありませんでした。　チェックインしただけでホテルの説明も朝食を取る場所や時間、プールの使い方、タオルの貸し出しいろいろあるのに何も説明してくれないので利用できる事が帰る頃にやっとわかるなどちょっと残念でした。

ホテルは新しくないですが、湖が近く、近くにスーパーマーケットやショッピングモールがあって便利です。滞在した部屋は、２Fの湖が見える部屋だったので好印象でした。多くの部屋は湖は望めないので今一かもしれません。もっと高級感のあるホテルが望みなら、隣のミレニアムホテルを、近代的でレイクビューを望むならノボテルをお勧めします。 朝食つきプランで７泊しましたが、内容は毎日まったく同じものでした。でも、期待していませんでしたから問題なしです。プライベートスパが３部屋あって、早朝から夜まで使えます。壁に囲まれているため景色は無しですが、露天風呂感覚があり良かったです。

Hôtel correct..Mais attention il n'y a pas d'ascenseur, ni climatisation dans les chambres, seul un brasseur d'air. A savoir, nous y sommes allés en Février, le plus chaud mois depuis des années. Mais Le brasseur a fini par être satisfaisant car la nuit s'est rafraîchit. PAr contre, nous avons été surpris et déçu du service au cours du spectacle MAORI. […] Service indélicat, non assisté..Brusque..Bref.....Heureusement que le spectacle en lui même a été bien. Hôtel un peu vieillissant, mais les environs sont très jolis. L'hôtel est bien placé.
