"Attitudes and Rules"
Met a friend to play the two Strantz courses adjacent to this property. The location was convenient and the lodging acceptable (more on the level of a Super 8 then a luxury condo advertised). While visually attractive on arrival, the couch and beds were well worn with no support. Don't plan on a temperature lower than 70 - 71 degrees, a large notes […] that their equipment could freeze up (sounds like maintenance or replacement is required) and additional fees will be charged is posted over the thermostat. My brief interactions with the staff (1 phone call, a rushed check-in due to the individuals desire to leave 4 hrs earlier than the 9:00 office close shared earlier that same day) were abrupt and not service oriented, On departure plan to strip all beds, clean all dishes, remove all trash (still not sure where to remove it to) or additional fees will be charged. It was more than i expected. The photos did not do justice to the quality. A few improvements are needed, nothing major. Wireless internet is a must for all hotels.

The experience was great! Clean,furnished 2 bedroom suite,pull out couch bed, w laundry,fully equipped kitchen,cable t.v. viewed on plasma screens.The swimming pool was a short walk & the grill was out back in beteween the suites & the 7th hole of the golf course.We had a BLAST !!!

This turned out to be the perfect place for our family to stay during a long holiday weekend. It is convenient to the beach, food, and shopping, while also very quiet and private. The pools were great and we were able to split our time between relaxing in the pools and visiting the beach. The resort was beautiful, in a good location and the outdoors were maintained very well. The inside of our condo while very neat had a few things that concerned me. The stand in the living room next to the couch had black smudge marks all over it and the wall in the master bedroom's bath was rather dirty. Other than that the condo was great. A couple […] things that we didn't have while there that I thought would be standard for a 3 star resort was a dvd player and internet access. We were traveling with 2 toddlers and there was only standard cable on the tv which doesn't always have suitable programming for toddlers. It did however have a vcr but we had brought dvd's for them and the vcr was of little help. My husband is taking courses online for college and was unable to access the internet for our stay which was a problem. No information was given to us regarding logging on to the network at check in so I wrongly assumed there would be a public network available that required no password. I assumed wrong. While our stay was comfortable and the complex well maintained those 2 things really affected the quality of our stay. Even cheap hotel/motels offer internet access. I can't say enough how disappointed I was about that. One more thing that isn't a big deal but would've helped was there was no book/binder with information on local dining attractions etc. We had stayed last summer at a sister resort owned by the same company and they had information in a binder with nearby food and attractions listed with phone numbers which was very helpful. This is a nice place (condos on golf course) . Only problems I had were that two fo the three remote controls didn't work right, but thats about it. It was a clean, quiet place to stay. It was a little further away from the main Myrtle Beach area. That would be the only reason I probably wouldn't stay there again.
Great Place!! Check in staff was a little rude. Lots of threatening paperwork with keys and in room. Would like to feel like I was welcomed a little more. Don't stay past 10:00am on check out day or apparently they call the police and have you arrested for trespassing. Chill out people!!!

Can't beat the price and location. Located on a quite and peaceful golf course this resort was great for me and my family. The units are not huge but well suited to handle any family of four or less. Only a twenty to thirty minute drive to Myrtle Beach and all it has to offer.
Upon an early arrival check-in inquiry, we learned our reservation had not been submitted to the resort staff. Staff was extremely helpful, providing a 3 BR, vs reserved 2 BR, at check in. The 'carriage house' was beyond spacious and well appointed. Cleanliness of unit was a concern. The bath/shower areas had a difficult to control mold problem at the […] seams. The kitchen appliances, (interior) cabinets & drawers, and cookware/dishware needed to be better cleaned. Area was quiet and well maintained. I would recommend True Blue Resorts to anyone. The rooms were nice and clean. However, the main office was very difficult to find. There needs to be specific directions on where to find it.

Happy with the resort. Clean, nice, with basic ammenities. I will stay there next time a book something down that way. Pawleys beach is only five minutes away by car; Myrtle Beach 16 miles north. The only problem is that the resort does not offer internet! I got to find I place to connect to the net if I want to stay at true blue.

Getting there is the toughest part. The address given through Hotels.com does not register on GPS. To get there, you actually need to locate the True Blue Golf Resort. The front staff is only manned during daylight hours, so if you arrive after 5pm you'll likely find yourself speaking to a recording. Our group was very frustrated with the lack of communication […] and guidance. Once a lonely security guard rescued us and directed us to the lock box and condo, we were mostly pleased. Our one complaint about the room was that it was advertised to accommodate 8 people, however there was no sleeper in the sofa or hide-a-bed for 2 of our group. We had to go purchase air mattresses so they could get settled in. The amenities and condos are nice - we had no problems with that aspect. Had our expectations been better set, the location easier to find, and if the room was appointed to same as what is listed on the website - I would be more inclined to recommend this resort. The place was great. The office was a bit secluded however, that turned out to be the charm which made the entire trip great. The resort is hidden in the middle of everything. Only about 25 minutes from Myrtle Beach, and only minutes from grocery stores and restaurants. The Condo itself was very spacious and accomodating. Four adults and three children […] had plenty of space with a big living room two master bedrooms as well as another bedroom, bathroom and a roomy kitchen. The pools were very close and not crowded at all. We had a great view of the golf course and a grill in the backyard. My son and I stayed 3 nights. The 2 bedroom condo was just as advertised and had everything we needed. We only had breakfast in (coffee and Krispy Kreme, what else?) but the kitchen had everything but the food to cook - if you don't need room service, this is a bargain. I would definitely stay at the True Blue Executive Suites again. It was a comfortable stay, and was set up like a home away from home. We had a beautiful view of the golf course, and enjoyed our stay there.

I was disappointed that our master bedroom had two twin mattresses/box springs side by side instead of a queen/king sized bed. It was really uncomfortable and ruined my vacation due to back pain. The beds were hard on the edges and sunken in the middle. I was hoping to at least snuggle my spouse on our vacation but the beds prevented that since you […] were forced to sleep in the center of your own bed side by side. The hotel was a decent price but so is a Super 8 hotel (only they have better beds) and I was expecting at least a full sized bed for the master bedroom in a so called "Villa" at a resort. "OK for the money"
There were some problems at check in but they were solved by the staff within 2 hours. Overall, it was a nice place for the money. The proximity to Grand Strand beaches and the space is definitely a plus.

"True Value"
The 2 bed, 2 bath was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked including spices, and the location was perfect for all attractions in the area. Will definitely be back to True Blue........this time with golf clubs, as the courses in the area looked challenging and well kept.

"Great location, but a bit disappointing"
This property is located within 5 minutes of Pawleys Island beach and is convenient to shopping and dining facilities. The resort itself is well-maintained and our unit was right across the road from one of the five pools. The pool was heated and clean and my kids really loved it. The unit itself had three spacious bedrooms with reasonably comfortable […] beds. The bathrooms are small but workable. However, for the price per night, I expected more. We had 10 people in our party (for a 3 bedroom condo), so we were counting on the sofa bed. However, it was broken and unusable. My kids ended up sleeping on the floor. The kitchen was not at all well-equipped. There were only 3 forks for a condo that was advertised to sleep 10. When we arrived, there was food from the previous guests still in the oven as well as dirty dishes in the dishwasher. We had to take the door to one of the bedrooms off the hinges because it kept locking itself when we turned the knob. There were only 2 TV's in the entire unit (not one in each bedroom) and each of them was 19". This could be an amazing property, but they need to work on the details. Lisätietoja

"Great Room for the Money"
I love the hotel. Love being 5 min for Pawlesys Island Beach. Beach not crowed at all. On Trip with family they love pool, however it was a 5min walk from the room. But it was great. I would def stay again

As first time vacationers to SC, the hotel was worth the prize we payed. It was a distance away from Myrtle beach but my family particularly liked that peace and quiet away from the crowd.
