Monterey Oceanside Innn 16 ilmaistoidussa huoneessa on hiustenkuivaaja ja avattavat ikkunat. Vieraat voivat käyttää huoneessa ilmaista nopeaa langallista Internet-yhteyttä. 40-tuumainen LCD-televisio, joissa on kaapelikanavat, ovat saatavissa. Kaikissa huoneissa on työpöydät ja puhelin; ilmaiset paikallispuhelut ovat käytettävissä (voimassa saattaa olla rajoituksia). Kylpyhuoneissa on suihku / amme-yhdistelmä, jossa on käsisuihku.

Saavuimme myöhään ja jouduin soittamaan ovessa olevaan puhelinnumeroon. Kaveri toisessa päässä oli ärtyneen oloinen, mutta saimmepa tietää missä huoneemme ja sen avain ovat. Huone oli siisti vaikkakin parhaat päivänsä nähnyt. Aamulla uima-altaalle joka toimi hienosti ja nyt asiakaspalvelu oli erittäin kohteliasta. Alue, eli Carmel on todella siisti ja hieno. Noin 15 min. kävelymatka Carmelin upeille rannoille.

Mukava pikku hotelli satumaisessa Carmelissa. Alkuun mietitytti huoneen sijainti maan tasossa yhdistettynä heppoisen oloiseen ulko-oveen. Carmel on ilmeisesti kuitenkin niin rauhallinen ympäristö, että mitään ongelmia ei ollut. Palvelu oli erittäin ystävällistä, vastaanotossa kerrottiin oma-aloitteisesti ja auliisti, mitä nähtävää ja tehtävää kaupungissa on yhden yön vierailijalle. Erinomainen aamupala.

"perfect place for closeness to attractions"
The heaters didn't work. The hostess continued to convince me to give it 15 to 20 minutes to warm up. While I was going back and forth with her... There was another gentleman that came out and gave me another key to another room and the heater in that one fired right up. The fans in the bathroom are horribly loud with squeeking piercing noise that cannot […] be stopped until it decides too, so don't even think about going to the bathroom with the light on without waking your significant other and getting a headache. The free breakfast....do I really need to go there. The muffins that were there after our second morning looked like the same ones left from the day before. The bottom line is in my opinion, if you are looking to stay in Monterey and you are looking to be close to cannery row, spend a little more and get a better hotel :) If you just need a place to crash and no one needs to be impressed with the BASICS, then have at it. Manager did not know how to use reservation computer and did not seem to understand English. Room was very small and did not have a reading light. Area was commercal with no restaurants. However it was well booked ; must be a competitve rate.

We had quite a few problems with this place and it wasn't at all what we expected. They include: Tiny rooms with a tiny television, painful mattresses that will have you tossing and turning all night long, few towels, very thin walls with inconsiderate neighbors on both sides you could hear all night long, and a cheap breakfast of disgusting coffee […] and store bought muffins. Hotel was good for the price and being an overnight stay too. Small selection for breakfast but it was sufficient.
"Awful bed, would not stay here again."
Although the location is pretty convenient, and the room is a decent size (we had friends on fremont street that could barely walk around the bed, their room was so small) I would not stay here again due to the quality of the beds. We barely slept all night and had horrible back pains in the morning. The bed was just horrible.

Quality service not very satisfied : the inn manager knocked at our door at 10pm without saying who she was. And this to know if this was our car which was parked in front of your room (but she had our car number !!!!).
Very good except for the bed. You roll to the center. I still recomend it. Friendly, clean , convinent. Excellent price for Monterey

"Paid More than Hilton/Embassy per Night For This?"
Recently rented a room and paid a good chuck of change per night. Not sure what was going on in town to make prices so high. For the price I paid, I was expecting a decent room and breakfast having stayed at Hilton/Embassy Suites for less. Room was less than Motel 6 quality with a TV that must've been rescued from That 70s Show set. The continental […] breakfast was a muffin cut into 4 squares, and the coffee tasted like it was from yesterday's grounds. The walls were paper thin and I heard the family next door allowing their kids to bounce on the bed and shout loudly past midnight. I eventually banged my fist on the wall to get them to quiet down. "It sucked"
Was horrible don't go
the beds was uncomfortable. Not enough towels. the toilet got blocked I spoke to the manager and he told me it will be taken care off when we leave. I told him we want to use the toilet. It did not get fixed. We leave at about 9 am. Breakfast was very poor in presentation. Just muffin milk, juice no tea and a little jug of cereal. Didnot have fruit. As I first walked into my room, I noticed a giant weird-looking carpet stain in the entrance of our room. I didn't really mind it and went to walk around town. I came back late and was tired but I counldn't help but notice a few things; the sink was dirty, the toilet was splattered with brown stains and to top it off the bed was super uncomfortable. I booked only a couple nights in advance, so this place was the last with any vacancies, and the best price of those. I had some trepidation about doing this after reading the reviews, but I was very pleased upon arriving. It's a very small place with equally small rooms; two double beds, a table, and a desk didn't leave much room for luggage - or people, […] for that matter. However, the room was wonderfully clean, including the bathroom. It's all in very good condition. The double beds were of ample size, and not uncomfortable, though of course they weren't top-notch or anything. The only other complaint I have is that the walls are very thin. I kind of feel bad for the family staying next door to me and my friends as we were up late. The staff, an Indian couple, were very nice and very helpful! I'd definitely recommend this place. The staff was not friendly. There was not enough parking spaces for each room. The location is on Del Monte and not close to anything. The room was clean and the bed was good..

We were only there for 1 night. I forgot something in the room when I checked out and after I went back had no trouble w/manager letting me back in. Great rate, decent place to sleep for short stay.

This Inn is cheap and suites your needs for a one or two night stay, but the bed is springy and the sheets feel like your grandma's who passed 10 years ago...The towels were "butt" sized at best...but I would stay here again because the location is very convenient. "Good place for the price"
If you're looking for a cheap room that serves the purpose of sleeping, this is a perfect place. I wouldn't bring a girlfriend here for a romantic weekend, but I was with friends travelling up the coast, so it was perfect for one night.

"Horrible hotel, do not stay there!"
This hotel was the worst we have ever stayed. Unfriendly front desk, dirty room, there was a spider in the bath tub, the bathroom door had stains from not cleaning. Nasty horrible hotel.

It's an older hotel. The walls are paper thin. The couple next to my room had a fight at 3am and I was fully awake. It's just an OK hotel. Location was a bit offtrack.
