An Island Oasis - Key West

The room was comfy and convenient to the activities we were interested in. However, the room air conditioners were noisy and the one in the bedroom didn't fit the opening which allowed bugs into the room. When we let the clerk know about this, the only fix was to stuff insulation around it. Both air conditioners need attention!

The room is a bed and bathroom. It was away from the bars and touristy noise. Close to public beach. Hot tub could have been hotter for the season. We were out before breakfast was served. Hard to see from street due to lack of sign and landscaping. Good for what we needed.

Great place! Clean room, beautifully restored home. We arrived late in the day, but the keys were waiting for us and it was not an inconvenience at all. This lil bed and breakfast was very quaint. I would recommend the cottage they have because everything is very quiet in the main house. The only thing I was uncomfortable/unsure about is they leave your name/keys in the mailbox for check in if you come after about 4pm. That's very unsecure in this day and age yet as long as this lil area remains safe, […] I guess it's not really that big of a deal. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay and I would prefer to stay there again if I return to Key West. Not to mention, the continental breakfast was so serene. Like the title.. ..exactly what you pay for compering to more expensive hotels in Key West. If i go to Key West i will probably stay here again.

Perfect for me travelling alone, no one bothered me, felt safe on second floor, good little breakfast, parking on the side of the house. I did feel like a guest in someones house, and comfortable. Just far enough from the nightlife, and a quick drive to Higgs or Smathers beach. Don't expect a front desk though, you will only see the staff of one, serving […] breakfast and cleaning. This is a charming hotel that seems like it was a former mansion of sorts. There are only a limited number of rooms but we didn't have a problem snagging a room. We ended up getting a suite on the top floor, which actually turned out to be a great value. Our room was enormous as we had a bedroom, living room area, and kitchen area. Everything is very […] well maintained, clean, and comfortable. We slept really well on the giant king bed. Breakfast was simple with toast, bagels, yogurt, milk, juices, etc and the staff is very friendly. My fiance and I are laid back, casual and do not need a lot. Especially when we are on vacation in a place that begs for you to be walking around outdoors. That being said, An Island Oasis was wonderful. The small quaint room was not only cute and comfy, but had everything we needed and more. Microwave, microfridge, queen sized bed, TV, coffee maker, […] even a small personal fan if we needed - plus a personal bathroom. The breakfast served every morning outside was a great way to start the day and talk about the adventures we would have. Great attention to detail in cleanliness and comfort. Room was cozy but immaculate and lacked nothing... Good Privacy too! Exceeded my expectations. Very nice property located in a quiet area, short easy walk to Duval St. with complimentary parking. .......Highly Recommended.

I absolutely loved the quaintness of this B&B. The gardens made me feel like I was in my own back yard. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Great location. Everything is in walking distance. Was only home for 8 days when I scheduled our next visit.

Petit hotel charmant situé dans une maison à l'architecture traditionnelle de Key West. Sa localisation est parfaite, à deux pas du Southernmost Point et guère plus de Duval Street. Ett mycket trevligt litet bed & breakfast. Vårt rum var lagom stort och hade till och med kaffe till bryggaren färdigförpackat i ett filter. Frukosten var mycket bra med skurna färska frukter, bagels, rostbröd m.m. Trädgården var verkligen som en liten oas och även om vi inte nyttjade den pyttelilla poolen såg vi andra som satt i den på eftermiddagarna. Wir waren im Oktober 2010 im Island Oasis. Obwohl wir vor der Check-In-Zeit ankamen, konnten wir problemlos schon einchecken und unser Gepäck deponieren. Unser Zimmer ("Flamingo") war zugegebenermaßen nicht allzu groß, aber das haben wir auch nicht benötigt - war ja nur zum Schlafen. Das Doppelbett war von der Qualität ok, das ganze Zimmer sehr sauber. […] Das Hotel liegt in der South Street nur wenige Gehminuten vom Souternmost point entfernt. Daher ist die "Altstadt" problemlos zu Fuß erreichbar. Obwohl unser Fenster zur Straße rausging, war es sehr ruhig (nicht allzu stark befahrene Straße). Das Frühstück wird draußen auf der Terrasse serviert und ist für ein B&B gut. Sehr nett war der Besitzer, der sich beim Frühstück noch nett mit den Gästen unterhalten hat - als wir abfahren wollten, kam er sogar noch an unser Auto gelaufen und hat uns den Tip wiedergegeben, da wir als junges Paar ja das Geld für andere Sachen gebrauchen könnten :-) Lisätietoja

Das Zimmer war großartig - Hotel ideale Lage zum Strand - nah genug am Nachtleben um teilzunehmen - aber nicht so nah das man nicht schlafen kann. Wer also nicht nur Party machen will ist hier gut aufgehoben. Das Frühstück ist immer sehr gut (das beste das ich auf der Insel bisher hatte -3. Hotel).
