Ensimmäiseen tarjottuun huoneeseen kuului järkyttävä keittiön tuulettimen jyrinä, joka alkoi iltapäivällä ja olisi kuulemma jatkunut klo 21:een ja alkanut taas aamulla klo 8. Saimme pyynnöstä vastaavan toisen huoneen, joka oli ok. Palvelu oli muutenkin erittäin ystävällistä.

I've stayed at this hotel many, many times before, but this time their complimentary WiFi was a problem all the time, and every time I complained to the front desk people, I'd get the classic "no, we're not having any problems with our Internet". Also, there is no business center, so there are a few PCs and a printer by the fireplace that never worked: […] errors after errors on all sent print requests. Do not bother, I'm gonna try the Embassy Suites next time, plus there are restaurants and even a Ralphs/Kroger by. Lisätietoja

I always trust that Marriotts will give great service - if you've been to one you should be able to trust them all. This hotel was nice overall, but just had a few small issues. The first being the fact the while I was sitting at the hottub the pool guy came over and told me he was going to drain the hottub and it would only take 30 minutes. An hour […] and a half later it still wasn't filled back up. We also ate at the restaurant for breakfast and received the worst service ever. Actually, we didn't even get service - we literally had to help ourselves to EVERYTHING that we wanted. I didn't want the buffet and instead wanted to order off the menu. After about 15 minutes of sitting there I had to flag down a "helper" to take my order. We had to go to the buffet station to get our own water coffee and juice as the "waitresses" walked past our table every time. To top it off, when my food came, there was a nice piece of hair under my breakfast burrito. I'd recommend the hotel in general, just not the restaurant. And if you're planning on spending time in the hottub make sure to check the pool guys schedule! Lisätietoja

Very nice and new hotel with very comfortable rooms. Only complaint is the A/C units in the rooms is extremely noisy, more what I'd expect from a cheap hotel, not for this caliber hotel.

I am a big fan of the Courtyard Marriot hotels. Unfortunatelly this time around the room we stayed in smelled like mildew and bad body odor. Maybe it was just the room we got. A little dissapointed this time around. This Marriot is not walking distance to downtown SLO, so keep that in mind. You will have to drive if you want to go anywhere. I didn't […] mind that so much. i would for sure go back when i visit the san luis obispo area - other hotels in the area may be cheaper but are not as comfortable or clean. everything was new, pool and spa were great - ans the gym was clean as well. i had an early check-in and a late check -out without a problem. definitely the #1 in the area

Why in the world would a hotel this new still have one of those old-fashioned in-wall heater/AC units? Too loud! I have stayed at other Marriott properties that don't have this. I discovered that I could sleep by turning the system off and opening the room window for air. Not sure this would work in the cooler months. The bathroom was nice if a bit […] Spartan. The DirecTV was good but hiccupped a couple of times. The wireless internet was fine. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We came into SLO at 3 in the morning and the front desk checked us into our room. Upon walking into the room, we were hit with a pretty pungent smell. The desk clerk immediately changed the room and upgraded it for us. Our 2nd room was more than satisfactory. thanks for fixing things for us marriot! yvette

I travel on a weekly basis and have been for over 30 years, I dont really care if there are uniformed people at the front door when I get to a hotel. I am much more interested in my comfort and the cleanliness of the room that I am going to be spending limited amount of time in. Very clean, very comfortable, all the amenities in place. Great stopover point for our family drive up the Pacific Coastal Highway - great weather and great pool.

Comfortable hotel; decent king-sized bed, noisy A/C, not very convenient for proximity to town; we had a car so not such a problem for us. Good value for money though on the whole. Would recommend the hotel for an overnight stay to break up a longer drive, which we were doing.

Overall good hotel. Room kind of smelled funny and towels were not the best. Not much within walking distance. Great staff and nice pool. Beds were comfortable. I would stay there again.

poor sound insulations. you can hear people walking around upstairs or the shower noise from the neighbour's bathroom . they have an on site restaurant but never advertise it. local news magazines in the back of the lobby but none inside the guest room.

Had an enjoyable stay at the Courtyard. Couldn't ask for a nicer reception person at 11:00p.m.!

Comfortable, convenient.

The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and up to Marriott standards but the staff stood out as well trained and helpful.

We have been staying at Marriot properties all over the world for the past 25 years. We at dinner in at our Marriot property on our first night because we are accustomed to the food at Marriots being exceptional. Our food at our dinner was very below average and thereby very over-priced.

This Courtyard is probably the nicest place in town. San Luis Obispo is an older town with lots of little motels plus the Madonna Inn. The location is convenient, the staff is courteous and the rooms are spacious and well-appointed. The one thing I would have liked is Express Checkout - it's not offered here.

The staff were very accomodating and helpful. They provided maps, and directions. The only thing I didn't understand was the evening room service policy. I thought it stated open from 5:30-9:30 pm. However, at 8:00 pm. the kitchen was closed. Perhaps it was only during weekdays, and not on the weekend. I'll look more closely next time. The room was […] clean, and the bed comfortable.
