City Hotel Mercator, kaupungissa Frankfurt (Cultural Quarter) sijaitseva majoitusliike, on lähellä seuraavia kohteita: Frankfurtin eläintieteellinen puutarha, Zeilgalerie ja Pörssitalo. Lähistöllä ovat myös Nykytaiteen museo ja Frankfurtin katedraali.

Hotellin sijainti oli erittäin hyvä rautatieaseman lähellä. Kävelykatu ja kauppakeskukset olivat pienen kävelymatkan päässä. Metrolle parin korttelin matka. Baarialue on hieman kauempana toisella puolella jokea. Vaikka rautatieasema oli lähellä, niin hotelli sijaitsi rauhallisella ja siistillä alueella. Hinta oli erittäin edullinen ja henkilökunta todella ystävällistä ja englanninkieli taittui sujuvasti. Huoneiden taso oli vastaava kuin Sokos Hotels ketjulla juuri uusittuine kylpyhuoneineen. Huonekoko oli tosin hieman pieni. Käsittämätöntä oli se, että huoneen hintaan kuului ilmainen nettiyhteys ja aamiainen, jotka ovat monessa kalliimmassa hotellissa maksullisia. Suurin miinus oli ilmastoinnin puute, joka voi häiritä etenkin kesällä. Muuten erittäin suositeltava kohde jo pelkästään hinnan perusteella.

Hotelli on siisti ja huoneet ok kokoisia. Siivous ja aamupala toimii. Sijaintikin oli mainio käytännössä rautatieasemaa vastapäätä. Kaikin puolin hyvä hotelli. Oltiin tyytyväisiä.

Hotelli oli erittäin siisti ja viihtyisä, mutta sijaintiin en ollut tyytyväinen. Metrolla kyllä pääsi kätevästi keskustaan, mutta hotellin vieressä kulki todella vilkas katu ja rautatiet, joten meteli huoneessa oli todella kova niin yöllä kuin päivälläkin. Hotellihuone oli tilava.

A medieval old town on the river's northern bank, the Cultural Quarter contains Frankfurt's most important sights. Its heart is the Römerberg, with the 13th-century cathedral of St Bartholomäus and the gables of the Römerplatz. The 12th-century palace chapel is now part of the Historisches Museum. The house where Goethe was born on Grosse Hirschgraben is now a museum. The stock exchange is on Börsenplatz, with many upmarket boutiques nearby.

Good location, cheap. Just OK.
The room was clean and comfortable. Downtown and other intereresting locations were dry accessible by U-Bahn or foot. Not a lot to do in the neighborhood after nightfall.

This hotel is apparently a former (typical 1960's style German) apartment building in which apartments were turned into hotel rooms. This peculiarity is already a good reason to stay there. Plus, the rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, the location is convenient (walking distance to Zeil), the neighborhood is very safe (we had lived nearby for two […] years, so I know what I am talking about). Clean, good location (just 3-5 min walk to Zeil street), very strong wifi signal speed(but not stable, if you can not loading page, go to 2nd floor reset the router on the wall). But there will be no one at the front door after 11pm.

"City Hotel Mercator in Frankfurt, Germany - a nice"
I was visiting Germany for a combination of business trip and a mini vacation. I was being cost conscious, so looked for a good value. The hotel was clean and comfortable. It is in walking distance to the rail system, so it was convenient to all of Frankfurt. It was what I was expecting. It is a good value.

A very nice hotel, located off of the U5 tram line and is only two stops from the Alt Stadt, and the shopping district. The hotel can also be reached from the airport by taking the S9 subway and connecting to the U5 line at the Konstablewacht transfer station which is only one stop away from the Musterschule stop which is only 2 short blocks from the […] hotel. the hotel is small, clean and good value if you are on a budget. 5 minute walk to Zeil, the main shopping street in Frankfurt. Breakfast is a good deal or walk 5 miuntes to zeil to a Cafe or Bakery.

Great service, Very helpfull and friendly staff, great location and priced reasonable. Free wireless internet with good connection is a major plus.
Hotel is about 10 min walking distance from the city and is close to bus and train stations. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. It's not a fancy place, but our room was clean and quiet - everything we needed. They also have complimentary internet. Would definitely stay there again!

This hotel is basic, it offers the essentials and it has a very good price-offer ratio. It is very convienently located. If you want just a place to sleep that is safe, clean and neat, this is your place. They offer a breakfast buffet and if you travel with your laptop you can access their WIFI network. The hotel is in walking distance to the Berger […] Strasse so you do not have to venture too far at night if you do not feel like getting out. The rooms are small so if you want to spend lots of time in the room you want to look for another place. They have a fridge, TV and phone in each room. Im 3 Bett zimmer sehr eng, Anfangs war es nicht möglich einen 2. Türschlüssel zu bekommen, beim Wechsel in der Rezeption hat uns ein Mitarbeiter einen 2. SChlüssel von sich aus angeboten!

На пятом этаже номера со скошенной крышей и окна в потолке, у нас они не окрывались. поэтому взяли номер на 4 этаже с видом на улицу. Около отеля есть продуктовый магазин, но ассортимент скудный, больше хоз.товары. […] Персонал почьти весь русскоязычный. администратор Наташа приветливая и охотно помогает . "Bad katastrophal / Zimmerwände Renovierungsbed."
Das Bad war total abgenutzt, die Silikonfugen defekt und dreckig. Die Duschkabine war eine Zumutung. Das Hygiene-Siegel auf der Toilette war gelbfleckig.... Die Wände im Hotelzimmer und im Flur waren in einem stark renovierungsbedürftigen Zustand.

c'est surtout un hotel d'étape, pour des voyages d'affaires etc je n'y passerais pas une semaine mais bon l'hotel et la chambre était propre, les réceptionnises très sympas par contre à coté de l'hotel à 2 min à pied meme pas en partant sur la droite, il y a un petit resto italien "le POTOFINO" très bon, de vrais gros italiens et très gentils, essayez […] on s'occupera bien de vous.... Trevligt hotell, utan åthävor. Nära till stadens köpcentrum och sevärdheter. Frukosten OK utan att vara särskilt anmärkningsvärd.

Hôtel style années 70, assez petit, situé juste en dehors du tracé des anciennes murailles et à 15 - 20 minutes à pied du centre ville. les chambres sont petites, confort minimum mais suffisant. Certaines chambres sont mieux rénovées (douche plus récente). Seul inconvénient: carrelage dans les escaliers et les couloirs, parfois bruyant si les voisons […] rentrent tard!. Viajo bastante a Frankfurt y diré que calidad precio es de los mejores. He estado en 4* y han sido bastante peores y en este he repetido Suelos de tarima (mejor que moqueta polvorienta), baño con bañera, escritorio y cama doble con armario grande aunque sea habitación individual. Además tiene un espacio a la entrada separado de la habitación y el baño. Situación: […] Fenomental, al lado de Berger Str. y a pocos minutos de la Zeil, no es el puro centro pero son pocos minutos andando. Régimen: Sólo desayuno, no opino porque no lo he cogido Además: internet wi-fi gratuito Fallos: Mejor llévate tu propio champú, tienen una de esas cosas que vale para pelo y cuerpo, pero vamos, como lo tiene NH y en Frankfurt (a 200m de este hotel) te cobran hasta por internet en la habitación (y encima por cable!!) es hat kleinen eigenen Parkplatz;aktuell wegen einer Baustelle auf der Zubringerstrasse etwas schwierig zu erreichen.
