Argosy Casino Hotel And Spa - Riverside

Great hotel and casino! Loved the restaurants and bars. Came here with a group of friends and everyone had booked a room, so we were able to relax and enjoy the casino without the concern of getting folks home safely if they had had too much to drink.

Hotel rooms were nicely appointed, but I got a handicap room so water splashed on shower floor. Hotel was off the beaten path with nothing close by. Staff was very nice. Common areas had pungent perfume smell to mask cigarette smoke. Casino staff very friendly.

I had not intended to stay at a casino as this was a spur of the moment trip and I'm not much of a gambler. What a pleasant surprise though. Not only was the rate very competitive, the staff and room exceeded my expectations. The Rain Forest shower was a standout. My room had a panoramic view of the parking lot, but there are KC view rooms available […] as well. Nothing but positive to say in re.gard to the hotel. The rooms in my opinion were under priced. The Spa treatment was high but not unreasonable. We would highly recommend this hotel and spa and plan on staying often. The casino was less than pleasant because of the staff. Many had an issue with the command English. We spent the evening of the 14th at the Argosy Hotel & Spa....had a great room...very good service...and a wonderful steak & lobster special at the restaurant. Room shower was awesome!!

We enjoyed our stay. Everyone was friendly, even the housekeepers. The Room was clean.

It's out in the middle of nowhere. Had to drive a few miles just to find a Walgreen's. The room was fantastic and very clean. The area in and around the casino could have better ventilation to get rid of more of the cigarette smoke, but overall a very nice hotel and casino. My wife loved the 5 hrs she spent in the spa.

We had dinner at the Journey Restaurant and the food was delicious. Beautiful surroundings, too. It's a must try when at the Argosy.

One night stay for husbands late company Christmas party. Beautiful rooms. Showers are the best! Beds are so comfortable but top layer of mattress hold body heat and creates a furnace affect. Other than that perfect!

Everything about the hotel was 4-star. Great service, great room, very comfortable bed, great amenities. However, the restaurants and the casino left much to be desired. The casino is very small, cramped with people and filled with overwhelming smoke - not at all what we expected from this group. Hotel staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Hotel was clean, halls smelled nice and room was spacious, nicely decorated and quiet. Stayed on the 9th floor. Impossible to find coming from any direction other than I-635 No signage to help direct you until you are at the facility, then it doesn't really help much does it? staff starts slamming doors at 5am so if u are up gambling all night be ready for a very early wake up slam key card locked me out every day and needed to be re-set a real bother for 1 of […] the front desk staff too super 8 on the grounds is a much better value and shorter walk to the casino. $150 dollar non-disclosed check in incidental charge on top of room fare really hits a traveler's credit card. Very nice - better than expected - would help if u were a smoker, cause with the Casino right there - everybody smokes everywhere.

The location of the hotel is remote to most of the city. Signage into the complex is poor at night as headlights do not reflect off the signs. The Argosy is a nice place to stay. The room was very nice, roomy bathroom. The grounds and restaurants were exceptional.

I enjoyed my stay very much - one of the best places I go to for a great time.

Nice facility with spacious clean rooms. Emphasis is on the casino so the restaurant and main level hallways can smell of smoke. Check in bell service is non existant and parking is a walk to your room. Casino perks are nonexistant unlike those given in other casinos. Very nice hotel and staff.

Lovely rooms and restaurants are very good. Hotel staff are very friendly. Wish the rooms had microwaves to heat food. Was very disappointed that there was no free WiFi. You would think that a hotel with 4 stars would have that. We have stayed here several times and enjoyed it every time.

We had a wonderful time. The food was delicious at all three restaurants. Rooms are so comfortable. Wish the casino was less smoky but that is what it is. Great band too!

I was completely satisfied with my stay and would definately go back. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The restaraunts have amazing food also. Overall a great experience

The room was beautiful. The location of the hotel was not super convenient to much, but was right off the freeway so pretty easy to get wherever you need to go. The breakfast buffet was awesome! This hotel is ready to serve and makes you feel welcome. From check in to check out, staff were very friendly and helpful. The showers in this hotel are very special and unique. Must experience to understand.

Hotel is new and clean and attached to the casino. Hotel lacks any bell desk .. Self service on all baggage and parking. We stayed at the Argosy while attending a convention in downtown KC. Once we figured the best route to and from downtown, this was an amazing stay. The room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom was large and the walk-in shower was one of the best I've ever used. I can't rave enough about how wonderful our stay was at the Argosy. Besides […] being a little confusing to get in and out of, parking was a bit limited for "hotel guests." Stayed 2 nights and never left the property, food was great at every restaurant, buffet was surprisingly good and even did good in the casino.

Although the casino was not that impressive, the hotel was very nice. The room was excellent and had the best shower!!! I would stay there again if I'm ever in the area.
