"Beds too soft"
The mattresses were memory foam or just very mushy. Not my preference. The breakfast was ok but no meat. The second day they ran out of hard boiled eggs, whole milk and bananas by 8:00 am.

We go to the state fair each year and stay 2 nights. We had never stayed at a place that provides a kitchen in the room. We were very happy with the results. The room was clean and beds very comfortable. We like the idea that it is close to the cal expo even though we did drive over. We liked that we felt safe in the area and could find food and a grocery […] store (target) nearby. It helped save money. My husband cooked breakfast and we also ate in for dinner. We just like to relax in our room and let our twin sons play with their toys from the fair. Air con works great! It was hot outside. We would pick this hotel to stay at again, when we go to the state fair next year. oh, can't forget we bought ice cream at the front desk and it was priced right. overall a nice place to stay with a family. "Town Place Suites Cal Expo- Sacramento"
I was very lpleased with my stay at the Marriot Town PLace Suites. The Hotel was very clean, as well as the room. It was in a prime location, near lots of food, shops, entertainment, and the Arden Fair mall. It seems like a good family place, as well as a business or leisure hotel to stay at.

"TownePlaza Suite Marriot CAL EXPO"
We were very pleased with the hotel overall. It was very close to the CAL EXPO and we were even able to walk to the hotel after staying at the state fair. We were also able to get a free shuttle to the fair, if arranged in advance (not advertised, so ask!). We would have liked to have enjoyed the swimming pool (as it was 97 degrees), but it was tiny […] and filled with kids, so we skipped it. But, everything was neat and clean and the complimentary breakfast was great. Our only complaint was that at 7AM we couldn't get a newspaper to read with breakfast, so my boyfriend had to get in the car and drive to find one...the hotel is in a business district and there are no convenience stores nearby at all. "Nice and comfortable"
I'm usually quite easy when it comes to accommadations, as long as there was a clean bed and a shower I'm happy. This was proabably one of the nicest places to get for the money and I liked that they tried to provide some basic comforts in the room. I've stayed in some nasty places for the same or more amount of money. I liked how the design was very […] clean and simple, although I did get confused as to where the front entrance was since it was not obvious. The staff at this hotel was SO friendly and made me feel so welcome. I asked for directions to the nearest grocery store and they already had a printout ready with the directions to take with me. "Pretty Nice"
I had a pretty good stay here. Downtown was closer than I thought on Route 160 with a car, which was nice. Big room, nice kitchen, comfy bed. It's true the parking lot is a little small, but there's 3 Marriotts right there in the complex, so it's not like you have to go very far. Kinda boring area. I'd stay here again though.

It was a nice hotel for the price. Because it's new, I suspect the price the price will rise and eventuall it will not be worth the price but the moment it is and the staff are very friendly.

"Nice hotel - awkward area"
This is a suite hotel and probably serves that market, the extended stay business traveler, quite well. I was doing a single night quick stay. the hotel is wedged between a freeway, the American River levee, and some light industrial parks. There are NO consumer services within walking distance.

Hotel was quiet and clean. The kichenette was fully stocked with items for cooking.

"Great Hotel Bad staff"
This hotel was awesome had a stove fridge microwave and kitchen sink. great for saving money on extended stays or with a family. The front desk staff is less than useful. We went to the little shop they had to get ice cream and when we went to the counter the girl just looked at us we had to ask "can we pay for this" only then did she rudely tell us […] we had to come over to her part of the counter because she didn't want to get up off her chair. "Outstanding hotel, but...."
A great hotel whose stars should be higher. There was one problem: about 12:45 AM, the fire alarm went off emitting a near shattering tone that got progressivle worse. There was no sign of a fire on my floor, and managed to reach the front desk. The clerk sounded harried and said nothing was wrong and the alarm would stop very quickly. It did in about […] 30 seconds only to start again in another 30 seconds! After, I was so adrenalin charged that getting back to sleep was most difficult and I was not rested when I had to get up. I'm not sure how this happened or why. I've never experienced anything like this in a hotel. Next trip, I will ask for reassurance that it wn't happen again or otherwise, I'll want a refund. "Life's a hotel"
Hello, I have been traveling for business nearly all my career. I have stayed nearly 14 days per month every month since 1996. The negatives of the hotel are the parking, may have to walk from adjacent hotel (Marriots). Small pool. Good stuff clean, safe with security, close to the freeway. "key card problem?"
we stayed 3 nights, and everyday, by mid-day, our key cards would quit working. totally inconvenient. also, the receptionists treated us like we are vagrants,just because we are asian? i'm a doctor in sacramento for conference, and to be treated like we don't speak english or something is ridiculous. very rude front desk employees.
