It was fine, but like most Marriott's the breakfast was pricey. Also odd that the room had in-wall AC, as I can't remember any previous Marriott’s having that (I find them a bit loud compared to rooftop-type units).

The room was comfortable. We HATED the slamming doors...they do NOT close quietly no matter how hard you try! We were highly disappointed that we 1. could not get the discount offered at the other Marriott down the road for the All Star game event. 2. We were disappointed that we were unable to have adjoining rooms. The party across the hall the first […] night was ridiculous and we got no sleep at all, not to mention the constantly SLAMMING doors from both the stairs and other rooms. The staff was very nice, but very uninformed about events in the area and that would have been really helpful. Perfect location with proximity to univ of Dayton. Staff were all helpful. Great bar and restaurant.

The biggest advantage was the proximity of the hotel to UD. The location of the closet was unusual - next to TV. Probably would not stay there again - will try to stay @ a suite hotel.

The room was clean and comfortable. Very nice decor and tasty breakfast buffet. Pool was small but very well maintained. We went for my daughter's 12 year old birthday and actually thought we had booked a different hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised when we finally got there and settled in. The hotel was very clean and nicely decorated. The only drawback is the high priced breakfast not being a complimentary part of the stay like at many of the Courtyard's we have stayed at.

What a beatiful hotel. Loved the look of everything. Employees were great. Definately coming back.

If you have to travel to the University of Dayton, think of this place. Otherwise look for another place as there is no place for dining within a walking distance from the hotel. The room has an old-fashioned air-conditioner that is a noise box

This hotel is very nice and the staff is very nice, Its a newer hotel so everything looks great.

We stayed a couple nights and the service was excellent. The walls are a little thin and we could hear people fighting in the room next to us. The hotel and staff were excellent, we just had interesting neighbors.

The staff at the desk and in the bar & restaurants was very helpful. The key didn't work consistently, the room was way too hot, but otherwise, it was clean, comfortable, and attractive. If you want to attend a U of Dayton basketball game, you're in a great location. Otherwise, it is kind of isolated.

I frequent this hotel on business trips to Dayton, OH. I only stay here - excellent hotel, staff, and location.

Hotel overall was ok, my shower did not work. They did no fix it or offer anything for my inconvenience

Front staff extremely courteous and knowledgeable. Newer Courtyard. Easy access in and out to highway. Room was clean, bright, above standard. This will be the only place I stay in the greater Dayton,OH area.

Courtyard by Marriott Dayton-University of Dayton was perfect for what I needed during my stay. It was conveniently located near the highway and provided close access to neat areas of town.
