Hotelli sijaitsee keskustassa mutta ympäristössä on huonokuntoisia rakennuksia. Palvelu oli hyvä, ilmainen nettiyhteys, ravintola 7. kerroksessa, josta komea näkymä Akropoliille. Hyvä aamiainen. Kokonaisuutena hinta-laatusuhde oli hyvä.

Hotel was nice and new, surroundings were from another planet concerning the contrast. Shady people, even saw some people using drugs on the street next to the hotel. Witnessed a riot with clubs. NOT a romantic place to be, maybe with balcony doors shut.

Was in sketchy area of town. Decent breakfast. But still would never go again. You can find same value in better area.

We stayed at the hotel for four days at the end of October. We arrived at Monastiaraki station after a a short trip on the metro. Be very careful when on the metro as pick pockets work in teams. They crowd around you and before you know it zips on your baggage have been opened. The walk from the metro to the hotel takes about 10 minutes. It is during […] this walk that you realize that you are staying in an area blighted by graffiti. On arriving at the hotel we had a sigh of relief as the reception contrasts completely with the depressed state of the surroundings. Very friendly reception staff sort out check in and answer all our questions concerning the location of the hotel, impending strikes and local restaurants. The room is basic, very clean with a small balcony overlooking busy people going about their business . My only criticism would be that the shower in the bathroom does not have a curtain and water does get everywhere. Breakfast is simple with cereals, croissant, fruit and yogurt. Coffee is particularly good. The restaurant and bar are located on the top floor and the view of the Acropolis is unbelievable! Sitting on the terrace with the Parthenon illuminated was a highlight of the stay. Perhaps the bar could however be open from 4pm rather than 6pm. After a day walking around the city a late afternoon drink would be refreshing. Perhaps it is open earlier in peak season. The location of the hotel is excellent with easy access to all of the sites. Restaurant Tellis serves very tasty pork chops with salad but nothing else! There is no menu. The restaurant around the corner has a courtyard and all the food is cooked there and then. The pizzeria opposite the bakery is too expensive for what it is. The bakery has been established in the area for many years. The assistants are helpful and the pastries excellent. This was the best value hotel I found which was not too far from Plaka and the Acropolis. The receptionists were very helpfull with tourist and travel information. The area does seem a bit seedy as other people mention but not really a problem. Great views from the Bar/Breakfast area on the 7th floor. great staff, great location, a good place to stay when on a budget.

The hotel was really nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The view from the bar up stairs was great and the place was quite close to all the sites. Sadly Athens is not a nice place in general and so the street the hotel was on was awful. Packs of mangy dogs and the smell of urine were everywhere. The street was also covered in gangs of […] guys offering us drugs, 24/7. We didn't go out at night because we didn't want to be there in the dark. But to be honest everywhere is Athens is like this, unless you are willing to spend a lot of money to stay right beside the Acropolis. This is a nice, inexpensive and comfortable hotel in central Athens. The English-speaking staff are friendly and helpful. The inclusive breakfast is served on the 7th floor terrace which has a view of the Acropolis. At night this space doubles as a bar for hotel guests. Opposite the hotel is an inexpensive, popular taverna with a very limited menu - […] basically meats grilled over charcoal with salads and drinks. The only drawback to this hotel is that Evripides Street itself is not for the faint-hearted. However, that can be avoided by turning left out of the hotel to access the vibrant streets and squares of the much-improved Psirri neighbourhood. The hotel room was dingy and the surrounding neighborhood full of abandoned buildings. There was no shower, only a bathtub with a hand held sprayer. But the free breakfast was great and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. If you're only looking for a cheap place to crash this might work.

We had a really nice time at Evripides Hotel, located close to Monastiraki square. It was always clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The one drawback, was the neighborhood, after dark it got a little sketchy. But we never actually had any problems. Recommended for it's good value.

The other reviews were very good. The location was iffy but otherwise, a very good stay. The room looks crappy at first but it's actually comfortable and the staff is very helpful.

Our room was small but comfortable. And we didn't visit Athens to stay in a hotel. So for a place to sleep, it was very good. The hotel is only a five minute walk to all the tourist areas, which is nice. Unfortunately, the neighborhood is very sketchy. One night we heard shouting, looked out our window, and saw men chasing others with wooden lumber […] boards. One day we walked past a man shooting up, and I'm sure we could have easily found a dealer if we'd been interested. But except for very expensive hotels, this seems to be everywhere in Greece. If you're returning home after dark, know exactly how to get to the hotel. You'd not want to get lost. Lisätietoja

Streets surrounding were a bit rough, but we didnt have any problems, rooftop bar was really great, nice place to relax at the end of the day.

Hotellet var ok til prisen, har brugt det til overnatninger til og fra paros. et gennemgående træk for oplevelsen af f.eks morgenmaden i grækenland, er at at morgenmaden ikke er nogen oplevelse, specielt ikke på dette hotel, morgenkaffen blev brygget dagen før inden baren lukkede, og har derfor stået 7 - 8 timer inden den blev serveret, det samme gælder […] morgenæggene som vi kunne se stå klar omkring midnat. Hotellet var der ikke noget at klage over. Det var billigt, og rent. Ikke specielt hyggeligt. "Morgenmadsbuffeten" lidt skrabet. Kvarteret i "Little Chinatown" føles ikke behagelig at færdes i.

recomendaria hotel se estivesse em outro bairro, os arredores do hotel nao sao dos melhores, muito esquisito, parece perigoso a noite, dificil de chegar, poucos taxistas conhecem o caminho e ainda se perderam ate encontrar o hotel. Linda vista do hotel. breakfast +/-.

Rent og pænt hotel med et super personale. Perfekt beliggendhed til alle serværdigheder. Ligger lige på kanten mellem det pæne og "lurvede" Athen, men hvis man blot holder sig til de gader, hotellet anbefaler, er der absolut ingen problemer. Kan absolut anbefales.

Плохая окрестность но не далеко от центра. Лучше не ориентироваться на центр т.к. Это не то что мы желаем увидеть в центре.

Gode værelser med trådløst internet. Deres tagterrasse, hvor man spiser morgenmad og kan få en drink om aftenen er fantastisk, med udsigt til Akropolis og ud over byen.

아크로폴리스바로 아래 지하철역에서 걸어서 10분정도의 거리입니다 건물자체는 오래되서 조금 낡은듯하지만 청결도가 아주 좋아요 관리하시는분이 아주 깨끗이 청소해주셔서 좋구요 무료조식도 너무 맛있진 않지만 빵, 치즈,햄,우유,시리얼,과일,삶은달걀,커피,쥬스등 나름 여러가지 원하는만큼 드실수 있구요 아무튼 가격대비로는 정말 괜찮구요 단한가지 단점은 역지나고 호텔바로근처가 조금무서운듯... 흑인분들이랑 조금 무서운분들이 계셔서 밤늦게는 안다니시는게 좋을듯 하구요 그것만빼면 아주 괜찮습니다

Evripides Hotel ligger i et lidt snusket område, men til gengæld er det meget tæt på dejlige områder, som Akropolis og metrostationen Monastiraki, som kører direkte til lufthavnen. Skal helt sikkert tilbage til Athen og måske Evripides Hotel.

L'hôtel est sans charme particulier et très basique. C'est propre et le personnel est très accueillant. il est situé dans un quartier assez glauque, ce n'était pas très rassurant mais nous n'avons jamais été importuné, même le soir. En revanche, l'hôtel est proche des quartiers touristiques, des restaurants, des sites touristiques et d'une bouche de […] métro. C'est très pratique car nous avons pu faire beaucoup de choses à pieds. Nous avons eu de la chance car nous avions une chambre au 6ème étage avec balcon et vue imprenable sur l'acropole...très peu de chambres ont cette vue. Vi havde to dejlige dage I Athen. Hotellet ligger perfekt i gåafstand til alt, der er værd at se. Udsigten til Acropolis fra morgenmadstaressen er fantastisk. Området kan virke lidt rådt om aftenen, men hvis man bruger "bagvejen" igennem Psiri området er der overhovedet ingen problemer. Vi kommer gerne tilbage

Hotel is clean, staff friendly and at a very cheap price. But it is definetly not recommandble to go out in the neighborhood on your own after drak.

Nice hotel with an amazing view, but the location is very close to streets where people are standing on the street very late without a purpose .. some might be scared of that - so be aware. But the hotel is great compared to the low price.

A pesar que tiene una bonita terraza, las zonas aledañas se vuelve peligrosa por la presencia de borrachos, drogadictos y prostitutas. No se puede salir en la noche, solo hasta las 8 de la noche. Si llegan tarde del vuelo, es mejor llegar en un taxi.

Trevlig och vänlig personal men området är sliten och otrygg med många missbrukare på kvällarna. Utsikten var enastående på natten, hotellet i sig inget fel men omgivningen är inte bra.

the staffs are nice and helpful. it is convenience to the metro station but the surroundering is bad and not comfort. goodview at the restuarant .. can see the Arcopolis.. nice

Vi har lige for 3 gang været i Athen, og valgt det samme hotel. ligger lige midt og centralt for alt i Athen centrum og tæt på Metro station. Man skal være indstillet på at der er mange personer på gaden til hotellet , og området omkring. Vi har dog ALDRIG oplevet, nogen form for utryghed selvom det er mange med Danske øjne suspekte personer. selv om […] det til tider kan blive sent op aften/ natten. Som sagt er det 3 gang indenfor 3 år vi har været i Athen og det er ikke sidste gang. Og vi vil nok vælge samme hotel igen. Lisätietoja

As many others, I never book without reading through at least a dosing reviews. Luckily, this hotel lived up to all our expectations and even managed to exceed some. Great staff, great service, great room & breakfast (compared to what we actually paid) and the location was not bad either. Yes, it is a dodgy neighbourhood but we only walked there in […] the daytime - in the evening and night we walked around it and thereby avoided the "dodgy" people. Only a five minute detour so nothing we would not do again. All in all a great bargain for the price and definitely something to recommend. Please avoid the henna shop which is close to the hotel though - it is a scam and not a place you should spend your money :-) Lisätietoja
