Huoneissa on LCD-televisio , joissa on parhaat kaapelikanavat, DVD-soitin ja maksulliset elokuvat. "Best hotel, service & views"
El Conquistador is the best place to stay and be pampered. Their staff has to be one of the friendliest and eager to please. The views are breathtaking!

"Nice for a few days"
There is a lot to like here especially the staff and if you like lounging by the pool it's nice. We have two kids ages 8 and 6 and they liked the water park and the pools. Unfortunately, the lines out to the private island that start at 8am (for a ferry at 9am) remind me too much of real life. If you don't get there early, you have no chance of getting […] a seat with an umbrella or a bunch of seats together. The only beach access at the hotel is taking the ferry. We stayed in the Marina and there is a tram (they call it the funicular but it isn't any fun) that is the only way up and down. One of the 2 were down quite often, leading to more lines. If you stay in the Marina, make sure you ask for a room away from the Funicular as it is noisy at night. We had a good time, I did rate 4 stars so obviously these things weren't bad enough to outweigh the good parts. If you go, I recommend you walk to the little Marina off the property for lunch, dinner or a change of pace at night. Lisätietoja

"Most AMAZING hotel on the Island!!!!"
If you are wondering if this hotel is worth the price, IT DEFINITELY IS! First class all the way for everyone...including children. I will never stay anywhere but here and I visit the island many times a year!!! Most amazing and spectacular views...service second to none! You won't be disappointed.
during high seasons, you will find long lines at every restaurant. there are not enough restaurant options for a hotel this big. it can be annoying. also, everytime i have been there in high season, one of the two funiculars get broken, making waiting time to go either up or down as long as 45 minutes. staff prefers tourists to locals.

The hotel staff was exceptional, the accomodations, dining options and the las alos is great to get away from the crowds, great private island with awesome horseback riding and snorkling and beach drink and food service. I am definitely going back again. It would make a great honeymoon or anniversary or special occasion resort. The El Conquistador is a nice resort but it is not a easy to move around in resort. You have to take a ferry boat to get to the beach which is on a small island. To get to the ferries you need to take gondolas to the marina. They are broke allot and then you have to take a bus. You spend allot of time commuting just to get anywhere in the resort. Had a great stay at El Conquistador. While the grounds were immaculate, the bed comfy, the view amazing and the private island a dream, the loud screaming children in our wing were a downer. I would say the resort is much better suited to families or guests who don't mind hyper-active kids in the vicinity. "Excellent Hotel in Fajardo"
This is one of the finest hotels I have ever stayed in over more than 40 years of travel throughout the world. The 24-hour swimming pools are fabulous and the water park (open only during normal business hours) is even better! We stayed there for 2 nights with friends and family. I had a water view room and it was amazing. The room was very clean and modern. It had a nice size bathroom and a large balcony. The staff was very friendly. We left our toothbrushes at the previous hotel, when I called to see if they had any they were delivered to my room in 3 mins! "Needs updating but nice scenery"
The hotel rooms need updating and bigger/newer TV's. Its almost 2012 thus its a disgrace for a major resort to have 20" TV's and outdated furniture. Restaurants have Manhattan pricing without Manhattan vibe and close too early. Casino is a joke, 1 roulette table and no craps. Only 1 "Funicular" running is a disgrace also. "Everything you need is here."
We chose this resort for our destination wedding and were very pleased with our stay. We knew ahead of time that staying in hotels in Puerto Rico can be pricey. So to help save money, we purchased drinks and snacks at the nearby grocery store (which is brand new) and kept our things in coolers. We never had a problem with having the coolers at the pools […] or beach- it was great. I believe that as long as we weren't causing any problems, we were able do just about anything we liked. We also found that by asking around you can often get cheaper excursions from places other than the resort too. Stay at a beautiful place, just don't spend all of your money there! "The El Conquistator Resort In PR an OK stay"
In regards to other hotels in the area, El Conquistor has everything that you could need and/or imagine - at a price! You'll find the same beverages and food items solf for different prices throughout the resort which is a bit annoying. The rooms are clean, but not spot free. My shower was filled with a previous person's hair and who knows what. Staff […] was very respectful and kind. They truly are there to make your stay enjoyable. DO NOT RELIE ON A REFRIGERATOR - They provide a "cooler" and it barely cools anything. However, after going to the store, purchasing food and complaining several times of it spoiling, maintanence did bring us a refrigerator that worked. "El Conquistador- A Must for many, many reasons!!"
We were invited to the El Conquistador to attend a wedding onsite. From the moment we exited our airport transport we were immediately drawn in. Our bellboy helped us with our luggage, check in and a tour of the facility! Simply AMAZING!!! Once in our room in the Las Brisas tower (HIGHLY RECCOMEND DUE TO CONVENIENCE TO ENTIRE RESORT) we were greeted […] with above average accommodations. The room was clean, large and the bathroom was wonderful with the walk in closet. We spent the first of many days at the Private Palomino Island which was fantastic! I think the best part of the island was the fantastic bar staff! We were greeted by Wilma (HUGE SUGGESTION TO FIND HER AS SHE IS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE) and never waited for a cocktail or food the remainder of the days at the beach!! The water was fantastic, the beach was clean and there were many opportunities to play volleyball, swim, kayak, take out the wave runners or just bask in the sun on the comfortable beach chairs. We attended the wedding on the grounds with the magical ocean and landscape backdrop. It was so beautiful and the wedding planner kept everything on time and running smoothly. The fully catered reception on the hotel terrace was fantastic! The food was so delicious and again the wait staff catered to our every need!! If you are looking for a beautiful destination wedding getaway then this is the place!! The hidden gems of the hotel would definitely be the restaurants and bars in the main building above the lobby. The Strip House and Drake's Martini Bar were simply incredible. I didn't get a chance to check out the Italian restaurant but several in our group did and they loved it. A great place to get away for a martini and great dinner. I personally did not take advantage of the spa but a couple in our group took full advantage and were delighted with the service and facilities. The hotel and ammenities were great. I would recommend. However, the only thing I disliked is the long time it takes to check-in and check-out. For example, 11am is checkout time, so have more staff availavle to move the line in the lobby at that time. "Fabulous hotel1"
The hotel grounds were beautiful on the cliffs overlooking the ocean. The private island was easily accessible by boat, was gorgeous, offered horseback riding, water sports, plenty of snorkeling. The service we received in all parts of the hotel was outstanding! We felt like royalty. They went out of their way to make us happy. "Our Stay at El Conquistador"
This was my first time out to Fajardo, the town El Conquistador is in. It was only a 45 minute drive from San Juan. It was a top quality experience during our 5 night stay. My 4 year old daughter had a blast at the private beach island and the Coqui Water park. We will definitely stay there again soon.

What a beautiful hotel!!! Great room. Clean and the view from my balcony to Las Croabas, Vieques and Palomino Island was outstanding. Excellent hotel!
"The Hotel El Conquistador in Fajardo"
I must say that I was taken by surprize the beauty of the place. As a resident of Puerto Rico, I have the privledge to witness many gorgous sites on a daily bases. However I was struck at the beauty this hotel has to offer its guests. Guests of all ages will enjoy this hotel it's pools never close, it has a waterpark, a private island that a ferry takes […] guest, free of charge! Not to leave out the Casino, which I stayed play until 2:00 am. I came for a family wedding. Weddings to me are often boring, this one was an exception! As a public teacher I'm contantly stay at hotels around the island for business. Again this one set itself apart from the others. I'm planning on return very soon, I have to save some money though. The rooms need remodeling and better maintanance. Several broken walls and furniture. Also the noice level was high due to room repairs during stay. For the moment I would not recommend unless you see the room your'e staying.

The one weakness we were disappointed in was the food, it's not high quality and not a good value, but adequate. The staff could not have been friendlier or more customer-focused at this resort. And, the views of the ocean were fantastic. The food at all of the restaurants was not great, and was certainly overpriced for the quality. Our stay was during the low season, but the hotel became very busy and overcrowded over the Labor Day holiday weekend. The first thing I would say is not to get fooled by the pictures of this hotel...the pictures are staged perfectly but when you get there, there is a tiny lounge area, the rooms are small with dirty floors, no natural light. If you're looking for some quiet and relaxing place THIS IS NOT THE PLACE. They have loud music playing until about 2am, you might […] as well be sleeping at the lounge area, that's how loud it was. I stayed there with my 2 girlfriends, we are young and like to party, but it was even annoying to us. Some of the staff was very nice or really rude. We asked for 3 towels for the beach and they gave us only 2, when we asked for a 3rd, one of the owners/manager said right in front of us "no, they should be happy with that!!" We encounter a tropical storm while staying there, they slid a paper under the door with instructions, letting us know that water and candles were going to be given to the guests in case of a power outage....the lights did go out but no candles or water were ever distributed. "Beautiful but lacking in some things"
I liked everything but the fact that the ferry that takes you to their private island only goes out from the hotel till 3PM and brings everyone back no later than 5PM. The sun is not even down yet!

"Ok Hotel Tons of hiden fees"
Nice hotel could use some upgrades. The rooms are nice and well maintained.The common areas can use a some upgrades. There was a few additional charges that cought me by surprice. Parking was an additional $16 dollars a day and the hotel charges an addtional $22 dollars a day for mis. hotel fees.

My friends and I had a nice time at the hotel even if we only stayed one night. We are puertorrican locals and I will still say The resort itself is gorgeous with historic structure, and feels very relaxed everywhere you walk to. Every guest has access to their private beach, so we […] took the Ferry to Palomino(island).The waters were crystal clear, just amazing! Soft-loose sand, fish (even small sharks away from swimmers; we saw them by walking to another side of the beach). For food, we ate outside thehotel in Fajardo for cheap; had breakfast at a local cafeteria and dinner at a Criolle/chinese food place. Great food for less. Entertainment: We went to Palomino, 24/7pool and jacuzzi, walk the hotel, workout room, "elevator"dwn the hill(its not an elevator;hasanother name). Banana boat rental,kayaking,horsebackriding etc. There are many options in Palomino-just be sure to bring some extra$for them. If not you can always go sightseeing in Fajardo and nearbytowns: Ex. El Yunque rainforest, Rio Grande (~30 min), Monserrate Beach (~17-20min), Seven Seas Beach(3min), Lighthouse(4min), BIoluminescent bay kayaking at night (at Croabas 6 min). I definetly recomend it. "Missed a day on Palomino island"
Due to tropical storm Emily, missed a day at the beach. Would have been nice to get a day pass to come back and enjoy the island on a different day.

Very expensive, dirty lobbys on the fist floor. Poor maintenance on balconys even found a spider in my room. Two towels per room on the first day no towels at all on my second day. Had to pay additional money to enter the water park, $20.00 plus tax each kids and each adult.
