Hotels.comin asiakkaan arvostelu tammi 29, 2013Olin siellä 7 öitä, ja jäi hyvä fiilis paikasta. Mulla oli kaksoissänky plus oma wc/suihku ja hyvin kaikki sujui, huone oli kyllää pieni mutta en ollut siellä niin paljon. Aamiainen tarkoitaa kahvi ja muffinssi. Kulman taakse löytyy tyypillinen all diner joka oli tosi hyvä, ja starbucks tieteknin. Hyvä paikka, siisti hotelli, hyvät yhteydet kyllä minä suosittelen.

"Great location, helpful staff"
We really liked the hotel. The location made it easy for us to walk or take one of the bus lines to everything we wished to do. Nice hotel, friendly staff, quiet location, comfortable room. If not for the toe nail and dead bug on the carpet when I walked in the room, I would have rated the cleanliness higher. Location good for all the sights. Very close to Chinatown. Had booked a king double but we were told on arrival that they had all been sold and we were given a twin room which had two double beds. The hotel was in an ideal location, at the entrance to Chinatown and very close to shopping at all the upscale stores and Union Square. We had a double/double on the street side. I had read reports that the street-side rooms were quite noisy, but we didn't have a problem sleeping, even though we were there on the weekend. The only extraordinary noise […] was a garbage truck early one morning. The room was more spacious than I expected and very comfortable. The one small criticism I have is that they should have instructions in the room as to how to use the DVD player. The hotel was very comfortable. The staff at the front desk were very friendly. The location is quite good, though it's still a bit of a walk to Market Street. "Great Except..."
I had a generally great stay at Orchard Garden! Two issues I took with the place though: First, there was one woman at the desk who was rude both when I called to see if my room was ready for check-in and when I requested an extra half an hour for checkout due to a meeting that ran until the designated noon checkout time. She treated me like a child […] and was highly unpleasant. Second, the room was pretty small. Fine for one person, but quite cramped for two. Those aside, the rest of the staff was extremely accommodating and the room was clean and fresh. The location cannot be beat - a door down from Chinatown, great shopping, and a 10 minute walk to Washington Square Park. I'd stay again, especially if I didn't have to valet my car for $40/night! The restaurant, rooms, service and decor were all... ok. Nothing exciting, nothing special. It is LEED certified, which is why I stayed there. But it feels just barely LEED certified. The products are "eco" products, but not natural. The coffee is not fair trade nor organic. The restaurant and mini-bar snacks... are 1/2-way there. They don't live up […] to the name "Roots." We were greated at the door by Victoria, and she was so very helpful and pleasant, she gave us an upgrade to get us checked in early, suggested a great place to eat and tips on Chinatown. Everyone we dealt with were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and I like that it is an ECO friendly hotel. Although we had read reviews saying it was noisy, […] we did not notice this at all. The location worked out very well for us, close to the cable cars and Market St. for other public transportation, made it easy to get to where we wanted to go without always taking a cab. Easy to find, next door to gate into China Town. I was given choice of quiet room on 3rd floor or near the elevator. I would have preferred a higher floor, but took the quiet room. It was quiet. The room was too small for 2 people. Had to practically turn sideways to walk between bed and dresser. Nice pleasing renovation. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The bedding is scrumptious and calm-inducing. The location can't be beat-near Union Square, Belden Place, Chinatown and Powell St. cablecar. Excellent on several levels: location, room cleanliness, quality of staff, & price. The location is close to Union Square, Chinatown & the Financial District, which made a perfect choice for us. I was there for New Year’s. The Hotel staff was very helpful in all of our needs. Gave us directions and tips to where we wanted to go and suggested other great sightseeing places. The hotel staff was very helpful in helping us figure out the public transit system. Rooms were clean and rather large for San Francisco. The room had no street noise, which was great. The hotel was very comfortable, it include high speed wifi, excellent location, near to everything in downtown, is a small hotel perfect for meeting, business or convention travel. "Nice hotel, nice location, friendly staff"
Everyone was very nice, friendly and professional. The bed was wonderful! I have two comments; the coffee maker and coffee in the room is dismal. I was unable to figure out how to work the machine and the coffee was weak and terrible. Coffee machines are typically relatively easy to operate. The 2nd comment is that the newspaper was at the front desk, […] not outside the door. However, because the coffee was so bad, I found myself going over to Starbuck's every morning and picking up the paper on the way back upstairs. Overall, however, a very pleasant experience. Very clean, quiet and nicely furnished. Our room was bright and spacious enough for 2. Staff was friendly and helpful. The complimentary toiletries were of very good quality. I liked the free WiFi. My bed was really very comfortable and the staff were really friendly and helpful. I never tried the food as there was too much choce on the doorstep. "worst stay of my life."
We stayed here before a football game. The street is extremely congested and only a small space to pull in front of the hotel if its not full they don't have parking at the hotel they use a third party parking service expect 30-40 minutes if you try to.get your car out. When we left it took 2 hours to get our car because they lost our car we ended up […] being so late to our football game we missed the first quarter. Rooms are decent and clean but the location outside is dirty and several transients hanging around out side.
