Kaupungin Wien sydämessä sijaitseva Mercure Josefshof Wien on kävelymatkan päässä kohteista Theater in der Josefstadt, Wienin kaupungintalo ja Itävallan parlamenttirakennus. Lähistöllä ovat myös Luonnonhistoriallinen museo ja Burgtheater.

Hotelli on lähellä metroasemaa rauhallisella sivukadulla ja se on siisti. Äänieristys huoneissa on huono, mutta se ei haittaa, jos naapurit eivät ole kovin "meluisia". Hotellissa on todella hyvä aamupala. SUOSITTELEN

Hotelli olisi ollut vaikea löytää ellei ollut aikaisempaa vihjettä siitä että se sijaitsee hotelli Ibisin takana ja Ibis taas näkyy hyvin Westbahnhofille. Hotelli oli kätevästi lähellä kaikkea ja hinta/laatu suhde oli erinomainen.

Hotel Am Konzerthaus tarjosi erittäin miellyttävän yllätyksen: vaikka se on melko suuri ja se oli käytännössä kai aivan täynnä koko ajan, palvelu oli miellyttävää ja ystävällistä. Huoneeni oli erittäin kodikas, ja sinne oli mukava vetäytyä lepäämään. Aamiainen oli runsas ja monipuolinen, ja kaikki tarjottava oli tuoretta. Kaikki minulle tärkeät kohteet kuten Musikverein, Valtionooppera ja Theater an der Wien olivat kävelyetäisyydellä, samoin museoalue.

Näppärällä paikalla - rauhallinen kadunpätkä mutta sekä "metro" että ratikka lähellä- Hotelli siisti ja vailla häiriöitä. Huone oli tarjoushuone (ei saa peruuttaa) mutta ihan OK hieman "lang und schmal" ja vinoikkuna katossa(ylin kerros)Hyvät sängyt ja siisti kylppäri.Huoneessa oli vain 1 nojatuoli- toinenkin olisi paikaallaan. Ilmastointi toimi hyvin. Ärsyttävää […] taisi olla aamiaisen erillenen hinta á 15 e mutta lähellä paljon edullisia aamupalapaikkoja. Hotels.comsin varaus ok. Jos haluat edullisen mutta siistin hotellin, joka on kaupunkiin tutustumisen kannalta erinomaisella paikalla on Mercure Josefshof Wien loistava vaihtoehto. Sijainti kätevästi kahden U-Bahn-aseman välissä aivan suurimpien museoiden vieressä. Siistit huoneet, hyvä ja ystävällinen palvelu. Ainut miinus on aamiaisen hinta (15,00euroa/hlö/aamu), mutta […] aamiainen on kyllä erittäin runsas. Hotelli oli siisti ja todella helpon kävelymatkan päässä nähtävyyksistä. Myös metropysäkki oli vieressä ja raitiovaunu, jota oli helppo käyttää. Palvelu hotellissa pelasi ystävällisesti (taksi + kysymyksiin vastailut). Miinuspuolia kallis aamiainen (15e), jonka sijaan söimme mukavan aamiaisen lähikahvilassa (6e) ja meidän huoneemme ikkunat olivat vinosti […] seinässä (näkymä lähinnä taivasta ja kattoja). "Hotel Josefshof, Wien-loistava sijainti ja palvelu"
Huhtikuun lopulla 4 yön lomamme ( 2 pariskuntaa) Wienissä sujui hyvin, hotellissa loistava palvelu, mm. majoituksemme taso korotettiin varatuista tavallisista huoneista tasokkaisiin apartomentoksiin, joissa oli tilaa runsaasti. Kun sää vielä suosi, oli loma täydellinen! "Tyytyväiset porvoolaiset"

"Hyvä sijainti, pieni huone"
Hotellin sijainti oli hyvä. Keskeiset nähtävyydet olivat hyvien kukuyhteyksien päässä. Hotellihuone oli tosi pieni kahdelle. Onneksi mukanamme ei ollut matkalaukkuja, sillä emme tiedä, minne olisimme ne sijoittaneet. Ilman niitäkin kulkuyhteys oli huoneessa tosi ahdasta. Kirjoituspöydän, vaatekaapin ja sängyn luo pääsi normaalikokoinenkin vain sivuttain […] kulkemalla. Huone oli kyllä siisti ja sängyt olivat hyvät. Todella hyvä sijainti. Yhteydet toimivat. Kävälymatkan päässä kaikista keskustan nähtävyyksistä. Rauhallinen sijainti. Osa huoneista (ainakin priviledge huoneet) uusittuja. Aamupalalla kuohuviiniä. Lämmitti talvilomalla mieltä.

Hotellin henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällinen. Huoneessa oli karmean värinen kokolattiamatto, mutta muuten huone oli viihtyisä ja isohko. Aamiainen oli turhan hintava, joten söimme kahta aamua lukuunottamatta aamiaisemme muualla. Aaimiastarjoilu oli normaali hotelliaamiainen sämpylöineen ja jugurtteineen. Henkilökunta hymyili ja kyseli onko kaikki […] hyvin, sekä siivosi nopeasti pois tyhjät lautaset. Hotellilta oli lyhyt matka lähimmälle metroasemalla ja hyvät mahdollisuudet lähteä kävellen tutkimaan kaupunkia. Esimerkiksi Rathaus joulumarkkinoineen oli aivan muutaman minuutin kävelyn päässä. Hotelli oli odotusten mukainen - ei pramea, mutta siisti ja rauhallinen. Neljä tähteä on oikea luokitus hotellille. Hotellin sijainti on myös mainio, sillä metroasema ja raitiovanupysäkit olivat aivan lähellä hotellia. Samoin raatihuone suurine joulumarkkinoineen oli sopivan lähellä. Wienin keskusta ja nähtävyydet ovat tosin sen verran suppealla alalla, […] että mihinkään ei ollut pitkä matka. Matkan ajaksi kannattaa ottaa Wien-kortti, sillä julkisten kulkuvälineiden käyttö on Wienissä tosi helppoa ja siten pääsee tutustumaan kaupunkiin myös hiukan laajemmin. Enjoyed it very much. Especially the comfy bed and large tub. I brought some maps with me from the Internet but, they were not too helpful. Coming from the airport, Take the CAT to the city station. Get on the number U3 subway and take it to the U2, go to Rathaus Station and you are just a hundred yards away.

"A comfortable, mildly pretigious location"
Clean, classic, chic. A good hotel for our last two nights in Europe. Convenient to the U-Bahn, the English Theater, the Volkstheater, decent Greek and Viennese restos and two classic cafes--the Raimund and the Eiles. Also a Billa market. . We could have used a CD player and coffee maker in our room, which was well decorated and ultra modern in its […] plumbing and lighting details. An excellent Macintosh computer was available in the lobby. Service was polite and quite competent. This hotel is well priced and extremely well located for everything - sight seeing, shopping trains etc. Also has super helpful and friendly staff and comfortable rooms.

Everything very good except for the WiFi and the cost of the breakfast. On the third floor the internet connection it was very patchy and the cost of the breakfast was exorbitant. A professional and well run hotel in a very central location.

The hotel is fairly small and old. Though it has some basic facilities, and the breakfast is ok (though expensive) it really should not have a four star mark. Excellent hotel, especially for the location. All the main sites are within walking distance and the underground station is round the corner. Although we were very pleased with our room, we would say this was more a 3star hotel rather than a 4 star by British standard. Still, it was excellent value for money.

Very nice quite hotel in a very conveniently situated close to the main turist atractions of the city. However we did find that the breakfast was excessively expensive , asit was over double the price of a similar breakfast in surrounding cafes. The bottle of water supplied in the room was four time the price of an identical bottle in the local super […] market.. Being from England the one item missing from the room ,was the lack of tea making fascitites, only coffee.Which we do not drink. The hotel is situated very close to all the main attractions in Vienna. With walking distance to Rathaus, StaatsOpera, Stephansplatz through the Hofburg streets, and also close to shopping at Mariahilferstrassse, this hotel is worth a try. Two subway stations lies also close, and it's easy to move around Vienna with the sub. In the narrow alley, the […] noise from the streets are also less. "Good Location - Fair Price"
The hotel is near the museum quarter. Affordable price but nothing fantastic. My room was small but had a queen bed, patio, and two night stands. Would recommend.

"only a good location"
we stayed in the hotel for a week during the new year. when we checked in the hotel was overbooked and we were told we would be staying in the adjoining apartments next door. breakfast was very expensive so we ate out in the city. I don't know how the actual rooms look since we never saw them, however the apartment was large, clean but a surprise and […] slight inconvenience of the toilet being separated from the actual bathroom at the front of the hotel. we prefer small intimate rooms and were unable to watch tv and fall asleep in bed since the tv was located in the living room with cold worn leather sofa. however, the shower was large, towels were always stocked and shampoo and bathwash and soaps always stocked as well. the location was near the new year entertainment and some of the sites however a good 20min walk to anything else or more. when we arrived in the room we asked the clerk who had accompanied us some questions regarding breakfast and the stay and she just kept saying to ask reception. I felt it a little rude. anytime we spoke with reception we both felt the desk clerk would rather be doing something else and had a small issue with the taxi that we were waiting for. other than that the stay was pleasant and the city is big and gorgeous. "Glad we stayed there"
Convenient for the Rathaus U-bahn, making it easy to get to all parts of the Inner Stadt. We decided to upgrade to a privilege room, and are glad that we did. It was the best sleep we had on this trip. Wonderful location on a quiet side street.

The hotel was an excellent choice near Rathaus U Bahn station and quite at night. Plenty of places to eat and drink and also walking distance to all the top attractions.

This hotel was located very close to the main Christmas market in Vienna. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. There were some good restaurants in the neighbourhood and there were 2 underground locations in very short walking distance. The hotel is somewhat convenient, but the staff is not helpful and some were just rude. When asked where we could find the closest Catholic church, the guy at the desk sent us off in the absolute wrong direction, same thing with breakfast. We asked where we could find a simple breakfast (not wanting to pay the 15 Euros they want) he said there was nothing […] open, only to find a charming cafe around the corner with good coffee and friendly wait staff. "Terrible service and WiFi non existent"
WiFi is terrible at hotel. Had three encounters with staff who said nothing was wrong, but then admitted the contrary and said there was nothing the could do. Sent a bottle of red wine to room to apologise but still didn't fix problem. We stayed in a premier room. Pillows rather uncomfortable.

My wife and I stayed at this Hotel for three nights in late October 2011. The Deluxe room was very clean and well maintained. The shower was full size (unusual for Europe). The location is ideal - only 3 blocks from the Rathaus and Parlament. All key inside the "Ring" sites are within comfortable walking distance. Also, the #2 Tram stop is just around […] the corner and convenient. While newly remodeled, the hotel has some charm (does not feel like a business hotel), is in a quiet location, and super convenient. - I think this hotel is not well maintained, the furnitures (eg wood desk, chair) looks very old. The wooden floor also looks old and there were some scratches. I also saw some stains at the corner of the shower. -location was quite good, near to the underground station - The shampoo and shower gel were not replenished after house keeping! The hotel is situated close to underground making it easy to get around. Nice parks, a short walk to lots of attractions and shopping. No in room tea facilities and internet access ok but not the best.

This hotel is just a few minutes walk from the Rathaus tube stop and just a 10 minute walk from the museums or 15 minutes from the city centre so the location is brilliant. The rooms were as you would expect, clean and well furnished but a little hot. The buffet breakfast seemed dear at 15 euros and there are plenty of nearby places to get a much cheaper […] meal so I wouldn't bother with this. The staff at the hotel were wonderful, very polite and extremely helpful. Pros: Hotel was clean, well priced, conveniently located and generally comfortable. Room service was affordable and grocery stores were near by to pick up little snacks and beverages. Cons: there was quite a variance in the oral English capabilities of the staff so some individuals came off as quite rude.

The bed was VERY comfortable. The bathroom was gorgeous and exceptionally clean. The door to the bathroom was a Klimpt image--stunning! I loved the espresso machine in the room and air conditioner as well. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was close to all the sights without being in the tourist crush zone. Will recommend this hotel […] to anyone travelling to Vienna, and will stay here again!
