Hotels.comin asiakkaan arvostelu helmi 26, 2013Erinomainen sijainti liikkua junalla ja metrolla. Helppo ja halpa matka hotellin ja JFK:n välillä (n.45 min, 7,5 USD). Manhattanille n. 10-15 min metromatka. Hotelli siisti, huoneet tilavat ja hyvin toimiva siivous. Aamiainen perusamerikkalainen eli kaikenlaista pullaa löytyy. Bonuksena aamiaishuoneen kuumahuoma-automaatti, joka on käytössä pitkin päivää. Ruuhka-aikoina liikeenteen melua. Viereissä Mobil-huoltamo, jossa pieni sekatavaramarket. Seuraavassa korttelissa viinakauppa, pesula ja Deli. Lähin metroasema Queensboro Plaza (200m).

Hyvä hinta- laatu suhde. sijainti oli aivan loistava ja mikä itselle tärkeintä huone siisti eikä torakoita tai muita vierailijoita ilmaantunut. Toki huone oli erittäin pieni ja remontti vähän sinne päin tehty, mutta oikein siisti ja tyylikäs. Remontti oli vielä kesken, mutta huoneeseemme 20. kerrokseen siitä ei ainakaan häiriötä aiheutunut. Ystävällinen henkilö kunta.

We had 2 queen size bed and the room for four was big enough to overnight, but if you are going to spend more time in hotel room, four might be too many. This hotel is perfectly located when visiting MSG. We also walked to Empire State building and to Rockefeller center, but some could find this walking distance too long. There is a very delicious breakfast available next to lobby at $18, which we enjoyed both mornings. The hotel price was reasonable.

overall the stay was good. The check in proceedure and room accomodations were great. I thought the breakfast hrs. ending at 9:30 were a little short and they didn't replenish the food regularly. I arrived and was trying to get a meal with no car of my own. There were no takeout menus in the room, and the guy at the desk didn't have much to go by either. "Very Cozy Stay!"

"Business Trip"
The hotel is OK. Clean,and decent location. I got a room on the street side (US rt 1) and the road noise is quite a lot. if you are used to sleeping in quiet surroundings or are a light sleeper, these rooms are not comfortable. "Convenient...."
Nice, adequate hotel. Breakfast was a carbohydrate load..... but adequate for price of hotel stay. Excercise room was small but good. "Very loud A/C unit & soaking wet floor"
We have stayed at this hotel many times in the past because it is very close to family that we visit. We stayed 2 nights and then returned a few days later after a trip down the shore. This trip was a bit disappointing... First room had a VERY LOUD air conditioner that kicked on every 3 minutes. I had to where ear plugs to sleep. The next room had an […] awful odor when we entered and 1/2 of the floor was soaking wet from an apparent A/C unit malfunction. They did accommodate us with a replacement room, though. However, surprised that they did not offer an upgrade for the inconvenience. Very brown bananas one day, no bananas the next, and no hot water for tea on another. Great service, nice buffet breakfast, comfortable room, great showerhead-felt like standing in the rain (which I like). The hotel had everything we needed: clean room, small refrigerator and even a microwave! Good size bedrooms and wifi! The hotel also had a small gym and a pool. Good room, reasonable price, conveniently close to Newark airport from the south. Clean, nice touch with the little bag of goodies and water at registration. "Very nice, but soundproof those walls!"
This hotel was lovely, friendly staff, beautifully appointed rooms. The granite bathroom was an unexpected luxury, as was the "goodie bag" of snacks and bottled water I was presented when I checked in. The only complaint I have is the complete lack of soundproofing. Great little hidden gem on a main street. Rooms were nicely updated and comfortable. Very welcoming employees. Newspaper, Wi-Fi, and breakfast were all wonderful. THE ROOM MY WIFE AND I HAD IN THIS HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS IN AVENEL, NJ, MUST BE THE ONLY ROOM(213) WITH NO BARRIER BETWEEN THE WALLS. "Just what I was looking for!"
My boyfriend and I stayed here on New Year's Eve and attended a party at a local bar. The service at the hotel was excellent. We were quickly checked-in, informed of the hours for the free continental breakfast, and provided a party pack with snacks and water bottles. The front desk was helpful in calling a taxi for us as well. The room was much larger […] than I expected. Everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I would gladly stay here again if the need arises. The only negative is the surrounding area. The hotel is located right on US-1 and not in the most picturesque area, so it is probably best suited for business or visiting people/attractions in the local area. There are not enough stars for this hotel! The staff was courteous, friendly and efficient. The hotel is new and in in excellent condition. I felt like I was in an exclusive "grand" hotel. "ONLY AVERAGE"
