Tulimme junalla n.22:00 keskustaan, jossa ei ollut ainuttakaan bussia tai taxia. Soitin hotellille, koska ei ollut aavistustakaan, missä se olisi. Respa (mies) vastasi minulle englanniksi, että sorry, yksikään taxi ei suostu tulemaan teitä sieltä hakemaan !!!???? Ystäväni oli käynyt hotellilla päivällä varauksemme kanssa, joten hän tiesi, että olisi […] kuljettava pimeässä valtateiden reunoja. Hotellihan todella oli in the middle of nowhere. Shuttle kulki kai 19-21 illalla, siinä kaikki. Olemme tottuneet CDG kentältä saamaan kuljetuksen hotellille hyvinkin nopeasti. Soitin uudelleen, jolloin respa lupasi toimitta meille taxin. Odottelimme 10 min...ei mitään..soitin taas. No kohta tulee. Saimme shuttlen näköisen kuljetuksen ilman siis mitää taximerkintöjä. Matka kesti näin 3 minuuttia, ja maksoi 20 € !! Olemme myös tottuneet käyttämään taxia Pariisin keksustassa, joten tulimme siihen tulokseen, että turistia hyväksi käyttäen, respa ja kuljettaja saavat mojovat lisäansiot ikäänkuin oheistoimintona. Aamiainen oli vaatimaton. Ajattelimme mennä uimaan edes hieman rentoutuaksemme. Uima-altaan vesi oli sumeaa, joten jätimme senkin väliin. Ja kysympä vaan, mikä SPA-hotelli se on, missä ei ole saunaa...vain likainen uima-allas. Höpöhöpö. Olen käynyt vuoden aikana Pariisissa 14 kertaa. It took us a while to commit to a hotel outside the city but after our stay at the paxton we were glad we did. Service could not be faulted and free shuttle to train station where Disneyland was only 5 minutes away and paris 20 mins the other way. Breakfast was good with everything we needed. Definitely not 4 star. Good points - abundant parking, near to disney land and just in the outskirts of paris, clean and average comfort. However the service is very poor. No proper pleasantries and felt like they are doing a favour instead of a service. I misplaced my wallet in the car park and approached the reception to ask them if anyone had handed […] over, the response was surprising. They brushed it off and did not show any interest in assisting me. Thankfully I found it myself tracing my way back to the car. I should give them credit for waiting patiently beyond the breakfast timings as all the visitors were tired and wanted to have a late breakfast (probably due to Disney and kids). The attached restaurant's ambience was good, but food was worse. No change in the breakfast menu, so if you are staying there for a couple of nights, you will gradually grow out of the idea of having a nice breakfast. Overall if they improve the service and certain aspects of their provision, it could be better. Also avoid the recommendations from the receptionists for local eateries. I thought the hotel was very clean, stylish, comfortable and in a really good location. The italian restaurant was excellent and the bowling alley is good fun. The only problem we had was that the consumer unit in our bedroom (Room 104) buzzed all night long unless you actually took the key card out of the holder but then you could not watch TV in bed. […] Other than that it was a lovely comfortable room. We loved the hotel, and it was terrific, but it wasn't extremely close to Paris, and there was not much to do in the area of the hotel, but we would recommend it to anyone. Free parking, free wi-fi, great value.

Paxton resort was clean, comfortable and affordable. Great on site facilities. The pool was warm, spa was excellent and the surrounding area was lively. Great if your travelling with kids and want to visit Disneyland which is close by. Breakfast was also good. If you want to getaway for a weekend Paxton is recommended.

The hotel does not do hot breakfast and the pool has cold water. it was also too deep for young kids. The sauna and steam room are also chargeable. I would not recommend this hotel for families.

I found the staff at the resort pleasant, but at the restaurant next door the manager was rather unpleasant. the bar in the lounge was also rarely open.

It was a wonderful experience really nice, friendly and helpful staff. If I have to mention anything negative then I would say that access to station was bit of an issue with small kids as the hotel shuttle only runs for 1.5 hours in morning and evening and outside these hours the only other option is a cab from hotel which is really expensive infact […] rip off. Free shuttle bus service provided by the hotel was very convinent. Spa staff were amazing and receptionists were helpful. The restaurant next door was also good. Food slightly overpriced but it is a hotel restaurant after all. The only thing that I they could improve is getting room service! Although the physical side of the hotel was ok, the service at breakfast was terrible - big queues to be seated and eventually when we did get a seat there seemed to be a shortage of basic things like bowls for cereal, and not a fork to be seen! I appreciate that breakfast time can be busy but they should be prepared to deal with this.

I've stayed at this hotel once before, and although the hotel is very nice, the staff are not as pleasant. On arriving, the reception staff seemed uninterested and don’t greet you as you'd expect, just simply ask for your booking name and send you on your way, it doesn't feel very personal. The room is a good size, bright and clean and the pool is […] very nice after spending the day in Paris or at Disney. There isn't much to do in the surrounding area as it's more residential apart from one other hotel. We actually ended up going to the other hotel which is opposite in the evening as they had a good sports bar and bowling alley, so there’s was a bit more to keep you entertained of an evening. The nearest train station is Bussy St. George, which will take 30mins to get into central Paris. To get to the station from the hotel it would take 30+ mins to walk or 5mins in a car. The hotel do provide a shuttle bus to the station, although we were informed the bus doesn't run on weekends, only to find it was sat outside the hotel on the weekend and the bus driver was more than happy to drop us at the station?! In all, I think I would consider staying at a different hotel next time. We wanted something outside or central Paris so I would recommend Val D’Europe which was 1 train stop down. There is a lot more to do in the evenings around that area with numerous restaurants and a very good shopping/outlet centre, plus it's closer to Disney. Lisätietoja

Great hotel, helpful staff and a lovely hotel. Only 2 things could make it better no sofa bed & my daughter who is nearly 3 was too big for a cot. Also lovely kitchen but no pots, pans or kettle, which made it hard to make up bottles for my 6 week old baby!

Stayed with 7 year old daughter. Great enjoyed the swimming and the bowling next door. down side nowhere to eat at the hotel during the day had to walk to Mcdonalds 5 mins away. The shuttle to the town only ran during the morning until 10.30 and after 7pm-10pm

We booked this hotel as near disneyparis and much cheaper. We went by car and it was very easy to get to. We also used the nearby train to go into Paris. The other way and 2 stops and you are at Disneyland. Staff told us a good place to park our car near the station. The hotel I believe offers a shuttle service. We had a fantastic stay. I stayed in the hotel with my family. We had our own transport. The hotel is located just off A4 motorway that goes to Paris on one side and Disney Land on the other. The hotel have helpful staff and at reception are all too happy to explain things in English. Fittings and furnishings in the rooms to a good standard, and the provision of a hotplate microwave and sink was most useful.If you are booking here and intend to use this facility, it makes sense to bring your own saucepan, plates and cutlery otherwise you […] have to pay a hire charge for these items. THe layout of the hotel is slightly strange in that to get to the breakfast room, you have to walk a long way to the end of what must be the longest corridor in the hotel, to then ride the lift, which holds max of around 8 people, up one floor. Bizarrely, there is no other access to the restaurant! We did not try the restaurant for eating, nor the swimming pool which is free to guests, but it did look very inviting. As a stop-off for visiting Disneyland, it is hard to beat as prices rise when you get nearer to the Disney complex itself, and this was less than 10 mins by car, or 3 stations on the railway. The station is also fairly near to the hotel; maybe 15 mins walking; we left the car at the station on the occasion we took the train into Paris itself (about 40 mins), but during the day the hotel runs a free shuttle service. Overall this hotel was okay, close to Disney and easy to find. Our non smoking room smelt badly of smoke and the staff were not approachable. There were no in room amenities such as iron/kettle etc. (the usual things you might expect from a four star hotel/spa). The spa facilities were lovely and the pool was okay. Room was unusual, but good, kitchenette, sofabed and bathroom on the ground floor, with a king size on the upper floor. Room was really really hot on the upper floor, despite turning the heating off! Overall fairly nice hotel though

The hotel was clean and had friendly, bilingual staff it was close to Disney park and not too far from Paris central (by car) about 20 min drive. we had breakfast which was mainly continental and cereals but we enjoyed it. A wee bit apprehensive after reading other reviews, however, delighted in every way. Warm welcome from very helpful staff. We had requested a double and a twin, these we got and the hotel made sure that the rooms were allocated together, as my 16 year old son and his friend were with us. The staff also made suggestion or ordering pizza in case the food […] in the hotel wasn't to the boys fancy! Due to our timetable, we didn't eat in the hotel, but the rooms were immaculate, great size and very clean, comfy beds, great shower, I suppose most folk were using the heating, it being October, however, the boys used the aircon, coming from Edinburgh we aren't used to such novelty gadgets and were happy with the fully opening window! The boys had been put in an end room, which the neighbours were probably thankful for - boys will be boys and they could play their computer games on the television, most probably into the early hours. We had seen a few reviews for this hotel complaining about the location, we had our car and it was perfect, a shortage of parking places one night, due to building work, but the cars were parked all around the hotel, and everyone had been courteous in their parking, so no probs - and the parking was free. Only a few minutes from Disneyland, and our main reason for choosing the hotel - we popped over to the Disneyland village on the second night and had dinner at Planet Hollywood, a treat for the boys, however after a day at Park Asterix, the french theme park about 40 minutes drive from the hotel, they decided come with us to Paris -instead of Disneyland for their second day- we were flabbergasted! Only 30 minutes to central Paris, the hotel is two minutes drive from the station, which would have been really handy, but no visit to Paris is complete for my hubby without half a dozen spins around the Arc de Triomphe! Convenient location for both Paris and Disneyland and shuttle to and from train station was very useful. The room was very pleasant although the bed settee was not particularly comfortable and had no extra pillows and the room, especially the mezzanine got extremely hot at night as there did not seem to be any air conditioning. No cutlery or crockery […] is provided but you can hire this for what seemed a particularly over-proced daily rate for the bare minimum of uitensils, some of which was still not fully provided even after additional requests. We would not advise using the restaurant as it was extremely over-priced with a limited and inflexible menu and what was little better than microwaved bar food provided on the children's menu. One waitress in particular was just plain rude and the food was not a lot better than average although the impression given was that we were lucky to dine there - believe me, we weren't and ate anywhere else after the first night. Family of four stayed for a week whilst visiting DLP. Very clean on our arrival and continued to be during our stay, maid's in every day, changing towels, hovering, making beds and cleaning the bathroom. The kitchenette was compact with plenty cupboard space, the hob didnt work for us but that wasnt a problem as the microwave is good. It also has a […] normal size fridge with small freezer on the top. The staff were very polite and courtious, spoke very good english too. (Found that trying to speak a little French is appreciated! Simple hello and goodbye!) The hotel also has a indoor pool, which is a bit chilly but the area it's in is very warm, never tried the sauna but that looks nice too. Taxi service that the Paxton use's is very good, plush cars with suited drivers! Very reasonable too, 10 Euro to Bussy St George RER station. The Paxton also run a very good suttle service to the station but only between 9:30/11am and 7:30ish/9pm, there is no taxi service from the station and the bus stops after 9:30ish (number 22 from the restaurant side of the station goes to the Paxton) There is also a supermarket at the station which is very reasonable, and a larger shop to the side is a bit like our supermarkets. Disney is literally 6/7 mins away from Bussy St George RER and costs approx 6.90 euro for 2 adults and 2 children under 10. A taxi from Disney cost's approx 30 Euro to the Paxton. So all i can say is we had a fantastic time at the Paxton and Disneyland and cant wait to go again!!! Lisätietoja

If you're going to Disneyland Paris, be aware that this hotel does not offer any kind of shuttle service to the park. The shuttle that does take you to the nearby train station (at very reasonable 10 min intervals) stops working as of 8:30 PM. Our four night stay was reasonably good. The location is pretty good if you have a car. Otherwise, no. The kitchenette was adequate, but you need to ask for cuttlery, pot and pans (small surcharge). Das Hotel ist sehr übersichtlich und gut zu finden. Es liegt direkt an der Autobahn-Ausfahrt. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden und kostenlos. Unser Zimmer war von der größe gut, mit Doppelbett, Flachbild-TV und Fön. Außerdem Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle. Die Sauberkeit war im großen ganzen in Ordnung. Leider gab es zwei drei Stellen die nicht ordentlich […] gesaugt wurden. Hier lagen noch Haare. Das Personal ist nett.
