Hotel is poor of maintenance. Shower did not work. Not clean. Gives a very unsafe feeling. Relatively high priced. WiFi works well, but this can not compensate the overall bad condition. Basic requirements for cleaness, service and safety are not met! Not to recommend!

The reviews told me that it won't be an awesome place but I wasn't prepared for the claustrophobic nature of it. The building is SO old it actually gives you the feeling of living inside a pulp novel and makes you look at all other people renting there in a different light. Miniscule bathrooms and absolutely no natural light gave the feeling of a dungeon. PROs: --service […] was not too bad, I asked for a different room because the one they gave me was in the corner and had NO natural or artifical lighting (4 practically fused bulbs increased the gloom), and they downgraded me to a 1-bed place with 2 windows and ample sunlight, for which I am grateful (despite it being a long weekend etc.) --The microwave and the fridge work. So does the AC. CONs: --Not clean enough for a small baby, we had to be extra careful he won't pick up stuff from the floor. --Carpeted or not your feet end up dirty if you go barefoot on the floor. --Spiders galore in the room without any light. The windowed room was better. --Bathroom is like a closet, a PAIN with a baby --Everything id so worn down its comical. Thankfully we were not there for long. Overall: Maybe it is the location (3 miles from Marina del Rey) that they are charging for, but still it is nowhere close to worth the large amount I paid to stay there for 2 nights (despite booking late for a long weekend). First thing you notice about the room is its big, but that's about it that's good, the floors were so filthy with in one hour of being there our socks were black on the bottom, the toilet leaked and the bathroom wreaked of mildew. The towels were very thin and scratchy, and there wasn't very many of them, and you could not ask for more, you had to wait […] for house cleaning to give them to you, and you might end waiting until 5pm for that. The hot water ran out really quick. Well this last thing you might consider a good thing or a bad, if you have small children its bad. When we hooked our A.V. adaption box, so we could hook up our Wii, We got free adult movies on the TV while the Wii was powered off. There was bus stop right across the street that took right down to Venice beach, that was cool since there was nothing of interest around, even the nearest 711 was 45 minute walk. the worst thing of all, the last night we there, my wife had to smack a flea of her foot while we sitting there watching TV. We don't own any pets so we no we didn't bring it with us, its like the age old saying, "you get what you pay for". I feel like we payed to much for what we got. Lisätietoja

Stayed here for the LA marathon. Checked in a bit early and our room wasn't ready when we got our key. Went in the room and 1 bed wasn't ready and the white sheet had a bloody hand print on it!!! It makes you wonder what kind of people stay here. We asked for a different room and got a room with non-working TV and the hot shower was slow to get hot. […] We were worried the whole time and didn't sleep very well. We also heard our upstairs neighbor walking around. If you have no kids and just want to get through the night, this motel is very cheap for being close to the Santa Monica pier. We have arrived in the late evening and quickly checked in. I was surprised that I had to pay for the room even though I gave all of my credit card information to hotels.com Parking was small and limited and had to park on the street. I have received a disabled room and it was in a very poor condition. The ceiling was falling apart and some of the outlets […] were hanging outside the walls. Many things were broken and some lights would not turn on. The bed was comfortable but it had old stained sheets on it. location was close to Santa Monica but resembled an industrial zone. Customer service was Ok and I have no complaints. We could hear some people talking and walking on the top floor, but no major noise. It seems overall that the room was clean and good enough for one night sleep, but I wouldn't recommend to stay there for a long term. Lisätietoja

this hotel was a decent hotel at a decent price. The rooms were clean and the beds were reasonably comfortable. the room service was spotty and on a couple of occasions, didn't clean very well, and didn't leave towels. minor inconvenience. overall a good experience.

Needed somewhere to stay between LAX and Venice Beach and this probably wasnt the best choice location wise as there isn't much around. Host was nice enough but stuggled to pick up my Australian accent. Room was pretty dark, floors were average and my bathroom window was very flimsy. Overall ok stay but I would recommend looking elsewhere
