"only place to stay with I-80 closed"
I was very happy with the hotel room. I was comfortable. Very happy with the coupon to eat breakfast at Penny's Diner. The price for the room was steep. But what else could be done with the closing of I-80 due to black ice.
"Easy, Cheap, and Comfortable"
Checked in, ate dinner (with a discount provided at check-in), and went to my room. It was a great experience, and the room was clean and comfortable. If I have to stay in Rawlins again, I will most likely stay here.

Great little place for a road trip stop-over. Diner was good for breakfast as well. Very good property with micro-wave and fridge. Supermarket across the road.

"Nice in rawlins"
At first I was confused because there was no office and the checkin was at the diner but that is where the negatives stop. Room and building were in very nice condition. Quiet area with enough around to make things nice. FREE breakfast at the diner was a great bonus! Better than bagels and stale muffins at most hotels.

Great place to stay. Beds were comfortable; Nice, clean and quiet with a good breakfast. Really would be hard to beat and the price was excellent. I would definitely stay again.

"Nice place!"
Checking in at the diner was no problem, (We had read other reviews so we knew where to go) Room was very nice, clean, comfortable. You get the choice of free breakfast or $7.75 off any meal, per person. So we used it for dinner as we wanted to get an early start. Great food, fast but the waitress, Hispanic lady, was not friendly. Oh well guess everything […] can't be perfect! Would definitely stay there again. Lisätietoja

"Different and Fun"
My stay in Rawlings was fun and interesting. I got in late so didn't see much but had intended to stay in Laramie. I'm glad that I made it to Rawlings instead. This hotel was very nice as was the area it was in. The best part was the breakfast in Penny's Diner the next morning. The staff was attentive and friendly and the food was excellent!
Although the building is old the service and location were great .
"A good place to stop in the middle of WY"
The diner where you check-in to the hotel was busy when we arrived at 9:45pm - always better than an empty diner. Our room was clean - nothing fancy. Breakfast at the diner in the morning was good - friendly staff. A decent place to stay during a road trip.
"Quiet Hotel"
Check-in was a little odd, since you must check in at the diner. The Diner is a nice quiet place that is convenient open 24 hours a day. My bed was a little too firm for my liking and I think there was an old towel behind the door (I didn't touch it), but it was a very nice room. It had a microwave and a mini-fridge.
