The hotel was really peaceful and the staff was friendly, professional and helpful. The hotel locates a bit further out (300 m) of the "main street" from the beach front, so shops and restaurants are at 10 minutes walking distance. The beach is 50 m away, but swimming at that point is on your own risk - stinger and crocodile protected area with a net can be found just 800 m ahead. Pool area is nice and there are suitable pools for all ages.

Very affordable, located on the best beach (Palm cove) of the area, extremely helpfull staff! The hotel is not right on the beach but the walk is only 5 min and the hotel's pool area is very nice! I would definetely choose this hotel if I'm ever to travel travel there again! It's great for a couple, a family or single travellers as myself.

Very comfortable hotel, with fantastic central pool; great for kids. Nice laid back atmosphere and friendly staff. Restaurant food is very high quality, but also a bit pricey; thought they could have split it into two menus/areas one for casual eating and one for more formal eating. "Sea Temple - Quality and Great location"
We had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay in a rooftop penthouse (one bedroom). Easy access to all facilities at Sea Temple and a 60 second walk to the beach. We often walked four mile beach into Port Douglas. Sea Temple is clean and modern and the staff are very responsive and friendly. A great experience

it was a lovely stay for a romantic weekend. I guess the only thing we didn't like was the hot tub on the roof terrace was far too hot. We turned the heating off butt it took till morning to cool enough to get in. The swim up rooms on the bottom floor would have been a better choice as to walk to the pool from the penthouse you need to go around the […] other units. Resturant was lovely although very expensive especially the wine selection. budget for arround 200 dollars for a meal for two with a glass of wine each. perhaps staying closer to the town of port douglas with very cheap resturants would be a better choice. "Love the Penthouse Jacuzzi!"
If you want to spend a romantic week in Port Douglas, this is the place. We had a marvelous room overlooking the lagoon with our own stiarway to the jacuzzi, barbeque area and spent a lot of time there. Even tho the weather was hot and muggy, there was a breeze up on top. "Beautiful Hotel and Perfect for Family Vacation"
Some of the hotel reviews were negative and had us concerned; however, we were nothing short of completely impressed with the Sea Temple Resort. Although I did not try the spa due to cost, the condo was beautiful, clean and luxurious. We could not have picked a better place for our vacation!
