Grand Inn Fargo - Fargo

We were not impressed with the hotel because the toilets didn't have lids and had brown rings inside the toilet hadend bin used a brush for cleaning for a long time. We will not stay there animore.

Got there late put us in a room with ceiling tiles coming out bath tub was dirty would not shower there pillows on bed were awful a rolled up coat would of been better will NEVER stay there again even if it was free !

This place is the worst place we have ever stayed in. It needs to be shut down. It's beyond old, outdated, mold, dirty carpet, 20 year old matresses, smelly, no toilet cover, filthy, ancient furniture and outlets, run down and not worth spending a minute in. You can't even take a shower. I hope we didn't pick up a disease there. The authorities should […] close this place. Outraged, that we actually had to pay a lot of money to stay in this dump. The hotel is very quiet but probably because not that many people were there. The bedding was so yellow we are not sure it was changed from the last person there. I could not sleep the bed was so uncomfotable. The whole experience was awful. We will not go to that hotel again. It needs to be completely remodeled. This is not a fancy place. But as a place to spend one or two nights when you don't need a lot of amenities or plush furnishings, it is okay. The room was acceptable although the TV had somehow become disconnected from the cable service and needed attention. The complimentary breakfast was just bagels, ceral or toast and the room was spartan at best. […] The room was very quiet and the motel is located near easy access to I-29 and to shopping and restaurants. This is a CHEAP hotel in all meanings. If you want to save money and don't care about everything else - it's right choise.

Walked into the room and the carpet had a iron burn and many other burns. The smell - let say I still smell it. Mold in the shower. I could go on but I think you get the picture. We did not take off our shoes.

Do you like sunken mattresses, dust, and questioning if you are going to live through the night? Then this is the place for you! Spend a few more bucks and sleep safe and sound somewhere else.

The motel was convieniently located to the venue where we needed to be (NDSU). The motel was basic, but just what we needed for the night. Good breakfast choices and friendly staff too.

If you do not care about cleanliness then this would be ok to stay at. This is a place that rents out for weekly rates and at the time of our stay, they had a lot of out of state contract workers staying there who may not necessarily care about the conditions of the rooms. Our room was a smoking room at our request, however the blankets, carpet, furniture […] and sink all had cigarette burns all over. When we opened up the drapes there were mouse droppings on the window ledge and the room had a strong smell other than smoke to it. There was a floor lamp by the window that was broken and the shade was full of stains that should have been replaced and even the sink fixtures were full of corroded calcium build-up and the shower curtain had spots of mold. Since we only needed the room for a few hours to sleep for one night and the other rooms that were available in the area were twice as much, we kept our room but if we ever needed to stay in Fargo again I would spend the extra money to stay at another hotel. My son and I stayed at the Grand Inn visiting relatives. The building was older than I expected but I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into the lobby. Everything was so bright. Our room was on the 2nd floor because I requested a room away from the smoking section. it was a good choice because we never even knew we were in a smoking building. This is definitely the worst hotel we've ever stayed at. The curtains haven't been washed since 2008. (There was a dry-cleaning tag). The phone was so gross and dirty. The towels look like they haven't been changed since ages ago. The bottom mattresses had spills and weren't even covered by a sheet. The room reeked of smoke even though it was a non-smoking […] room. The carpet was too gross that I didn't want to walk on it with my barefeet. The hotel staff were great but this hotel was very run down. I did not feel comfortable or even safe for that matter! The room had a bad odor and the mattress had stans. I would absolutely NOT recommend this hotel to others...it needs to be renovated or torn down!

The whole place smelled of SMOKE. There was no morning coffee, much less anything to eat!!

This Hotel is old and need of repairs. Sink faucets should be replaced. Furnishings treadbare etc.

so got there and checked in quick room was ok bed was ok, more pillows in room would have been good was clean but like evry cheaper place you look at some things and ask.....why is there roled up toilt paper stuck to the ceilling? as for the breakfast in the morning......there isn't one the cielling was a hang tiles so sound from upstair traveled threw […] know problem.... This is an older motel but the rooms are cleaner than some of the newer ones I have stayed in. The price was perfect for a 'no frills' motel. It is an older building but as long as it's clean, I am happy.

This hotel needs serious upgrading.

This hotel is really old and out of date. The towels were brown instead of white. The bathroom wasn't dirty, but they did not provide little shampoos. Everything was very old from the carpets to the bedspreads.

I THINK IF YOU WANT CHEAP AND CLEAN ROMM THIS THE PLACE NO FANCY BUT GOOD

I chose this hotel based on reviews listed, I am not sure what hotel they stayed in but this is not the same place. The rooms were dirty, carpet was wet and smelled, there were stains on the pillows, and we had to ask for light bulbs for the lamps. This pace is a DUMP to put it mildly.
