Blarney Golf Resort - Blarney

Very pleasant. Didn't think much of the bar, no atmosphere, bar menu poor. Told we could go to the club house, however too many youths in club house. So we didn't stay. Only alternative was the restaurant, which was expensive.

Not a bad hotel just could do with a bit of tlc,little things like bulbs not working and faulty tv remotes in the room plus in my room the extractor fan in the bathroom was really noisy,also I was there 5 nights and the bed sheets weren't changed once.If it wasnt for those little things it would be top class,staff were good especially in the bar.

I spent a night here looking for a quiet get away which is exactly what I got. The only slight dissapointment was the rooms ceiling and part of wall seemed to have suffered some minor water damage which left stains that had not been repainted which is a shame as this was the only thing which let the hotel down, the staff were friendly and helpful, and […] the gym and pool were clean and well equiped. would be happy to return. The room was nice and quiet. It is a good center point for day trips to Cobh, Kinsale, and Cork. The clubhouse restaurant served good food. The room was clean and the staff friendly.

A little hard to find. Not well marked. But worth the effort. Absolutely one of our top stays while in Ireland.

booked in here for one night to stay after a late flight, overall a really nice experience, very nice hotel, spacious room, nice bathroom, friendly staff and for the price, which was very good value, it was a very pleasant experience.

You will love it!

Booked this hotel for only €50 per night, not sure what to expect on arrival but so pleasently surprised. Great staff, great room, and superb food at great value. Highly recommed !

The hotel was fantastic value for money, very comfortable and the gym and pool were great. Staff were also very nice. Only problem we had was the location which was 3 miles outside the village but other than that I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone, especially families

Although advertised as a 4* Hotel I would have expected more. The dinning room was not open during my stay, bar had choice of two menus, one was very expensive and the other basic bar snacks. Very disappointed by the breakfast; full irish was 12.50 euro whch had a very poor selection of breakfast.

The resort was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was very modern and comfortable. The only think I did not enjoy was the bed. It was too soft for my comfort but my husband loved it. It is set in a nice, quiet location which was great for us coming from the hustle and bustle of Dublin. We would love to stay again. Wonderful resort for […] the price. This Hotel offers a very friendly and comfortable stay the front desk staff were excellent and the room was spacious and spotless the leisure centre has an excellent gym and pool. parking can be a problem late in the evening as the leisure centre gets busy their was no evening bar food menu although there is light snacks and sandwichs available. Great experience. Loved the hotel. Staff were very friendly and could not have been more helpful. I found the hotel was a bit isolated and too far away from Blarney for my needs. However, I would recommend it and/or return for a quiet relaxing break.

I was greeted by a friendly Polish lass who explained all the amenitiesof the hotel very eloquently.I was impressed with the room as it had a raised office space in the room with a L-shaped desk and telephone, comfortable executive chair and wifi connection for my laptop.The room was very comfortable and there was a flatscreen tv with local channels […] as well as BBC Sky tv and others.I was attending the IEA conference at the Cork County Hall the following morning and it was only a 15 minute drive fom the hotel.Although it was so close to the city you felt that you were out in the country.All in all a lovely hotel and I would recommend it to anyone who has to attend a business function in the city. Luxury accommodation. Great memory.

Very clean and comfortable and within walking distance of the Blarney Castle. The restaurant and bar were also top-notch. You can't beat the value here.

This should be a 5 star resort. My family of 4 were so impressed that we changed our plans to stay longer. The facilities were immaculate and the service exceptional. Next time, I will stay even longer.

Hotel is in a great location if a little further out of Blarney than I had thought but only a few miles. On arrival the hotel didn't have our booking and was quite embarrasing but they offered complimentary breakfast to us which was great. They later told me that I had arrived a day early! Oops but they honoured their agreement so v impressed. We dined […] on early bird menu in restaurant, service and food were excellent and v good value. Didn't use the golf course or the leisure suite but all looked well maintained. Our room was a bit dark on it but prob as they had to squeeze us in LOL. Area is great for a country walk, cows, birds etc. Also quite a close drive to Blarney, Cork city and surrounding areas. We used the hotel as a base really but I would consider a return trip and make better use of the facilities onsite. So well done on a pleasant experience. Lisätietoja

The lodges were excellent, with access to all hotel facilities. Food in the Clubhouse well worth a visit and the service was excellent. A gem in an area of tranquillity away from the hustle and bustle of Cork City

Staff couldn't have been better, the only complaint I would have was the water pressure in both showers was very poor. All in all a great resort, would definately go back.

This hotel was one of the very finest we stayed in on a 3 week trip to the UK. We have had great experiences this entire journey - but this hotel was an oasis. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was huge, comfortable and really well furnished. We had a huge king size bed - which was a treat. We travel with our own pillows and didn't really […] need them here ... which is saying a lot. The bathroom was also exquisite. Internet was provided in the room by ethernet (usb) and Super fast! The spa was awesome. Great big indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room! Blarney Castle is about 5-10 minutes away by car. I have stayed in the Blarney Woolen Mills Hotel (Christies). It is right across from the castle and it is also excellent - but if I had to choose and driving was not an issue ... The resort was lovely, very clean the only down side as it was a little far out from the village (tower) so there was nothing to eat past 11pm. The hotel of course had room service but only sandwiches -salad, ham, or cheese with no choice of getting it toasted or anything. Surrounding area is so peaceful and lovely. The room was a lot bigger then expected […] which was lovely since one of us were there on business and the room also had a lovely big study area. We were very impressed and would recommend to a friend. If there look out for the months special offer on a spa treatment. Fantastic hotel, rooms are very large and bright and spotless.

Stayed in a two bedroom lodge that was quite spacious but a bit tired in the decor. Main thing to know is that the property allows pets and it shows on the carpets. They were stained including in the bedrooms. Not nice. Wonderful location and very nice tranquil views so ideal if you value peace and quiet. We didn't try the restaurant but the clubhouse […] had good cheap and tasty food. I was a little disappointed in the way that reception was handled and wondered whether the fact that I had booked at a cheaper rate made a difference. At checkin I was told up front that nothing extra was included in my rate. I knew that of course but would have appreciated it being phrased more positively. For instance it could just as easily been said that breakfast is an extra amount if you are interested and here's what else is available. Finally I didn't realize that many hotels in Ireland and the uk allow pets and this may be something to watch out for if you are an allergy sufferer Lisätietoja

Very nice hotel and area ... noted some walls needed plaster repair ... seemed like new construction issues ... rooms were lovely ... mattresses seemed a bit outdated ... emenities and restaurant were of 5 star quality ... a very scenic area ... quite a bit outside of Blarney and a bit outside the next little town. Went back to the little town just […] before we got to the Blarney Golf Hotel and ate breakdfast at Aunties ... sooooo good for an inexpensive late breakfast. close by are Blarney shops and Blarney Castle (currency exchange in gift shop). We stayed in one of the lodges which was absolutely beautiful, and fully furnished. We wanted for nothing. We used the pool (20mtr), jacuzzi and the steam room, all of the above were in pristine condition and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We booked two nights in a suite with two bedrooms and kitchen at a fairly decent rate. While we didn't require the full space for our family (2 adults & 2 young kids), all the rooms were used and the kitchen came in handy (buy food at the SuperValu up the street and store it in the fridge/freezer, then use the microwave or oven for quick and inexpensive […] meals). Everything was clean, rooms were well appointed, and we would definitely stay here again, even though we weren't there for the golf or spa. Only complaint is that there are very limited channels on the TV, and the front desk didn't know enough about this when we asked why half the channels didn't work (TV isn't that important, but was necessary at times to keep the kids occupied for a few minutes while we got meals ready). Close to Blarney Castle and short drive to Cork. Used the resort as a base for travel in different direections. Lisätietoja

Beautiful 3 yr old facility. Rolling countryside. Great rooms!!!!! Resturant and clubhouse have great food. Wish I could have taken the bathroom home with us. We'll visit again!
