Amberton Hotel - Vilna

Hyvä sijainti Vilnan pääkadun lähellä, tärkeimmät nähtävyydet mm. vanha kaupunki kävelyetäisyydellä. Hotellissa oli käynnissä remontti, jonka vuoksi mm. sauna ei ollut käytettävissä. Aamupala keskinkertainen buffet, hotellin yleistaso keskinkertainen, respan henkilökunta ystävällistä ja palvelualtista.

Great location but over all low quality hotel. WIFI internet did not work in the room & lobby nor they could fix it. Room was dirty, cold, & looked like desperately needed renovation. They ripped us off on the airport transfer. They charged us 50LT to go to the airport when it really cost only 20LT, many other problems.

We had 6 rooms in the hotel - ours on the top floor was really good, although no view. Some of the other rooms and lower floors didn't have air conditioning and it was really hot, but ours did and was fine. Overall the hotel is really good, very nice breakfast but be aware when they say it closes at 10.00, they literally take everything away. Wide choice […] on offer and a very nice setting, you can also sit outsidethe restaurant looking directly at the Cathedral and Tower. Also has a really nice outdoor cafe, where you can order food and drinks without having to into the hotel. The Staff were helpful and overall our 5 day saty was really good. Lisätietoja

At booking the room was advertised to have AC and WiFi. They gave me a room in the old part of the building that had no AC and no WiFi. I had to refuse to take that room to be sent to another hotel for one night (transportation and the room paid by Amberton). The next day they put me in a room in the main part of the building with AC & WiFi; both actually […] worked. In general the hotel if ran down and is nowhere near the advertised 4 stars. The staff is friendly. Breakfast is OK but other hotels like Artis definitely have a better breakfast. The location is great, pretty much in the old town. Out travel plans changed at the last minute and we had to book a hotel in Vilnius at short notice. I think we were given a room in the older part of the hotel as it was nowhere near what I would expect for 4 star quality. The rooms were not as shown on the website and badly in need of a revamp. The room we stayed in was on two floors, with a small lounge […] on one floor and the bedroom and bathroom on the second. The roof was slanted and there were windows in the roof. We stayed there on a very rainy night and the rain was very noisy on the window. There is also not proper blinds on the windows, so you are woken very early with the light coming in. The breakfast selection was poor and the tables were not cleaned from the previous guests before the next was shown to them. We were only there for one night, so managed to get by, but I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The only positve thing I can say is that the location is very good - it's right acorss the street from the Cathedral Square. Lisätietoja

The hotel is very well placed on the main drag of Vilnius and the restaurant is exquisite.......breakfasts were superb and the staff were very pleasant The rooms did not live up to the reception and the location but they were comfortable given the furniture

Just as the title suggests, really more like a 3 star than a 4 star. One thing though, they tried to charge me for juice I drank at the restaurant before I checked out, even though there was free breakfast and I didn't even have breakfast. The receipt they showed me was unsigned, and only has my room number on it, but it only took 5mins to resolve the […] situation. The hotel was right at the edge of the old town and within easy walking distance to sites to see. The hotel staff was very helpful with recommandations and sightseeing ideas.

Pobyt udany, malo miejsca na samochod na parkingu podziemnym, poza tym wszystko OK.

Estuve un día de invierno (-25C) se veía bien ubicado, pero la verdad no salí por los alrededores. El hotel en general bien, solo que me toco una pieza en el ático sin ascensor. Para el frío que había fuera, la calefacción funcionaba muy bien.

Heeft een goed restaurant, Ligt in het centrum, vlakbij traditioneel Litouws eten en een leuke club Paparazzi. Ik mis maar 1 ding en dat is de mogelijkheid om zelf koffie en thee te zetten.

Отличное место расположения, хороший завтрак, обслуживание и номера.Никаких нареканий, правда парковка платная.

Stor tilfredshed med hotellet og ikke mindst restauranten, der laver fantastiske pizzaer. Central beliggenhed. Rimeligt prisleje.

Arrived in hotel, smooth check in and very helpful staff. Got a large room on on 2nd floor. The room is ok except for the following; The TV is too small, I expect a flatscreen when the hotel is 4stars. The water for the shower is not regulated by thermostat. This made it wery difficult to take a shower, and due to the extremely warm water suddenly bursting […] out, we could not allow children to use it. Again with 4 stars this is not good enough. However, this is an easy fix, and the overall impression of the hotel, staff and location is good and we will return to hotel Amberton. Lisätietoja

centralt beläget hotell, man måste ha tur med rumsbokningen det rum som vi bodde i var mycket dåligt.

hotellet ligger perferkt i vilinus tæt på gågade og hovedgade.pænt og rent gode værlerser alt i alt meget tilfredsanbefalder dette og vil tage dette hotel næste gang jeg kommer til byen.

Det beste med hotellet er beliggenheten, kun noen hundre meter fra Vilinus hovedgate. Ellers ser hotellets fasade og resepsjon fin ut, men vi erfarte at rommet virket noe slitt, gammelt interiør og grelle farger. Men det var rent. :-) Maten i restauranten var bra. Litt usikker på hvordan hotell standarden var i forhold til det generelle i Litauen, vektet […] i pris. Vi fant det greit nok og vil nok anbefale det. Lisätietoja

This is not a hotel, well not after you pass the reception at least the room felt like a prison cell the bed was horrible,it was making all kinds of sounds and in all our rooms we woke up with bad backs, do not go to this hotel, there are many more hotels that are cheaper and better.. i am a receptionist in Norway i know how the standard should be

Perfekt läge vid Katedraltorget. Trevlig service, bra rum och bra frukostbuffé.

Jag har bott på Amberton ett antal (10+) gånger så jag har erfarenhet av hotellet. Denna gång var inte en av de bättre. - Wifi fungerar inte ens på första våningen. Man erbjuds en kabel och surfar då i en hastighet som påminner om modem från 90-talet. - Rummet och badrummet var iskallt. 16 grader enligt termomentern. Vi fick sova med massor av exktra […] kläder. - Garaget är så trångt att det är nästan omöjligt att komma ut och in. Dessutom har man inte kontroll på vem som parkerar och hur så gästerna blockerar varandra. - Vi fick frukost utan problem denna gång men veckan innan hävdade man att jag inte beställt frukost och jag var tvungen att lämna restaurangen och reda ut det hela innan jag kunde sätta mig till bords igen. Hotellet hade gjort fel. Amberton har ett bra läge, trevliga rum och personal och man försöker verkligen. Det är bara det att allt inte fungerar som det ska. Lisätietoja

Hotel Amberton har en fantastisk beliggenhed og var et perfekt udgangspunkt for vores gåture rundt i byen. Vi oplevede en fin service fra personalet ikke mindst i receptionen, som hjalp med alt, hvad vi spurgrte om. Desværre var sauna og boblebad ude af funktion. Det havde vi ellers glædet os til at bruge, efter en tur rundt i byen i 5 graders kulde […] (der føltes om 20 pga blæsten). Perfekt beliggenhet, den er 5-stjerners, god frokost, serviceinnstilt og vennlig personale. Rommene er store, men holder vel ikke 4-stjerners standard. Vil gjerne komme tilbake til samme hotell neste gang.

Greit hotell, god beliggenhet. Bra frokost. Gratis internett på rommene (UTP-kabel medbringes eller fås til lån fra hotellet). Enkeltrom anbefales ikke; lite og trist, stukket inn i et hjørne i første etasje. Bla heller opp noen kroner ekstra for et dobbeltrom.

Vi bodde p Hotel Amberton i tre nätter i början av augusti. Vi var mycket nöjda med hela vistelsen p hotellet. Rummet var rymligt och fräscht. Personalen var mycket tjänstvillig och tillmötesgående. Frukost buffén var lite utöver det vanliga. Vi kan rekommendera Hotel Amberton på det varmaste.

Detta hotel har bästa tänkbara läge vid katedralen, universitetet och presidentpalatset, nära såväl gamla stan som de moderna affärsgatorna. Ett lugnt, rent, modernt hotel med utomordentlig frukostbuffe.

En perfekt beliggenhet med kort gåavstand til alt, om du velger den gamle bydelen, eller mer moderne shoppingstrøk. Unngå rommene på gateplan, etterat vi fikk bytte oss opp i etasjene ble oppholdet meget bra. God restaurant både inne og ute.

It is a very nice hotel, near the Cathedral, but it seems more like a 3 star hotel. Anyway, I've no complaint, at all

Valgte hotellet pga dets fantastiske beliggenhet ved katedralen. Midt imellom gamlebyen og den moderne delen. Ble ganske overrasket når vi kom på rommet og så standarden, Har bodd på flere andre hoteller i Vilnius og dette var det eldste og stusseligste vi har opplevd. Gammelt teppe på gulvet, lite bad med kabinett og et lite vindu for lufting i soverommet. […] Derav tett luft og følelse av å være innestengt. Frokosten var OK i en italiensk restaurant liggende med utsikt over katedral plassen. Men anbefaler ikke Klaipeda hotel. Finnes mange andre mye bedre til samme prisen og billigere. Lisätietoja

Et meget sentralt, men likevel rolig og på alle måter godt hotell

les chambres sont tres differentes ,en qualite ,grandeur, vue. les chambres dans l aile gauche de l hotel sont plus petites, tristes, digne d un 2 etoiles .
