Beautiful Better than the "W" on the beach!!

We were simply looking to book a quick, affordable getaway and chose Fort Lauderdale because of the convenience. Our stay at The Atlantic will certainly make Fort Lauderdale a destination for future trips! The hotel was wonderful. Our room had a balcony and an ocean view ... as well as a view of the wonderful heated swimming pool. The location on the beach was less crowded than other locations and the hotel was in walking distance from shops and restaurants in the area. The staff at the hotel was exceptional - welcoming and extremely competent. There were some quirks with housekeeping - such as not replacing towels or leaving four moisturizers and no shampoo, but a quick call remedied those quirks without issue. Would highly recommend The Atlantic.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location.

I booked 2 rooms for 3 nights in this hotel. Hotel is very beutiful but Housekeeping seems like they don't exist. I found matches and cigrets from the previous customer in my room. Shampoo was missing for 2 days and finally when I called at the front desk I finally got it. Towels were missing and bed was not done professionally. I believe if I am paying such a high dollar for my room I expect perfect service and clean room. And when I try to call the hotel before booking with Hotel.com the reservation lady told me they are sold out and they don't have any more rooms, so she try to sell me $1000 dollar suite.

Room was elegant and very comfortable and met our every need. Well-equipped kitchenette area with refrigerator with icemaker, bathroom suite, ocean front. Staff extremely helpful in every way. Trina Restaurant was the best!

We were blown away my wife has cancer so we try to take little trips.When the hotel saw her in the wheelchair and asked what was wrong they upgraded us to a beautiful suite.Everyone was so nice and the restaurant was awsome.

Very nice, appealing, clean place. It was my boyfriend's birthday so we rented an ocean front balcony to get away for a day and relax and once we got there we were upgrated to a suite that was unbelievably beautiful, so needless to say we were more than happy with that upgrade. We also ordered food from the hotel restaurant and it was amazing!!! We had a great experience from beggining to end and highly recomend this hotel, looking forward to coming back soon!!!!

My room was upgraded to a nice suite since I booked multiple days. Valet, front desk and spa personnel were incredible. Hotel was beautiful and well maintained. My only gripes are that overnight valet is $28 and if a guest valets it is an additional $10! Also, the "turn down service" ladies left my door unlocked TWICE during my 5 day stay. Otherwise, it is a fabulous place to stay and I will certainly stay there again.

Booked the hotel for my wife's birthday and when we arrived they upgraded us to the penthouse without us even asking or charging extra. We would of loved the stay no matter what but when they gave us a 1500 square foot suite for the night we were just blown away with the accommodations. Very comfortable and the view from the balcony alone can make you want to sleep under the stars.

the only bad thing to say is that i think it is time for them to upgrade their furniture. the couch made noice when you sat on it and when you sat on the edge of the mattress it had no support....

I have stayed at many places on the beach in Fort Lauderdale, and this was my favorite. However, it was too expensive for off season. I think that next time I come down, I will stay somewhere else thats a little more afforadable.

The Atlantic Hotel is a beautiful hotel! It truly exceeded my expectations. It was very clean. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The location was wonderful. My friend and I could walk right down the street and grab a bite to eat and shop or walk across the street and lounge on the beach if we were tiring of the pool. Our room was gorgeous and very clean. I highly recommend staying at the Atlantic Hotel if you are visiting Fort Lauderdale.

The location was excellent. Directly across the street from the beach and close enough yet far enough away from the touristy nightlife center of Ft.Lauderdale by the beach. The hotel was very clean and inviting and our room, with partial ocean view, was perfect! Our one yr old even had her own section for her crib, stroller, toys, etc... that didn't invade mine and my husbands relaxing hotel room area. Truly felt like I was on vacation the moment we walked in! All of the staff couldn't have been nicer. Polite and greeted us every time we left and returned to the hotel. I have stayed at many hotels in Ft.Lauderdale and this one will definitely get our return business.

The hotel was amazing! We got a fabulous rate on hotels.com and saved a bunch! The rooms were very nice and the bathroom had the best shower ever! It was right across AIA to the beach. The service was outstanding. Beach towels in the lobby along with a free bottle of water. The pool overlooks the awesome ocean view. I am so glad we went to this hotel for a long weekend for our 6th anniversary.

From the moment we walked into the hotel to the moment we left, every expectation was exceeded. The customer service was outstading, from the concierge and maid to the front desk staff, the head chef and each bartender, everyone impressed us. The price was amazing as it was off season. The rooms were breathtaking and the food at the resturant was better than any we have ever experienced in Ft. Lauderdale. The "free" area of the mens' spa very clean and extremly relaxing. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who enjoys luxurious getaways in true upscale style.

My wife and I just returned from or yearly anniversary trip and truely had a great stay. We were upgraded to a suite when the front desk found out it as our anniversay, the concierge as extremely helpful, the pool is awesome with views of the beach, and it is walkable to the outdoor mall/bars. We ate off property, but lunch was tasty at the pool. Pool staff was very friendly.

This hotel is gorgeous with incredible views, great pool, wonderful restaurant/bar and spa. I would stay here again and again. Highly recommended.

We got more than we expected. When we checked in, our room wasn't quite ready so rather than have us wait they just upgraded us. The staff was very friendly. My wife got a spa treatment there and absolutely loved it. The room was really nice with a partial view of the ocean. And the hotel is on a quiter part of the boardwalk but still just a short walk from the more lively area. We would definately stay there again!

I can not say enough good things about the staff and the hotel. The room was huge (I have seen apartments which were half the size), the amenities wonderful, the service and food fabulous - it was a piece of paradise. Only complaint was the party makers at the motel next store but the room was sound proof so I could shut them out whenever quiet was desired...Again - highly recommend!!!

We just stayed at the Atlantic from March 10th-16th and it exceeded my expectations. I got engaged in one of the luxury suites and it was the picture perfect. The service is impeccable. We will definitely be back.

We arrived at 2:00pm even thought check-in wasn't until 4:00pm. As we expected, our room wasn't ready yet and the lady checking us in stated that they were over-booked for the night and that we were being given the penthouse suite instead of the regular room we reserved. We had lunch at the hotel restaurant and checked back at 4:00pm to see if our room was ready yet and it wasn't. Due to the fact that it was raining and we couldn't sit by the pool, we went to the spa and both my girlfriend and I spent over $300 in services there to pass the time. We finished in the spa at 6:45pm and our room still wasn't ready. We then went to the bar and had a drink till our room was finally ready at 7:30pm! When we got to the room, it wasn't the penthouse suite but just a regular room. When we called to speak to the manager about what had happened, all she kept saying was that they were over-booked and they were trying to work with us. When we asked for an extended checkout we were told they couldn't do that because again they were over-booked. They only thing we were offered was lunch which we couldn't even stay long enough for. Horrible!!!

The Atlantis was above and beyond what we expected. We stayed there from 3/19 to 3/22/09. The entire staff was exceptional,very polite and helpful with recomendations. When we return to Fort Lauderdale we will NOT stay anywhere else.

This hotel was amazing. The staff knew my name as I was walking in. The service was amazing, the food was excellent and the view was magnificent. The room was out of this world. STAY IN THIS HOTEL !

Stayed at the Atlantic recently and was blown away. Room was large and clean, very nice. Open the balcony door and can hear and see the ocean. Will certainly go there again and recommend to family and friends.

We really enjoyed our hotel it was very convienent to the Beach which was what we were looking for....it was very comfortable enviroment and the concierge was awesome in recommending great places to eat and things to do...our only disappointment was at Trina the resturant in the hotel, service was very slow and not as attentive....other than that we would love to stay at the Atlantic again....

As a frequent guest of the Atlantic, I expect, and always encounter, delightful rooms with terrific ocean views, fine food and good drinks served by a very amiable and even witty staff, instant attention to any request and the Zen-like attraction of the 5th floor outside pool.

This was a nice hotel. The service was good, but for a 4 Diamond Property I was expecting exceptional service and they did not quite meet that level. Additionally, the hotel is starting to show its age in the wear and tear. The maintenance staff does a good job on staying on top of things, but it is definitely time for some maintenance updates. I would rate the overall value as pretty good.

Our stay at the Atlantic was very nice. The location was great, nice ammenities, and friendly service. I felt the room was very impressive with a wonderful ocean view. However, I felt the carpet in the room needed to be replaced or cleaned.

The hotel and service were great. Steam room and one cardio machine (out of 6) were out of service. In a small gym/spa, it seemed like that should have been serviced immediately. But the staff were VERY pleasant and accomodating. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

I've stayed at many of the condo hotels on the Ft Lauderdale Sunrise Beach strip. The location is fantastic and the Atlantic Hotel was clean and comfortable. I like the beach but my wife likes the pool so of course we spent all of our time at the pool. The pool itself is nothing much but the view is second to none. The restaurant, bar and staff made roughing it at the pool worth it.

The first night we were disapointed to find we didn't have a tub in our room ( I have problems with my back so I look forward to having a bath at night)I asked about changing rooms the next day they moved us up to an ocean front beautiful room above and beyond what we expected. We were so satisfied we exteded our stay a few more days!

The Hotel was very nice we had an excellant view with balcony large room, extra large bathroom, very clean, staff very nice and actually remembered your name. Was a little pricy even for the area.
