owner seems to barge into rooms too often, you have to leave key at front desk when leaving and they ignore no molestar signs

It's got nice rooms and shabby/extremely basic rooms ( I have stayed at the hotel 4 times in total and 3 times in fairly pleasant rooms but on the most recent occasion our room had stained carpet, cigarette burn holes in the bed covers and damp marks on the walls ... it wouldn't put me off staying there but I wouldn't take the risk of bringing a girlfriend […] there for a quick weekend, I'd be afraid of getting one of the shabby rooms! The main reason for which you have to choose this hotel is because is very close to main interesting places in Madrid City Center, those you can easyly reach by walking. Price according to quality delivered. But no more ammenities than a soap, the staff is not exactly the most friendly, not all but some of them are not that kind. Location is pretty good. That is where I would stop with the positives for the Hotel. I didn't mind the small room, because you expect small in Europe, but my Dorm Room Freshman Year had a more comftorable and clean bed. Not a good experience at all. I would not reccomend this Hotel at any price.

Laris has excellent location in Madrid (although might be a bit difficult to find if you don't have a detailed map of the area). In its category of 3stars hotels it is one of the best I came across: nice staff, comfortable room, spacious bathroom, reasonable price. I would definitely come back.

good location for good price and had air conditioning which is needed in madrid!

Location is perfect, room was clean and nice,clean towels and bed clothes. Street has night girls but I did not feel unsafe. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for three stars.

Great location for a basic hotel which had an acceptable standard of room and helpful staff. The bar was not staffed and kept closed on some occasions, but it was only a small cafe/bar area anyway. The main selling point is the hotel location, just yards from Gran Via, one of Madrids main thoroughfares. There are a few prostitutes lining the streets […] but they caused no hassle to us. Das Hotel liegt 7 Gehminuten von der Puerta del Sol entfernt. Etwas abseits von der Hauptverkehrsstraße hört man im Hotel auch keinen Straßenlärm. Die Rezeption ist 24 h am Tag besetzt und die Rezeptionisten sind freundlich. Das Zimmer ist sehr basic, aber man will ja auch die Stadt sehen. Das Badezimmer ist renovierungsbedürftig.

The hotel is very friendly, the staff is cool and nice, always ready to serve your porposes. The location is the best, right near "gran via" metro station, a few minutes walking to "plaza del sol". Great and recomended.

L'albergo è situato in zona centrale ma tranquilla, a pochi passi dalla Metro (stazione Gran Via) e a 10 minuti a piedi da diverse attrazioni turistiche. La camera, dotata di aria condizionata, TV, cassaforte e bagno privato con vasca/doccia, WC, bidet e lavandino, è di discreta qualità, anche se un po' datata, ma di certo non scomoda. Il servizio di […] portineria è H24 e i receptionist sono sempre disponibili a fornire informazioni. Adiacente all'hotel, c'è un garage sotterraneo (anch'esso H24) a pagamento, che consiglio utilizzare data la scarsità di posti auto liberi in centro città. Disponibile ascensore e possibilità di effettuare la colazione (anche se a 200 metri si trova uno dei tanti Starbucks madrileni). Lisätietoja

Die Vorteile des Laris sind seine Lage (ruhige Nebenstraße der Gran Via, fußläufig zur Plaza del Sol und Chueca) und sein relativ günstiger Preis für diesen Komfort. Die Zimmer sind ausreichend groß und sauber. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert nur mäßig, das WLan ist etwas funkschwach, das Frühstück habe ich nicht getestet.

hotel situato in buona posizione centrale. prezzo buono. personale disponibile e gentile. alcuni servizi un pò carenti. nel mio caso aria condizionata non funzionante 3 notti su 4. richiesta intervento dalla seconda notte. colazione completa solo nella formula continentale . senza possibilita di prendere solo cappuccino e croissant. strada tranquilla […] senza traffico di notte, ma non troppo pulita. Meget stoej fra aircondition. Vaerelse og reception paent og rent. Omraadet er lidt meget praeget af prostituerede og pushere. Meget taet på centrum og gaa afstand fra Metro. OK til prisen.

Værelserne er små, og hotellet er generelt slidt. Mange værelser har vindue ud til ventilationsskakt, som larmer meget. Billigt hotel.

Bien situé, avec une SDB très basse et ancienne.

Ottima posizione per l'albergo, la stanza pulita, dalla finestra vedevo una bombola grande, un po triste. Non lo consiglio per una coppia, ma solo per amici.
