The hotel was very nice , big bed , would have been perfect if i didn't find a bed bug while I was leaving .

This hotel is very run down and looks like it need to be on a hoe strow or dope spot look like something a junky will stay in pics looks nothing like the pics on Hotels.com.
"Could Have Been Great"
The staff were wonderful, and the hotel was quiet. However, the room smelled, the carpet was stained and ratty the bedding was scratchy. This was a nice property and had nice amenities in the room (TV, fridge, microwave, safe); however, the it was a very uncomfortable, smelly room.
"Nice Bed, but Noisy and Crack Smokers Outside Door"
Good price, bed was surprisingly comfortable, room was clean, breakfast was coffee, cereal and pastries. Room was small but nicely appointed with microwave, fridge and hairdryer. Good linens and soap. Only problem was when I left to get dinner, I came back and there was literally a scary dude smoking crack right in front of my window. I could not leave […] my car, so I stayed there and watched him. This must not have been his first hit of crack that night, as he barely noticed me. I went and told the night hotel manager, who was surprisingly notchalant about it. I dont know if he did anything, but the crack smoker did leave. However, there was an assortment of odd night creatures lurking around, making me not want to go back to my car to get my bag. "I need a shower after staying there....."
At first the hotel room looked pretty decent for the price, good cable tv, a large mini fridge, and a microwave. Then I pulled back the sheets! The bed and bed clothes were downright gross. One of the mattresses had a huge brown stain on it and I can only imagine what left that behind. On the third day, while we were out, housekeeping showed up. However, […] no joke, the comforter on my bed had more stains on it after housekeeping left than before they showed up. And, I know it was the same blanket because I recognized the stains that were on it from before. Can't believe I actually slept in that. Oh, and it took three days to get a clean set of towels. "Obviously didn't want me back"
I could overlook the dated and tired rooms. But I can't overlook the failure to clean the room after the first day. Evening front desk said it happens all the time and mangement doesn't care.

"Worst motel I have seen ever"
The stuff is incompetent. Very noisy place. A lot of hookers around and inside (or at least they are look like hookers). It generally looks like a brothel for hookers who brings their client over there. Don't even thing about booking in this place.

We got what we paid for. If you want a room to sleep in and go then this is OK. If you want really clean...find and pay for something better. We were unable to check in early so we made sure our room would not be given away for our 10pm check-in. Arrived at 9:30 to an empty lobby with a sign saying to come back in 1/2 hour (no specific time advised). […] Returned, was given only one key and no directions on how to locate room or elevator by the barefooted person at the night window. Found room, Carpet looked dirty, lots of patched holes, unplugged appliances and light fixtures pulled apart. Towels and bedding clean but stained. No fitted sheets so they kept slipping off bed. No "Do Not Disturb" sign. In the morning we waited 15 min for staff to get us extra pillows and DND sign with apologies. No fresh towels were provided when serviced until later that day however, the new towels were stain free. Our "Do Not Disturb" sign was missing from our door when we returned late the next night, hotel must have a shortage on them. cleaning staff was nice. was right where i needed to be for a early out of town meeting. only complaint was i was right next to the ice machine. after i put in the ear plugs i was fine. would stay there next time i am needed in there.

My stay at the travelodge was the most horrible experience ever. The rooms weren't clean and the locks were broken. There were drug addicts roaming around and being loud. They made my stay very uncomfortable.

This hotel was awful. This room has paper thin walls so you could here every conversation at the pool. Rooms very small and hard to get around room.

Half of the lights didn't work. Windows and doors showed signs of break ins. VERY small rooms. I hobble using a cane and they put me on the third floor when there were open rooms on the first floor. Front desk couldn't look up my reservation for the next night. Close proximity to UC Davis is about the only plus.

"Only 2 stars?"
I don't understand why this hotel is rated only 2-star. It was nice, clean, and quiet. I was on the downstairs floor, and instead of having my front door facing the street, it faced into a hallway. The refrigerator was more spacious than a regular mini one. The bathtub had that ergonomic slant so I could lean back comfortably. They had a real breakfast […] - not just continental. There was no extra charge for internet or local calls. Hotel is back far from the street, which cuts down on noise. Restaurant right across the driveway, and small strip mall in front of that. The beds are very very cheap and hard - The breakfast is not really good and cheap- the coffee in room is not the same as the breakfast. However the towels great The ammenties in room great need Shuttle to airport - mislead by Hotel.com

"The Hotel Travelodge in Sacramento"
No privacy what so ever, when you have security opening the door at 4:00 am without even knocking and asking if you are supposed to be in the room, very frightning following by a phone call harrasing the guest at 5:50 am. I have never experience this before and I hope this will never happend to me again or anyone else.

Although the location was quite a ways from the interstate highway and the bed was a bit hard, we were pleased to have a place to stay overnight. The service at check-in was good. The following morning, the staff on hand were very friendly and helpful.

My experience at this motel was horrifying. First, they did not have the correct specifications re: smoking, floor, and location of room that were requested. When we got to a room, it was cramped. The main problem, though, was that there were towels on the bathroom floor and the toilet was plugged! I had to move myself to another room.The door to the […] bathroom was so cramped that I had to push it to move; once I opened the door, I could barely get in because the space between the door and the toilet. The plug to the shower drain did not take, so I could not take a bath - only a shower. The remote didn't work, and NONE of the lamps worked! It took hours to fix things. The clerk just kept saying "I haven't been able to reach maintenance" later..."he hasn't been to your room? Although the rates were cheap....the hotel was as cheap. the beds are hard, the carpets are old and dirty....the furniture was broken....It looks like a hotel that has not been maintained with years of service.

We arrived quite late which made other options unavailable. The parking area smelled like a sewer. The lobby smelled like cigarettes and booze and although our room was a non smoking room it reeked of stale smoke and mustiness. The sheets were clean but also smelled bad. The sink in the bathroom had been leaking down the wall for a long time making […] the odor of mold, which covered the wall, and rotten wall and carpet very strong. My granddaughter literally got sick from sleeping there. You should take this hotel off your list. It was unacceptable by any standards. Hotel was nice, clean and easy to find. One restaurant across the street and one fast food. Office staff was efficient, courteous and helpful. Sufficient parking, but not sure of neighborhood.
i enjoyed my stay it was a nice room for the price... it wasnt the most amazing room but it is exactly what i needed for my stay i would recommend this hotel..
I was very disappointed with my stay. I arrived early, I had a job interview and need to get ready, I was told that I couldn't check in early, the staff was very impatient and rude. Once I did check in the room was small, it was very cramped. It was very noisy, people running around and yelling all through the night.

The room was absolutely tiny, so I am glad I didn't have to spend a lot of time in it. It was dirty, everywhere. At least the sheets looked and felt clean. I had to ask for more towels, because even though I had booked for two people, there were only towels for one. So don't stay at this Travelodge. I have stayed at Travelodge's before but this one is not good. Asked for a non smoking room but the room smelled like someone had just smoked some cigarettes before I walked in. I also found 3 hairs on the bed. The location was ok. There were restraunts, stores, ect close by. Our room had two beds and just enough room to walk by each other, very small. There was a 12 x 12 hole cut out of the wall under our sink. The wall was put back but falling out and a huge gap around it. Bed #1 was falling apart, frame broke and was right up against the A/C. Bed #2 was […] lopsided. The carpet against the wall was coming undone and the staples were clearly showing. The front office guy was great, he even printed us a map to a local store. "Cheap and cute!"
Really liked it. It was very cute and nice. An excellent price! The room was nice and I enjoyed my stay.
I was surprised at how nice this place was after reading many negative reviews. The hotel staff was friendly and let me check in two hours early. I came with a large party and noticed that no two rooms were really the same because of renovation. So some had brand new appliances while others were quite dated. The cleaning staff was friendly and pretty […] thorough in the rooms. One thing I thought was really nice was the inclusion of an electronic safe in each of the rooms which was large enough for me to place my laptop and several smaller electronic devices in while I was out.
