Excellent for the price it was. Nice, clean neighborhood of Ann Arbor near the North Campus of UofM. Buy the room for double beds because the price is about the same but more roomy. That is what I did - alone. Free room phone calls around all the USA ! I liked the simple breakfast too - it was all fresh and ok tasting even if it came out of bags...Danishes were great ( I do not usually even eat pastry). The only negative I found was that the walls are not the thickest! Ask to live in the 3rd floor and in the court yard (front side). While in town try Red Hawk's fajita salad, and Olga's Kitchen! ( I used to live here for school in the 90's and they have been around since!)

"Great family hotel - convenient to town"
we stay here for 7-10 days every year. great convenience (walking distance to restaurants and grocery), the pool is great and we love that they serve breakfast and dinner 5 days a week, with beer and wine. the staff seems to be declining from the absolute high it was a few years ago, but still as good or better than most other hotels i stay at.

We stayed here because the hotel was highly rated by other guests, so perhaps are expectations were too high, but really, the hotel is nothing special. Yeah, it has the obligatory indoor pool (bit too cold) and hot tub (but no changing area), and the dark wood lobby with fireplace, and the full breakfast, and the free computer room, but one gets a vague […] sense of mediocrity. Building materials and accoutrements seem cheap, and don't try sleeping in the pull out sofa bed if you want a flat mattress and are over four feet. ""Vacation" close to home during power outage"
We were happy to have such a comfortable and spacious suite to relax during a recent power outage. It was especially helpful that the suite had several outlets to charge all of our electronics. The staff was pleasant. The pool and hot tub were a real treat and breakfast was tasty.

Nice, clean rooms. Bedroom was compact but efficient. Living space with kitchen was nice. Large dining space for complimentary breakfast. Nice pool, hot tub and outdoor area.

"Love to be fed!"
Every time we go to visit my parents we stay here. We have 2 small children and it's great to have two rooms to spread out in, plus a kitchen. We love the dinners they serve on weeknights, and if the dinner selection is too "grown up" for the kids they have even offered to find them something else to eat (cereal or spaghetti). The rooms in this hotel are very spacious and comfortable.
"Great stay near family!"
We stayed for a week with a 2 1/2 year old to be near (but not with) family. One bedroom suite was perfect and kitchen was spotless with a large fridge. Location across from Target meant we could get all necessities easily. Next to the highway meant quick trips to relatives and Ann Arbor. Enjoyed Kensington Metropark not too far away.
