Beautiful views! Nice pool area (yes, there are many steps down to the pool but it's a lovely walk through the gardens to get there). Front desk staff were helpful when you asked them for information, however they were not overly welcoming or warm. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff who maintained the breakfast were lovely. We booked a balcony […] room. The view was amazing, however I was slightly disappointed that it wasn't a 'private' balcony. Whilst it was your own balcony, there wasn't a 'block out' wall between us and our neighbours. Hence a bit awkward to sunbathe and chat on the balcony...I did see that about 4 rooms had a private balcony so maybe ask for this if you're booking a room with a balcony. There is free wifi in the hotel (and in your room) but it only seemed to work if we were near our balcony. If you want to use the internet in the hotel lobby, it will cost you 5 euros for 30 minutes!!! The walk in to the beautiful town is about 5-10 minutes away. Overall a lovely hotel. Lisätietoja

While note usually a huge spender on hotels, I expected a lot from this hotel, having gone over our usual budget. It did not disappoint us! We booked a room with a balcony and were happy to spend lots of time watching the sea and mountains from our balcony each day - first thing in the morning and before going out each night. The hotel was right beside […] the bus station which was brilliant when going on day trips and to/from airport. It was less than 5 minutes walk from the main shopping/eating area yet was extremely peaceful. I was certainly glad to be away from the crowded streets yet close enough to walk up in the hottest point of the day. The cable car to the beaches is only a minute away so you have the best of everything. The swimming pool was large and clean and the pool area was really beautiful. Lunch at the pool bar was tasty and a great bonus on hot lazy days. The breakfast was fresh and full of choice - you could be as healthy or as naughty as you want with cakes, fruit, hot and cold food etc. The staff were helpful and friendly and the hotel was always spotless. I have nothing negative to say about my stay at this hotel, only that I'm sad it came to an end. It really made Taormina special and added something unique to our stay there. Lisätietoja

I stayed at this hotel for two nights was not over impressed with the pool side service and please keep in mind breakfast finishes pronto 10am though a lovely choice / selection very convenient to bus service and walking distance to all the restaurants and shops ...lovely views as you will possibly find all over Taormina.

Excellent location, friendly staff. Fabulous views. Good pool area. Need to be fit-200 steps down to pool.

The hotel was wonderful and the staff were easy to communicate with in English. The breakfast was great too. The only thing I would offer as a word of caution is that because the hotel is built into the hill, the pool is below the rooms and you have to walk down and up about 12 flights of steps. Tolle Lage, Taorminas Sehenswürdigkeiten sind alle zu Fuß zu erreichen. Gute Lage für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Das Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen und der schöne, große Pool lädt schon ab früh morgens zum erfrischenden Bad.

Lo staff è molto disponibile e amichevole. La piscina è bella e la vista pure. C'eranno solo 2 cose negative, il caffè e dalla macchina, non c'è il bar per avere caffè fresca la mattina, e la pizza è surgelata. Per un 4 stelle sono rimasta delusa dal mangiare.

Hotellet har en fantastisk utsikt. Rent og fint rom og hyggelig og hjelpsomt personale. Har også en god beliggenhet i forhold til Taormina sentrum.

Hemos estado tres noches a principios de Julio, Las vistas desde las habitaciones frente al mar son excelentes (las nuestras eran la 304 y 305). Las habitaciones muy cómodas. El personal muy agradable, e igualmente lo era la piscina (el trecho de escaleras no es excesivo). Beim einchecken kein Kofferservice am frühen Abend. Aber sofortiger Hinweis fürs Parking €10.00 pro Tag zu bezahlen, sonst gitbs Parkbussen! Herzlich willkommen! (Ich werde das Gefühle nicht mehr los in DER Abzocke gelandet zu sein). Später: Reklamationen betr. Sauberkeit in der Dusche verpuffen in Arroganz und endlicher Agression gegenüber dem reklamierenden […] Hotelgastes. Die Frechheit! Dann nach heftiger Intervention bei der Reception - Direktion sowieso NIE vorhanden - (Grund: der Duschestrahl funktionierte nur gegen den Badezimmerboden und überschwemmte das Zimmer) wechsel in anderes Zimmer. Resultat: Alte Bade/Duscharmatur mit schöner antiquarischer Patina und wiederum gefällig dicker Staubschicht auf dem Badetuchhalter! Mir würde nur noch übel. Mobiliar ist uralt, das grösste ist noch der riesige Röhrenfernseher mit ultrakleinem Bildschirm! Die Konstruktion der Zimmer lässt vermuten, dass auf dem letzten Zacken an der Isolation gespaart wurde, da ringesherum sämtliche Konversationen gehört werden können. Das wunderschöne und vibrante Taormina hat sicher qualitativ bessere Hotels zu bieten. Das Miramare ist bestenfalls eine 2 Sterne Studentenbude, macht aber auf Grandhotel, ein klarer Affront. Tun Sie sich den grössten gefallen - für einen nicht ruinierten Urlaub - und vermeiden Sie diese Blenderfalle! Lisätietoja
