199 spacious, light and comfortable rooms
The hotel has 199 spacious double/single rooms, some of which are suites. All rooms are light and comfortable, and many have wood floors. The hotel also has large double rooms with a sofabed and the option of extra beds. Wireless broadband internet access in all rooms and public spaces in the hotel.

Asuminen tässä hotellissa oli upea kokemus! Työntekijät olivat iloisia ja palvelu oli huippua. Mikään ei varmastikaan enään tunnu miltään tämän hotellikokemuksen jälkeen :) Ruoka oli avain huippua ja aamupala myöskin, suosittelen!

Hotelli on perushyvä, ja lisäksi erittäin kauniisti designattu. Aamiaiselle mennessä huomio kiintyi moniin hienoihin yksityiskohtiin ja erityisesti takaseinän kauneus nosti hymyn huulille. Lentokenttäbussin toiminta oli sujuvaa, katettu pysäkki ja lippuautomaatti kertovat siitä että asiakkaan mukavuudesta välitetään. Henkilökunnan huomaavaisuus keskivertoa tai parempi, ja hinta-laatusuhde paikallaan. Tarkoitukseni on majoittua toise4nkin kerran.

"Hyvä sijainti, mutta likainen huone"
Sijainti on loistava. Kaikki keskustan nähtävyydet lähellä, satama muutaman minuutin kävelymatkan päässä, samoin ratikkapysäkki. Lentokentältäkin pääsee tälle hotellille kätevästi hyppäämällä junaan ja kävelemällä noin 15 minuuttia Oslon rautatieasemalta - suurin osa matkasta keskustan kävelykatua pitkin. Henkilöt vastaanottotiskillä, aamupalaravintolassa […] ja baarissa olivat oikein ystävällisiä ja auttavaisia. Aamupala oli monipuolinen ja hyvä. Mutta itse huone oli totaalinen pettymys!!! Luettuani hotellin tietoja ja arvosteluja netistä, luulin saavani valoisan ja siistin huoneen parkettilattialla. Mutta huone olikin likainen, pimeä ja kokolattiamatolla varustettu. Ja kokolattiamatto oli likaisin, jonka olen koskaan nähnyt missään hotellissa!!! Se oli aivan täynnä pikku murusia, läikkiä ym. likaa, josta en edes halua tietää mitä kaikkea se piti sisällään. Eikä lika loppunut siihen; suihkunurkkauksen lattia näytti siltä, kun sitä ei olisi siivottu kunnolla puoleen vuoteen. Myös huoneen seinät olivat tahraiset - likaisemmat, kuin mitä tämän tähtiluokituksen saaneissa hotelleissa yleensä näkee. Lian lisäksi huoneessa häiritsi valon puute. Valaisimia oli liian vähän - varsinkin kylpyhuoneessa ja eteisessä. Esim. suihkunurkkauksessa ei ollut lainkaan valoa. Ainoat valot kylpyhuoneessa olivat käsienpesualtaan yllä, vastakkaisella puolella kylpyhuonetta, kuin suihkunurkkaus. Vaikka hotellin sijainti on muuten täydellinen, niin kaupungintalon kellojen lyönti 15 minuutin välein aikaisesta aamusta puolille öin antoi pienen miinuksen sijaintiin. Samoin vieressä oleva ravintola/clubi, jonka ulkopuolella ihmiset möykkäsivät iltaisin ja alkuyöstä. Onneksi vakiovaruste eli korvatulpat olivat mukana! En suosittele tätä hotellia kellekään ensisijaisena valintana Oslossa, vaikka positiivisiakin puolia löytyy. "Kaikki pelasi"
Hotelli oli erittäin hyvällä paikalla. Erittäin runsas aamiainen. Ainut ongelma oli huoneen sijainti sisäsaliin päin, jossa aamiaishuone. Äänet kantautuivat huoneeseen, jos ikkunaa piti auki.

Sijainti oli todella hyvä. Lähellä mm. kauppoja, satamaa (josta sai naposteltavaksi meren erikoisuuksia) ja baareja. Aamupala monipuolinen, eikä liian aikaista herätystä. "Hyvä sijainti"
Hyvä hotelli loistavalla sijainnilla (lyhyt matka niin ostoskadulle, kuin satamaankin). Ilmastoinnista huolimatta huoneessa oli turhan lämmin. Runsas, hyvä aamiainen. Suosittelen!

Stayed in a superior room on the 8th floor. Very nice interior desing, comfortable bed, quiet room, only noticable sound was from the bells of the city hall adn the usual party people singing in the street. "Oslo - capital of sleaze?"
The hotel is very ok at a central location. B U T what has happened to Oslo? Nowhere else in Europe I have experienced such a sleazy atmosphere (and I have been to most countries in both western and eastern Europe). Nice hotel and location. I did not like breakfast room: it was crowded in the artrium, we could not find available tables and the service was slow. As a result - stressfull instead of relaxing breakfast.
"Excellent alernative"
This hotel is an excellent alternative for those who don't want to spend upwards to $300 a night at the larger international chains. The buffet breakfast (included) makes it an even better value. Granted, you may not get the over-the-top feelings but considering the expense of dining and travel it's a great offset. "Hotel Rica Victoria, very central location"
The area outside the lift on the 6th floor had spillages, stains & used tea bags, not a very good impression when you step out of the lift for the first time, and to find it still there the next day.

The receptionist first put us (my wife and I) in a room with two twin beds. The room was also located next to the bar. They changed our room the next day when we requested it. In summary, adequate service, very good breakfast, and excellent location (near the city center and metro).

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Rica Victoria. The concierge is very friendly and helpful. Some helpful things that I found very positive at this hotel: 1. Free internet and wifi - Also free printing of anything you need. 2. Location, Location, Location. You are right in the center of downtown and literally a 2 -3 min wakl from the port area where […] you can take various sightseeing trips. 3. The breakfast - it blew me away. "Excellent Hotel with Incredible Breakfast"
The hotel is really beautiful inside, esp. the breakfast area. The included breakfast is one of the most incredible I have ever seen at a hotel. Huge buffet each day that is like some hotel's Sunday brunches for $40. We got a very good deal here, compared to other Oslo hotels, which tend to be quite expensive. We really liked where we were--close to harbour, back a block from the main streets. The staff at the hotel was very helpful--explaining sights, trains, buses etc. The breakfast was very good, and room was fine, with enough room, but not large. It was off-putting that the air conditioner/heat could not be controlled individually by each room (although […] there is a control, we were told did nothing other than change the fan speed--that did not even appear to be true)--at end of day, temperture was OK, but not sure how that would have worked in colder or warmer weather. The phone system was also not working (explained as being upgraded--I am not sure if true either). I stayed two nights on a business trip. It is a significant walk (with rollerboard luggage) from the central train station but do-able (I took a taxi on return). The front desk was very helpful and welcoming, the room was fresh, clean, roomy (but not spacious). The inroom coffee & tea and wireless internet kept me connected with work. We stayed at the Rica Victoria for two nights and found it to be a wonderful value. It was clean, comfortable and close to Karl Johans Gate and the waterfront. The price was very reasonable considering how expensive Oslo can be. I would definitely use the Rica again if I return to Oslo.

I had a very bad experience at this hotel arrving mid-evening in the pouring rain on a business trip. THe room I was given on the top floor was virtually vibrating with noise from something on the roof - I immediately asked for another room but was told they were full as were their other hotels. "Great Place to Stay"
The hotel was great! The room was large by Scandinavian standards. Very clean, and close to the Royal Palace. Was a great jumping off point for many museums as it was a short walk to the ferries by City Hall. Staff was very helpful, and let us secure our luggage for the day after we checked out. Staff were friendly. Room was nice and tidy, but far too warm. Location is very central but on a side street. Overall, would use it again.

The location is just great. It's close to train station, tram to Vingeland Park, and ferries to the FRAM museum. The included breakfast buffet was very nice that you barely need any lunch. With the cost of living at Oslo, this is truly a good deal. The only downside is the 6AM trash collection. I would bring ear-plugs if I were you.

The Rica hotel is within steps of Karl Johans Gate and within easy walking distance to Ager Brygge and the Palace. The Bus from the airport drops you off a few minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel was just a few blocks from major bus and tram lines to take you anywhere you wanted to go. It was just a few blocks walking from the harbor, ideal.

I dont think many of the hotels have air in Oslo but we happened upon this lovely city in the middle of a heat wave. The hotel did give us a fan to use which was helpful and we stayed out till very late so that we would not have to smolder in the room. The room we were given was inside so their were no windows. The outside located rooms probably had […] windows that opened which would have been okay. The location however was great. Walking distance to the palace and the harbor. Staff was very friendly. We did not get to enjoy the breakfast as we flew out quite early in the morning. I would recommend this for price and location just not during the hot time of the year. "Excellent Highly Reccomended"
My stay in the Rica Hotel was Excellent. The room was immaculately clean and very spacious. The staff were friendly. The Breakfast was excellent with a very wide choice of foods. I would highly recommend this hotel to any one and I will stay here again next time I am in Oslo.
El hotel es cómodo pero el baño no de un 4*. El desayuno los domingos se sirve a las 8:00 y los días festivos. En el viaje tuve dos días de estos, con lo que eso fue una gran incomodidad, aunque el último día me permitieron bajar unos minutos antes. El desayuno está bien y la localización buena.
