Hilton Garden Inn Athens Downtown - Ateena

The HGI was a great location in the Downtown Athens area. The staff was very friendly and the lobby was nice. They had fresh baked cookies out for the guests at no charge. Our room was bright and spacious but the bedding needs to be refreshed. It looked worn and dated. The bathroom was clean and nice. I would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. We were on a college tour at the University of Georgia. The hotel staff was very friendly, the location great, and we will definitely stay there again.

I came to this hotel looking for a facility close to the University of Georgia and nice restaurants. The location of this hotel was wonderful. The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. If I were to mention a negative, it would be the price. Very nice hotel next to the UGA campus. Walk to many great restaurants and live music venues as well as the campus. Nice sized rooms, wished the bed was a little more comfortable. Breakfast was good, and we enjoyed the small bar for meeting friends.

Was perfectly located, close to campus, and walking distance to all restaurants and bars. Full service Hotel - very accommodating and clean. Charged for parking, but is a congested area at night, I see their point. Nice work out room and business center. Highly recommend it.

They lured us in with the classic low rate before then adding this and that: $9.95 per person for breakfast, $9.95 for parking, etc. There was no need whatsoever to charge for parking, but if you're going to do it just tack it on to the rate. Especially liked the free food, free internet, and free coffee...

This is the hotel to stay in if you want to be in the center of town and within walking distance of the stadium. It is a BASIC hotel, but it is clean and had good customer service. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an easy Athens experience.

We were only there one night but found the hotel to be very nice, clean and in a great location. The staff was friendly. Only disapointments, though small, were that there was no complimentary breakfast, and that there was no mention about the charge for parking (could have parked out on the street otherwise). This was a nice hotel. A little pricey but clean. I don't mind paying extra if the hotel is clean. And if you check out other hotels in Athens, you'll find that "clean" is not always available. The breakfast buffet was expensive also ($11.00 for an omelet and $8.00 for cold foods) but they didn't charge for my daughter to eat. They have lots of events […] in Athens so be prepared for large numbers of people. This weekend had teenagers competing in some high school competition. They were loud until about 10:30 p.m. but I called the front desk and it got quiet after that. Overall, not worth $180.00 a night - I've stayed in much nicer for that price, but one of the only good options in Athens so you have to pay. Lisätietoja

Our stay at the Hilton would have been much nicer if we had been told about the HOSA convention. There were so many highschool children in the hotel and they were extremely loud and overwhelming. At night there was too much noise in the hallways outside our room, and many times we couldn't even get an elevator because each one was packed full with teenagers. […] I understand the issue about the elevators, but perhaps the teenagers could have been put all on the same floor together - that would have helped with the noise problem. Also, one last little item. We did not like a message being left on our phone from the hotel greeting us. When we saw the red light we had a concern that there was an emergency and work or home was trying to get in touch with us. Thank you very much for asking for our feedback.
