We enjoyed our stay, the room was comfortable, beds are harder than many hotels so a little adjusting there. Location was great, close to rail station, the MailBox, a shopping mall with great restaurants and turned out to be a few blocks from the car rental company we used. Wouldn't stay here again. The hotel don't look like the pics. Our room had a funny smell has soon as we walked in. The bed is soo soo soft its not that comfortable to sleep on. The bathroom also smelt and was so dark. The Bath and tiles and black staines on it. There was also finger prints left on the wallks wer someone may have had makeup and touched […] the walls. Very nice hotel. We were upgraded to business class for free, rooms huge, very pleased with the stay. Would stay again.

It was a really nice hotel however there was a little problem with the air conditioning not been cold so it was very uncomfortable to sleep on the first night, also when checking in my partners card details were taken incase we paid for any drinks etc however we were not told at any time £100 was to be taken out and then returned because this happened […] this ment he had to pay charges to his bank! The was a great hotel very close to Alexandra Theatre. Had a noisy fan that was sorted immediately. Very friendly, great hotel. Excellent.

1st room we were given was pokey with a tiny window and spectacular view of a grey concrete wall felt clostrophobic asked for room change happy to oblige new room was excellent and staff were lovely

Hotel is in a good location. Check in staff very pleasant and quick. Room was nice but decor a little tired but had everything you need. Great views, would have prefered to stay on a higher floor but nothing available. The view from the gym was great, bit dissapointed sauna was out of order as this was one of the attractions to the hotel. Bit of a mix […] up with breakfast as my confirmation stated it was included in the price but hotel had no record, this was finally resolved with several phone calls and trips up and down to reception and was worth it as the breakfast room was really pleasant and the food was good with a great selection. Stayed here before so know it was a pretty nice hotel. Checked in and went to room only to find the carpet in the room with a load of dirty stains and looked in desperate need of changing. Did not feel comfortable walking around bare feet, or even in my socks for that matter. Won't be staying there again

the hotel met all the standards we expected. in a perfect location where everything is easy to access. we had a fantastic weekend and enjoyed the comfort of the room. definately worth the price!

The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is heading towards its 10th anniversary and the decor of the room we stayed in was beginning to look dated. The location is good for the theatre, bull ring and hurst street/china town. We weren't told about the car parking situation and later found out we were entitled to a discount on the local NCP. The hotel was really nice but unfortunately the jaccuzzi was out of order and as I was there to relax I was looking forward to it but didn't find out until I got there! The mains in the bed room were all unplugged under furniture that was difficult to spot and there was no hair dryer so i had to call for one whilst trying to get ready - these are things […] I would have expected the chamber maids to have checked and put right before I arrived. Shame really. Biggest blow was at breakfast when I found a hair in my Omlette - that was breakfast over with! The hotel is conveniently located, it is a nice hotel and has large comfortable rooms but the personal touch has been missed somewhat which is a shame, but saying that, I like things to be perfect especially when I am on a break and paying to stay somewhere. Perfect stay, was a girls wkd away, called to request twin rooms in advance, good job we did as at check in the twin rooms were sold out! 8th floor, gd view. Small traffic niise. Great location. Good breakfast. All in all, v good stay

Breakfast was amazing so much choice. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious! Comfy big king size bed and the views over the city were lovely. The hotel is close to all the big attractions so walking is fine. bouncers on the door at night were also nice and friendly! you can even take a food into your room bonus!!

I booked this hotel as a birthday treat for my partner. We very much enjoyed our stay. All the staff was so helpful and friendly and the breakfast was great. The quality of the room and bedding is very good that we went out the very next day and bought the same bedding goose down. We would love to come back again in the very near future. Thank you

Served its purpose. Nice hotel for a nights stay in Birmingham. Went to HMV Institute to see a gig and then went shopping the following day.

there was a strong smell of sewage in the bathroom when you ran water in the sink , the view from our room was a brick wall and the beds were way too soft-not what is expected from a hotel chain such as the Radisson- avoid room 820

I visited this hotel to celebrate my friends birthday.Breakfast was appalling on a Sunday it is served until 12 myself my friend and then my brother who also stayed with his partner turned up at breakfast at 11. so there was plenty of time still left for breakfast. At first there were no plates, we had to wait 5 mins for plates to be stocked up,then […] we queued for hot breakfast and there was literally nothing left, a few beans and couple of tomatoes, so we waited and waited and waited, the queue was getting bigger and bigger, but with that said a lot of people could no longer be bothered to queue. We waited for 10 minutes and nothing, so I went over to the restaurant manager and asked what was taking them so long. She replied they ar stocking up and I said we have been waiting for 10 minutes now. So she went to find out what was going on. After this the so called chef popped out and replenished just the beans,and I asked how much longer everything else would be, she said not long, I explained we have been waiting for over 10 minutes, and she said that she was told everybody has been down for breakfast, I said we'll surely you have a list of who has and hasn't had breakfast, and she said yes and this is why they were told breakfast had finished. We waited a further 10 or so minutes for everything to be replenished. It was ridiculous, I have stayed at many hotels and I have never known anything like this. It was appalling and so disorganised. The hotel was well presented and in a good location for the centre of Birmingham. The only negative aspect is the parking, in local NCP in a back street around the corner ( not ideal for someone on their own!)

Great hotel with an amazing view. It was my partners birthday and the hotel upgraded us to business class with some complimentary raspberries and meringues which made it really special. The view was incredible and it was a great location.

The hotel is ideal for New Street Station, right in the centre of Birmingham. The staff were fantastic throughout my stay from check-in to check out. It was a Sunday night and the restaurant was closed so I ate in the bar but the food was great, and well priced. we have stopped at this hotel several times, it has always been clean, the staff friendly and the room as always, soooo comfortable. Good location we stay here when we go to the theatre so the position is good.

Main attraction of this hotel is it's location and free wifi. Staff are good at customer service but the hotel itself looks a bit tired in places and food is average for the prices charged. Have had better breakfasts elsewhere; choice was fine but hot food not warm enough, tea not warm enough and yoghurt tasted like a supermarket basics sugary syrup. […] Bed and pillows very comfortable.
