Room was ok and suprisingly good place to stay in comparing to other 2 star motels/hotels. Sfaff was friendly and bathroom was in a good condition. Only minus was that the room smelled little.

The best thing about the stay was the hot water. This was truly a case of low cost being low all over. The view out back was trash, old tree trunks, trash and an interesting chipmunk running back and forth through the rubble.There was no amenities: extra towels, bath soap, coffee, bottled water, lotion, initially the TV had no sound. The Bedford Hotel is a simple, clean and well located property, close to the highway and many amenities. Rooms include a microwave and refrigerator, which were both helpful. They provide free internet, which worked very well, and my room was clean and well maintained. It's bare bones, no in-room coffee maker or breakfast, but there are restaurants close […] by. First of all, we reserved a room with 1 queen size bed and when we checked in we got a room with 2 full size beds. It was supposed to be a non-smoking room, but there was an ashtray. There was no mirror in the bathroom and the water power in the shower was poor at best. I inspected the room before I even put my stuff down. The bathroom and bed were clean. The microwave and fridge were also clean. The staff were nice and very helpful. I actually added another night to my stay. The only negative thing about this motel is that it isn't that close to Boston...it's about 30 minutes away driving.

This is a fine little motel at a fantastic price, especially this close to Boston. From the outside, it's not much to write home about, but the rooms are clean and quiet and the owners are friendly and helpful.

I couldn't even fall asleep in this hotel the room was so stinky. I was told it is a nonsmoking but the smell was unbearable.

This is an old-fashioned motel, with rooms situated around a courtyard. You basically drive up to the front door of your room. Room was clean and had all that one needs. This was our second visit to the Bedford Motel, and we expect to return. The Bedford Motel must have been built some time in the 1950s, and clearly not much has changed. It's a classic American motel: a one-story ring of rooms around a big parking lot, with parking spaces at each door. The fixtures have seen some use -- chipped enamel in the shower […] stall, etc. But the place is kept meticulously clean, and both times we've found it to be very, very quiet--even on New Year's Eve. The woman at the front desk is friendly and pleasant. The beds are comfortable -- somewhat firm but not hard, and they don't collapse under you in a trough so that you roll into your partner. The bedding is in good condition. We put out the Do Not Disturb sign and were not disturbed, which I've learned not to take for granted. And it's the cheapest place in the area. If what you're looking for is an elegant hotel, or a friendly backpacker's hostel, this is not the place for you, but if all you want is a clean, quiet, relatively inexpensive place to sleep, the Bedford Motel is a good bet. The quality of the location depends on where you want to be. The motel isn't in a very walkable area, but it's easy to drive to from Route 95. Handy for visits to Lexington, Arlington, and around. The Bedford Motel is a good place to stay on a budget. It's clean and well maintained. It doesn't have frills, but it's a surprisingly comfortable interpretation of the 20th-century roadside motel. Aside from the microwave and mini fridge and big cable tv, could have stayed in a similar room 30-40 years ago. Great location in a quiet area, enough restaurants and stores so that you can get dinner and incidentals. In the room everything worked and was clean. Really out of the way, but I stayed here because it was the cheapest, most semi-decent motel available. I stayed alone and it was really creepy at night being alone. I was commuting to a wedding in Boston and I kept telling my friends I was staying at the Bates Motel. The view from my room was a CREEPY junkyard with old cars and wooden crates. There […] was a man pacing outside of my room door supposedly waiting for someone/something next door. I was alone and I'm a 29 year old female, so ya, I was creeped out. The front desk smelled old and my room smelled like my dorm room from college, but the bed and furniture appeared new/updated. There was free Wi-Fi, but I just watched tv. It's a motel (and an old one at that), but it had everything that was necessary. One note: "late check-in" here means that you'd better be there before 11:00 PM, because no one is at the office between 11:00 PM and 7:30 AM.

We stayed for Colombus weekend and it was packed!! At that price you can't go wrong!! Very comfortable beds, no weird odors and its clean!! The only downside if I may say... No coffe machine in rooms. But I would recommand this motel high 5!!!

It was worth the price and the staff was pleasant but this place really needs to be updated. The wallpaper was bubbling and the bathroom was very outdated. The location of the motel is in a great neighborhood!! I would stay here again!!

A nice motel easy to find and close to the centre of old Bedford town, close to many historical sites with easy access to the interstate. Concord is really close and a must see for those interested in history. Our room was a good size, nice and clean, we thought the bathroom was a little dated but it was clean and that was really important. The bed was really comfortable, clean and soft to sleep on which meant we were guaranteed a good nights sleep. We weren't bothered by noise from other guests (even though we had neighbours at either side each night) and a quiet location off the main road made such a difference as Bedford is a really busy place. Overall we were pleasantly surprised. The room had a fridge and a microwave we used both. The only downside really was there was no facility for making coffee/tea. Coffee is available only until 11am in the reception area so if you want a hot drink in your room either buy it from the Starbucks or you could buy mugs and coffee etc and boil water in the microwave that's what we did. Complimentary breakfast in the morning was a coffee and a heavily sugared danish (if you got there early that is). So be prepared. We didn't really see the owners other than to say hello. The motel has a very 50s look, which I thought was great. The room was spotless, the bed comfortable, the shower had water pressure, and the staff was very nice. I will be staying there everytime I need to be in Boston. As a bonus, there is a great ice cream shop right next door. The rooms are a bit dated, but clean, functional, new TV/Cable/Wifi and a fullsized fridge, chair, table.. The road (Rt 4) is a busy road in the morning, and that's only an issue if you plan to commute into 128 during rush hour... Otherwise it was quiet and mello.. A great value.. I will stay there again..

We were on our way to Maine and needed to find a place to stay on the way near Boston. The price was good and the room was spacious. The breakfast wasn't very good. It consisted of sticky buns in a wrapper and coffee. We may stay there in the future.

This place is a dump,bathroom was dirty,towels were stained with blood, sheets were to short for the bed and when I told so at the front desk the guys looked at us as we were picky, also there is no continental breakfast, only some coffee,we stayed here for 3 nights, every morning we get to the lobby to catch the "continental breakfast" at 9 am we were […] told that was too late for the coffee too. I found the hotel dank, dingy, horribly musty, and only marginally clean. The room, and the hotel in general, was poorly maintained, and lacking many amenities one would expect in even a two-star motel.

The room was very simple but clean. Staff very helpful with information on nearest subway station. Bedford is a small safe town next to Concord.

This hotel was just what we needed--a decent place to stay the night while we took day trips to surrounding areas. The management was kind and thoughtful. The water in the shower was hot! I would definitely stay there again.

Bedford Motel has very homey, clean, comfortable rooms with everything you may need. Not what you would expect to get with the low price you pay. Excellant experience will definitely stay there again.

This is an old-style motel, still use brass keys vs. passcards. Room was clean, big, the wireless internet actually works, so for about half the price of anything else around it is a pretty good deal - but not the Ritz.

If you just need a cheap place to sleep this place is perfect. If you want amenities and fancy furniture and decor, this place is not for you. But the folks who run the place are super nice, the bed was comfy, and the room was clean. It was quiet at night. And next door is an amazing local ice cream shop. Yum.
