Jos huone olisi ollut vielä vähän pienempi, sängyt eivät olisi enää sinne mahtuneet! Tallelokero ei toiminut, jääkaappi ei toiminut, eikä kumpaakaan pyynnöistä huolimatta saatu korjattua. Mutta sängyt olivat oikein hyvät ja pyyhkeet vaihdettiin joka päivä. Lämmintä vettäkin tuli, tosin liruttamalla. Edullinen hinta huomioon ottaen ok hotelli. Hyvä sijainti metropysäkin lähellä ja josta suora yhteys lentokentälle. Hyvä palvelu respassa ja aamiainen ihan kohtuullinen. Huoneen kunnossa ja siisteydessä toivmisen varaa, mutta hintaansa nähden ihan ok.

Sijainniltaan hyvä; rauhallinen alue, mutta kaikki oleelliset palvelut lähellä. Metropysäkki vieressä, josta lyhyt matka kaikkiin tärkeimpiin nähtävyyksiin, kauppoihin jne. Hotellihuone erittäin pieni (varattu kolmelle hengelle) ja yllätykseksemme hotellissa oli liian kuuma; tuuletin piti olla päällä lokakuun lopussa! huone oli pienen pieni ja siinä oli paksu kokolattiamatto. myös kylpyhuone oli hyvin vaatimaton, ja suihkussa piti käydä wc-pöntön vieressä seisoen. kylpyhuoneen ja huoneen välillä ei myöskään ollut minkäänlaista kynnystä, joten vesi tulvi huoneen puolelle. haisi homeelle. hotellin sijainti oli tosin erinomainen ja palvelu ok.

All single rooms are located in basement and have bars in the windows. I think that it would be honest to give this information on the web-page. In my reservation I wished a room in upper floors. I would have appreciated information that this is not possible and I was very disappointed to have an underground room. My room was very, very tiny, and I […] felt rather claustrophobic under the ground. The shower was in the 40 cm wide small space between toilet seat and the wall and there were no shower curtains, so the toilet was wet after the shower. There was only cold water in the shower (the receptionist told that this is not possible! However, I didn't see him showering). Hotellihuoneemme oli pienen pieni = ei ollut tilaa avata matkalaatikkoa, paitsi jos nosti sen sängyn päälle. Vaatteille ei kuitenkaan ollut mitään muuta säilytyspaikkaa lukuunottamatta muutamaa henkaria, joten toimiminen huoneessa oli pelkkää sähellystä. The hotel room in itself was fine considering the price; the only negative thing was a faint smell of the sewer from time to time (room was below street level, but with a window). The issue that made us very worried for safety was that we discovered, accidentally, that our key opened everyone else's doors! We asked the staff about this after our arrival, […] and their response was that this is a malfunctioning and they will call technical help to come and fix it. The next morning - after making sure we jam our door shut with luggage for the night - we were told that we were given the wrong key by accident. Whichever is the truth, I would not sleep here again. They also ask for a 40-50 pound deposit for the key and remote control. If you don't have cash, they offer you the possibility of swiping your credit card and giving the pin number, in case they later have to charge for a missing key or remote. Hotellimajoitus oli edullinen. Vanha rakennus, kapeat ja mutkikkaat käytävät. Twin-bead huone sopiva , n. 3,5 x 4m. Hintaan nähden, erittäin siisti ja viihtyisä hotelli. Lähellä metroasemaa ja muutenkin sijaitsi hyvällä alueella. Parin yön yöpymiseen oikein hyvä valinta.

Very modest, but clean hotel. Nice staff and the breakfast was ok. Hot water all the time! Can warmly recommend to anybody who doesn't want to pay too much for a hotel stay in London. Fine location, too.

My daughter and I spent one night at this hotel, which was very convinient since it was just around the corner from Earl's Cort subway station. Small rooms and not in too good condition, but a good place to rest between all the sightseeing.

we were given a twin room rather than double. 5 foot crack in the tiles in shower cubicle, dirty bedspreads, broken crockery. the list goes on. Breakfast room so cramped you could hardly move, breakfast had very little choice. when complained to the manager, he was most unsympathetic, and the staff felt unable to help, they just referred you to the […] manager. This place really isn't bad considering the low cost for staying a night. It's right around the corner from Underground station, neighborhood is decent, short ride away from Paddington station. The hotel is really clean. The reception staff are so friendly and helpful. I had a difficulty booking a show online and they rant the theatre for me from the desk. The room was tiny, it was so compact and had all we required ie fridge, tea-coffee making, safe etc however we could not pass each other by between the beds. The bathroom was clean and […] tidy with a good shower. The location was brilliant with a 2 minute walk to the tube and it was on a great line right into Leicester square and Piccadily circus. The hotel is in a nice location, still there were a lot of things that should be fixed. There were't real blankets, only some woolen blankets which were for this time of the year too thin. They offered no cover for the woolen blankets and we were sure, that they haven't been washed for a little while. After leaving we had seen that they haven't brought […] fresh blankets into the room. Another problem was even more worse. There was mold in the room. We stayed for some nights and after waking up we both felt sick, my wife had a lot of problems because of the mold. Her lungs were hurting nearly every morning. WE CAN'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR PEOPLE WITH ASTHMA OR THOSE WHO REACT EASILY ON MOLD! The service was still nice, the breakfast ok, but not good. This is a great hotel for the weekend gang with a plain continental breakfast to start your day. The room was small as expected but cosy with a on suite bathroom big enough for us three girls. We arrived early and it was no problem to put our bags in the luggage-room but on departure day it cost us 5£ to store, as it does on other hotels. All and all […] this is a sweet hotel with sweet staff. One thing to know tough; they took a deposit of £50 for the TV remote-control! The location is excellent as it only takes few minutes to the underground. But as I stayed on the first floor. It is a bit noisy in the morning when the tube is running. besides the room is quite small and TV channelis choice is limited.

if you dont mind a run down hotel

Stayed in a single en suite room for 1 night. Basic but perfectly acceptable for the price of the hotel. Fantastic location would definitely stay here again!!

Perfect, especially for a theatre weekend! Small, but clean and comfortable, and very convienient to tube and city centre. Will definitely stay again!

The hotel was pretty clean. The rooms were small, but if you are simply looking for a comfortable, clean, and very easily accessible hotel to stay in after exploring London for the day, this hotel is perfect for you. It´s incredibly close to the Earl´s Court tube stop, from which you can get anywhere.

This was very good value for money. The room was clean with its own shower/WC, well located, friendly staff and the breakfast was pretty good also.

Very close to tube station, nice staff, surrounded by some great restaurants. Also plenty of convenience stores to buy anything you need. Rooms were cosy, options on tv were very good and rooms were cleaned daily. Would definitely visit again.

Tiny rooms - absolutely no room for anything but sleeping. Tiny bathroom as well but lots of warm water and clean. The breakfast room was terribly noisy and there wasn't room for everyone. The breakfast was lousy: only toast, eggs, butter, jam and cheese. NO yoghurt or fruit. The staff was OK

Compared to price the location of the Oxford Hotel was perfect for our trip! 1-2 minute walk to underground station and pharmacy, bank automat, post office, pubs, cafes, etc. near the station. We got room quite cheap and didn't expect to get anything luxurious with that sum. Room was a bit weary: carpet was more or less spotty, but "clean" I think. […] Bathroom/toilet was clean and we got warm water from shower. Sheets and towels were clean. We got room from the bottom floor, and it was quite cold, but there were extra blankets so no problem. Windows are not very tight; cigarette smoke came to our room from the outdoor stairs where people went to have a smoke, but that's not so serious I guess.. After we read the previous feedbacks, we were expecting very small room, but in our case it was spacious. Breakfast was toast, jam, eggs, cheese and cereals. I recommed this hotel to anyone who is travelling with low budget and doesn't want to spend too much time in a hotel room. Location and clean bathroom/warm shower water were more than I expected in London with the price we payed. I would/will book a room again some day! Lisätietoja

This hotel is absolutely perfect, regardless its small rooms. Its location is very satisfactory (2 min from the underground station - Piccadilly line- 1 min from food shops) It is also a very luxurious location with many good shops around. the rooms are clean, warm in winter without the heater, the TV was excellent (20 channels), and the breakfast was […] good. if you want to see london, this is an excellent place to stay. minutes from earl's cournt tube stop, great resturants within 2 or 3 minutes walking. friendly staff. rooms are small but very clean and tidy. breakfast rooms were crowded but staff was wonderful getting tables cleared and food stocked. choice of toast, rolls, cereals, juice,coffee and  […] tea. Very convenient location, but hotel was exactly what you'd expect for the money. Tired, rundown and grubby. The bed linen was dirty, the carpet was dirty and the cups and saucers had not been washed since the previous occupants. The hotel is in good location as its just round the corner from Earls Court tube station. The hote itself is clean and tidy but many things wrong with it. I was put in a room with no windows and the room was just barely big enough for its double bed. The room was baking hot as the radiator valve was behind the wardrobe that was between it and the […] bed so it cannot be altered. There was a kettle in the room but no coffee, cheers for that. I stopped in this hotel for a quick overnight stay as I had to pick family up from Heathrow at 4am. Upon entering the hotel, I was greeted by a nice, friendly and warm reception. The hotel looks lovely from the outside. I was asked for a deposit of fifty pounds for incremental charges, which I later found out to be a deposit for my timely check out, […] return of the room card key AND the TV remote control. what irked me the most is that, when I left (at 4am) the money was not instantly refunded in to my bank account, leaving me fifty quid worse off which, at this time of year (just before Christmas) is very unhelpful. Four days later on, the money has eventually returned to my account. I would recommend that you take cash to ensure your immediate return of funds. Anyhow, the room was ok but I was kept awake by the sound of the people upstairs showering. I could hear, quite loudly, the sound of water running through pipes. Also, the gap at the bottom of my door was about 3 inches, meaning that any noise made in the corridor travelled through to my room. The towel rail was hanging off the wall and the double bed was two uneaven singles pushed together meaning one was about two inches higher than the other. At least the room was clean, though, and the shower was nice and warm. All in all, if you're after a cheap place to stay in a fantastic location then this is probably for you, however, I would recommend a few night caps to help get you off and have cash for your deposit. A really British, nice and cozy little hotel (small, narrow aisles, quite thin walls but still quiet, lots of stairs and wall-to-wall carpet). Just great location, 1 minute to the District and Piccadily Line -tube routes. It's a fact, that the room IS small, but you're not spending there time anyway, so what does it matter. Toilet was clean, shower […] was really small and water pressure was really low and only hot or cold. We didn't find how to control the air condition, we slept window open, but the staff will help if you ask. Breakfast was eggs, orange juice, coffee and toasts, but Marc & Spencer Food shop is near, so we bought our breakfasts from there and put it to the minibar. Room was very very small. We booked a double room but had two single beds pushed together. Bedroom needed a touch up for the decorating. Breakfast was cornflakes and toast and finished bang on time. The hotel's bedrooms are too small but clean enough. Sometime's it's too warm. For breakfast, the room is too busy and congested. People have to wait for a table. Breakfast doesn't include any fruits for good balance of diet. However, overall, the best for this hotel is its convenience of the location.

Room & bathroom v. small, but clean. Breakfast good with eggs, cheese etc. Short walk round corner to Earl's Court Tube enabling quick journeys to all the sights. For the price - a very good deal and we would stay again.

The location of the hotel was fantastic. My room was a horror, in the basement under the lobby so the constant noise of suitcase wheels! My bar fridge did not work and the items I bought spoiled! I broke my toe on a vacuum that was left right outside my door. The staff were friendly, overall.

What I paid for a night at this hotel was expensive in my opinion. It was basic but clean. I booked a double room but got a single which wasn't such a big issue as I was travelling on business on my own, however I would have preferred a double bed. The breakfast room was tiny and there were people queuing for a table to free up - I couldn't wait so […] had to endure a McD breakfast next to the station. If you want to stay near a tube station with local pubs and shops it's a great hotel. Very safe neighborhood and close to London. No issues with hotel or staff...very pleasant stay and would highly recommend this hotel.
