Erittäin hieno sijainti aivan rannan äärellä. Hotellin sijainti on merkitty karttoihin väärin - on Bereybere -rannan pohjoispäässä noin 3 km Grand Baiestä. Kulkuyhteydet ovat hyvät ja Bereyberen palvelun äärellä, joten sijainti jopa parempi kuin kartoissa.

Saavuimme lentokentältä hotelliin 29.10. 2011 klo 11 aikaan aamupäivällä. Yllätyimme suuresti, kun taksi-auto vei meidät aivan eri paikkaan kuin mikä oli merkitty hotellin sijainniksi esitekartalla (hotelli sijaitsi Grand Baie lahden toisella puolella 3 km päässä esitekarttaan merkitystä paikasta)! Selvisimme "yllätyksestä" melko nopeasti hotellin henkilökunnan järjestämän miellyttävän tervetulo seremonian ja virkistävän coctailin ansiosta. Hetken odottelun jälkeen saimme hyvän huoneen rakennuksen kolmannesta kerroksesta. Standard huone oli loistavassa kunnossa, hämmästyttävän hyvin sisustettu ja tilan käyttö erinomainen. Huoneen parveke avautui uima-altaille päin kukkivien puiden varjostaessa sitä sopivasti. Nukuimme yöt parvekkeen oven ollessa auki ja heräsimme aamulla lintujen kauniiseen lauluun. Meillä oli puolihoitopaketti (aamiainen ja illallinen). Tämä oli ihan hyvä ratkaisu ja todennäköisesti suhteellisen edullinen. Ruoka oli erinomaisen hyvää ja valinnanvaraa oli runsaasti. Ruokailuajat olivat sopivia (aamiainen klo 7 -10 ja illallinen klo 19 - 22). Hotellin siisteys ja uima-altaiden puhtaus oli kiitettävää. Hotellin sijainti osoittautui loistavaksi. Kaupunki Grand Baie on kävelyetäisyydellä hotellista. Veden ja muiden tarvikkeiden nouto marketeista oli vaivatonta. Koska juomat hotellissa olivat erittäin kalliita, niin tämä oli tervetullut helpotus. Hotellilla on oma pieni uimaranta. Hyvä julkinen uimaranta on parinsadan metrin päässä hotellista. Lähellä hotellia on Mervillen ranta ja 1,2 km päässä Pereyberen ranta. Nautimme auringonotosta ja uimisesta 3,5 km etäisyydellä hotellista olevalla Mont Choisyn liidunvalkealla rannalla. Mont Choisyn rannalla tapasimme ystävällisen ja luotettavan taksi-autoilijan, jonka turvallisessa kyydissä kiersimme saaren nähtävyyksiä katsomassa kolmena päivänä. We stayed two weeks in this hotel and were really happy. Location is really nice, less than five minutes walk from one of the best beaches in Mauritius. Closeby are also some nice restaurants, tour agencies and frequent bus connections to bigger towns and capital city. Room was big, but little empty. Everything necessery was included, most important to us were safe and air conditioning. Breakfast was great, including fresh fruits, omelettes the way you wanted them, sausages, toasts and other. There was also possibility for lunch and buffet dinner, but we decided to try out different restaurant every day for diner. Staff was friendly and helped out us every time we needed something. There was also possibility to leave the luggage and have a shower after the checkout. This was great service, since we had evening flight and could spend the day at the beach instead of waiting six hours at the airport.

Mukava pieni hotelli todella hyvällä paikalla, Pereyberen rantaa vastapäätä. Hotellin vieressä useita ravintoloita, aamiainen valittavissa kahden ravintolan välillä, molemmat hyviä. Henkilökunta ystävällistä ja avuliasta, siistit huoneet. Uima-allas ja muut (sauna) eivät ole kuvien veroiset. Grand Bayhin lyhyt matka, bussi menee hotellin edestä todella usein ja on halpa tapa matkustaa. Pereybere on pieni kylä jossa ei ole kovin paljoa tekemistä mutta Grand Bay lähellä ja siellä on myös hyvät rannat ja enemmän kauppoja ja ravintoloita.

Having stayed in resorts on the island's westcoast as well as on the northcoast, Lux Belle Mare on the eastcoast is surprisingly nice. Very good beach resort, nice pool area and gardens. Inhouse restaurants are good, particularly the Beachrestaurant (yes, on the beach) is open for lunch as well as dinner. If you don't like music (evening entertainment) […] in the open general area, ask for a room further away from this central court; in our junior suite we were lucky we couldn't hear it. Only minus point: the room had no curtains, only wooden blinds, so the sun comes in the room early mornings. "Beautiful hotel for families"
This hotel is beautiful with a great lay out and a great beach. The stuff is very nice and tries hard, however at times is simple outnumbered by guests. Rooms are comfortable but our cleaning never got done before 4-5pm probably due to the room being at the end of the property. Beach is beautiful however more for relaxing and rather than long swims […] due to limited space before the safety robes. Breakfast buffet is very good, however rest of the food is just average at best. Food was the only thing hat was disappointing. There are a lot of families around so hotel is more for families with children rather than honeymooners. In summary, great property for families with beautiful beach but with bad food (except for breakfast). We have also been to other much more expensive hotels for dinner and I can say that this hotel is very good for money if you want to escape to paradise without spending a fortune. Lisätietoja

El hotel es bellisimo, los jardines, todo muy,muy bello, la playa es la mejor de la isla, andube por otras en el norte y el oeste, y esta es la que tiene la arena blanca como talco, es espectacular, lo unico es que en esta epoca hace mucho viento pero no es frio. "毛里求斯的Beau Rivage Hotel & Villas"
酒店房屋具有当地特色，海滩、风景都挺不错的，非常漂亮。 我们住的junior suite，房间设施看上去有一定年纪了，可能比较适合年纪大点的人，床比较硬，没有索菲特的舒服。 吃得还可以，但是餐厅的服务，一到人多的时候就有点跟不上。 值得称道的那里的风景和沙滩、海要比西边好。

From Barbados to Korea and from South Africa to Island we have visited a vast number of hotels and resorts for both pleasure and business. However, our visit to the Beau Rivage on Mauritius will always be one of the most outstanding experiences we have had.
