"Close to where I had to be"
I only stayed one night but the location was perfect for what I needed. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. I usually take my own pillows when traveling because most inns have horrible pillows. This place had good pillows, so good I did not have to use my own. "Good meeting place for the family."
Check in was speedy, room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast room could have been a little bigger. Food was enough to get us started on our day. Discounts at Sapp Brothers was helpful and food was good. Even though we were next to a truck stop it was pretty quiet. We in Nebraska City for the Apple Festival and may go again next year. This is a great place to stay if you want to save money when visiting Nebraska City, NE. It's about a 10 minute drive from Arbor Day Farm and Lied Lodge as well as the downtown's attractions. The staff was very nice. My family of 4 had a spacious 2 bed room. Everything in the room worked, including the in-room fridge (which came in handy). "Easily accessible, 4 miles from Nebraska City, NE"

"Great Pie"
This hotelis behind a truck stop, but it is quiet and clean. They give you a 5 cent discount on gas at the truck stop during your stay and 10 % off all meals at their cafe. The food was great, especially the pies. All deep dish, good, and cheap. I even got the 10% off items on sale. The hotel was a standard Super 8 and OK. The only problem I had was […] the in room water was full of salt. I think this is because the river was flooded nearby. I'd stay here again if in the area, mainly for the pie.
