We stayed at the Imperial Court Hotel in May 2011. The hotel was situated in a brilliant location and the first impression was very nice thanks to a helpful reception worker. However, this is where the positive notes seized to exist. The level of service in the hotel was beneath any appraisal; most of the times the personnel seemed almost hostile towards […] the customers! Most of the staff showed absolutely no indication of helful customer service approach. The rooms were not cleaned, nore were the sheets changed without a separate request. And even though you requested room to be cleaned "asap" it was done earliest at 6pm. There is no way we would ever go to this hotel again, nor would we recommend it to anyone. Lisätietoja

Hotelli oli miellyttävä ja siisti. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja muutenkin oikein onnistunut loma. Tulisin kyllä tähän hotelliin uudestaankin. :)

Stayed here for just over a week. I don't think you could get a better value hotel in this area. We got a Queen room upgraded from a double for free. The room was large and clean. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and always there. This is not the greatest hotel I have ever stayed in but for this price I wouldn't expect it to be. Great value […] great stay. Good value for the money. Room was clean and service everyday. We have stayed there 3 times before. This time, although we bought it to the front desk's attention, for most of the 12 day stay we did not have a working phone in our room, we never received the extra blanket we requested and we had to ask several times for other services/items. good location for visiting NY by metro (only 300m from the hotel), queen room is rather large and confortable (good bed and small kichen) but still a bit vintage ..., this is not a new and clean type of designed hotel as you can find in Time Square for double of the price ; close to central park and Amsterdam avenue where you can find plenty of restaurants; […] finally good economic deal , location and acceptable confort.... Hotel is location is fantastic! Close to dentist restaurants, parks, chemists, bars and shopping!! It's a pity that hotel is not maintained! Eveything is patched up, and found coakcroaches in bathroom. Toilet did not flush well and was not cleaned properly. There was mould on tiles and basin.

Upon arriving the staff were very rude. They refused to check us in before 3pm even though there were many people waiting. Once the clock struck 3, they weren't even sure if they had a room for us. Throughout the stay the staff were rude. The room, bed and bathroom was clean which was important to us. The bed was comfortable and rooms were services […] daily. The room was old and the carpet was full of marks. Location was good, we cannot complain there. It was close to the subway, close to a few deli's with great food and there were some nice restaurants in the area. It allowed for quick access to the rest of the city and we felt very safe walking around at night and in the surrounding areas. Over all - location was great and I'll give a 9 out of 10, the rooms were clean (8 out of 10), but are dated and need a revamp, the staff were very rude (2 out of 10). Id'e say it's is as good value for money hotel as it gets, and I'll use this the next time I travel to NY definitively. I don't stay in the room any, except sleep, shower and maybe eat a little brought-in. Stayed there twice, last was 3 years ago and I've used 3 other hotels in the city. I like it's location, as I like quick access central park. […] I need lazy days too when visiting NY. I read some reviews about staff not being helpful or nice, but my experience is the opposite. That said I don't rely on the staff for anything about NY, I use the internet for that. The rooms are a little worn, but a lot larger than expected. The AC works (which is my biggest fear). The bed is comfortable. The TV is small. I enjoy the kitchen (especially the dedicated fridge), which you don't get in many hotels. The Internet fee is a little expensive. You stand in an old tub when showering (which may be normal, but I don't like it). I don't like the way they keep the baggage before the room is ready on check-in day, or when keeping it the day you leave. They put it in the reception area, and it just doesn't feel very well secured. Was there 2 full weeks, and had 2-3 times where we came to our room and our room wasn't done. This hotel leaves a lot to be desired. I was greated by a gentleman at the front desk who was not wearing a uniform and looked like someone right off the street. He asked me for my credit card and ID's without saying hello or good afternoon. I prepaid my entire stay and was still charged $200 as an upfront payment for "just in-case" charges to the room. […] I asked for the money to be returned as I did not forsee even using the phone in the room and the guy said it was policy. Policy which was not told to me in any way. I rented 2 rooms and asked for them to be on the same floor in advance and we were completely given diffrent floors. The other issue with the room was the AC. The AC in the rooms where the box kind that go in the window and we had to change rooms twice because they did not work. Once we were in a room where the AC worked the issue was that housekeeping would turn it off everyday after making the beds. When we would arrive in the rooms late at night we would come to a room that was like an oven. We complained and we were told that it was policy for the hotel staff to turn off the AC units so it would not break down. This was a constant issue for us as it was so hot in the city . The hotel housekeeping did not make the beds or provide towels for 3 of the 9 days we were there. The fridge in the room was cold but the frezzer did not work and leaked in the kitchen. It was was missing a leg so we had to prop it with some folded up newspaper. Upon check out we were told that there was no shuttle avaliable to take us to the airport, something that I was told was a service that the hotel provides. I was shocked at all the issues at the hotel and the lack of help from the front desk. I plan to not come here ever again. Lisätietoja

Located in a nice neighborhood,convient to subways and busses very quite. No luxury but good value for the money.

is it old? Yes does it need renovation? Yes. But , the hotel is very comfortable and in a great neighborhood. Riverside park in down the street. Zabars is around the corner. The #1 subway is at the end of the street. It just doesn't get any better. This was my third trip to New York and the best time I have spent in New York. I booked my trip late and the Imperial Court was my only option for the budget I was on. At first I was a bit concerned about how far it was from the centre of manhattan but I was surprised how good the location was on my arrival. The hotel its self was very good and the […] staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that has been to New York before. Although we prefer to stay in the theatre district, this is a convenient location in a quiet neighborhood and we've always gotten a good rate. The rooms are twice or three times the size of comparable midtown hotels. The kitchenette is economical, too--we enjoy coffee and oatmeal in our room before hitting the streets.

After having read the one review about bedbugs, I was skeptical but I couldn't afford much more. However, my 18 yr old daughter and I traveled on 8/4/09 and stayed a week here. The room was pretty much as most reviews have said, small room but for NY pretty standard. If you're looking for fancy,you won't find it here, but the room was clean and several times during trip we asked for extra towels and received them promptly. Desk staff (at night when we checked in, not sure of young fellow's name) was very friendly, very helpful and attentive. I was very impressed. We stayed in room 231. It was not noisy at all. air conditioner was working. Free internet was important factor to us as well. We had issues getting it hooked up (I'm a novice) and had to call front desk 3 times, he was so helpful and patient, every call. No view, but hey I was in NY!! Great location one block from the subway. Very peacefull not lot of noise.Air condicioner in my room not very good condicions they need to improved.

Die lage war gut in der Nähe 3-5min wa die Metro. Zimmer könnten sauberer sein, auch Webb der Preis ok war. Wir würden night mehr hin, auch wen die Lage und Preis gut war. Sauberkeit gehört auch dazu. Die Betten waren auch esteem alt und die Decken auch. Die Badetücher wurden jeden Tag ausgetauscht.

Bon rapport qualité prix, hotel bien situé par rapport au metro, personnel tres sympathique! Fausse note nous sommes arrivé et nous avons eu la chambre 141 qui est d'une propreté tres douteuse (pas de pression, dans la douche, evier de la kitchinette bouché, impossible de s'assoir droit sur le toilette, vue excecrable, rdz, bruit, lit douteux et aucune […] place pour circuler une fois les valises ouvertes) apres avoir vu avec l'accueil nous avons pu changer facilement de chambre pour une beaucoup plus grande et confortable donc sur ca rien a dire car changement de chambre sans augmentation de tarifs... マンハッタンの便利な場所でこの価格なら仕方ないのかもしれません。 フロントは非常に横柄で、普通のホテルのようなトレーニングを受けていません。たとえば、荷物を預かってもらうのにタグは自分でつけないといけないし、引き取る時の回収も。一つ一つの対応がかなり横柄でした。(愛想のよいフロントのひとも一人だけいました) 部屋はともかく、シャワーや洗面台は非常に小さいです。ベッドもよくない。 同じ価格帯で近隣の別のホテルに引っ越しました。

Et udemærket hotel tæt på Central Park. Linje 1 på metroen stopper ca. 100 meter fra hotellet. Komfort og pris på hotellet var fint når det primære formål var at have et fornuftigt sted at sove.

für den kleinen Geldbeute ohne Komfortanforderungen bestens geeignet. Zimmer war sauber.

Rapport prix prestation impeccable, le point fort pour nous est la situation de l'hôtel dans un quartier résidentiel calme et propre et à deux pas des commerces et d'une bouche de métro pour se rendre par exemple sur Times Square en 10 min chrono. Central Park est à 10 min a pied, super pour de jolies balades. Si vous vous perdez dans cet immense parc […] de 42 ha sachez que les lampadaires sont numérotés selon le même schéma que les rues de la ville, pratique quand on est perdu. Chose indispensable : être familiarisé avec l'anglais car là-bas le français ne sert à rien, bon point à ceux qui parle espagnol, c'est la deuxième langue de l'hôtel et trés parlée dans le pays. Hôtel très bien situé, métro à 2 Mn à pieds, et à 15 mn De time square , service hôtelier ne parle pas du tout le français et ne font pas beaucoup d effort... La chambre est bruyante car les fenêtres sont de simple vitrages, je conseille cet hôtel si vous êtes jeunes et que vous y serez que pour y dormir! ( logique pour un hôtel...) attention il demande […] une caution de 200$ ( qu ils vous rendent a la fin), et le wifi est payant forfait de 39$ la semaine! Achava que não era capaz escrever um review ruim sobre um hotel até conhecer esse. O quarto era mal conservado. O serviço de quarto não limpava completamente os banheiro e as vezes esquecia de colocar todas as toalhas. Não havia reposição de açucar e adoçante para a mini-cozinha. Mas a cereja do bolo era o atendimento da recepção. Exceto pelo Sr. […] Jonathan, os outros recepcionistas eram de uma má vontade extrema. Um só se prontificou a realmente verificar se minha encomenda da Amazon havia chegado depois que disse que constava como entregue no website. A mesma pessoa, mesmo após 3 tentativas com falha de abrir a porta, só se protificou a ajudar depois de ser suplicado. -------------------------------------------------- I used to think that I was unable to write a bad review about a hotel until meet this. The bedroom was poorly maintained. The room service didn't clean the bathroom completely and sometimes forgot to put all the towels. There was no replacement for sugar and sweetener for the mini-kitchen. But the icing on the cake was the reception. Except by Mr. Jonathan, all other receptionists didn't have good will. One of them only really tried to find my package from Amazon when I said that it was discribed as delivered on the website. Ausgezeichnetes Hotel! Ich würde jederzeit wieder buchen und es allen weiterempfehlen. Empfang / Reception sehr freundlich, Lage ist exzellent: Supermarkets 2 Minuten vom Hotel, direkt am Broadway und Central Park, ruhige Lage, sichere und sehr saubere Gegend! Ausserdem mit der Metro ca 5-10 Minuten von der City und allen Sightseeing/ und Shoppings […] entfernt. Die Sauberkeit/Reinigung der Zimmer dürfte besser sein: Im Bathroom oberhalb der Toilette hatte es an der Wand 2 Kontaktlinsen, die wahrscheinlich schon ewigs dort kleben....igitt! Lisätietoja

Det är ett enkelt hotell, men fullt tillräckligt med tanke på att i NY är man aldrig på rummet, bara när man sover och jag sov gott. Läget är helt perfekt med gångavstånd till mycket. Broadway ligger ett kvarter bort och Hudsonflodens promenadstråk finns på andra sidan om Riverside Park, som du bara går nedför gatan för att nå. Un bon rapport qualité prix. L'hôtel offre peu de service mais il est très bien situé et le personnel est aimable. La chambre est faite tous les jours correctement. L'ensemble est vétuste mais propre. Bien noter que les séjours sont de 7 jours minimum.

+ : Nice area, close to subway, close to Zabars for breakfast and coffee, close to central park and close to Museum of natural history. Hot water was available all the time. Tres bien situé, rue calme en dehors des grands axes, métro proche ainsi qu une épicerie. Les lits sont un peu mous, menage chaque jour. Accueil sympathique; Attention au fer à repasser qui est accroché à la porte( ma tete en a fait l experience....

Hôtel très bien situé à 5 min à pied du métro et de la ligne principale. Chambre correct et propre. A conseiller. Possibilité de faire le transfert de l'hôtel jusqu'à l'aéroport.

Buiten het toeristengebied is dit een uitstekende lokatie. Niet ver van Amsterdam Avenue met vele leuke (en betaalbare) restaurantjes. Op straat New Yorkers, geen toeristen. Rustig. Dat beviel zeer. Simpel hotel met fraaie hal en eenvoudige kamers. De gangen ruiken wel naar schoonmaakmiddel. Dat kan je positief of als minder ervaren. Hôtel très bien situé, à 2 pas du métro et il y a des commerces autour. Le plus : le frigo et le micro onde qui permettent le petit dèjeuner dans la chambre. Le moins : la moquette très vieille et tâchée. Sinon la chambre était propre. le ménage est fait tous les jours je n'ai pas été dèçu en arrivant, description exacte.

c'est la qualité 1ère de cet hôtel, il est à 2 minutes d'une ligne de métro qui dessert Times Square, wall street et harlem au nord et tout près d'un bus aussi hyper pratique. La chambre est propre sans dépasser les attentes, les draps et serviettes sont changés tous les jours mais ne sont pas de la dernière fraicheur. L'hôtel n'est pas sur une rue […] très passante donc pas particulièrement bruyant. Nous avions une chambre avec 2 lits double et salle de bain privée, pratique à 4. Hotellet lå ganske tæt på metro station og der var 7 minutter til 42 st Time Square, hvilket var godt. Og ca. 10 minutters gang fra Central Park. Service på hotellet afhang en del af hvem der var på arbejde, men generelt var den OK. De var meget hjælpsomme.

Ok que o preço do hotel não estava tão alto quanto os localizados próximo da Time Square, mas o que pagamos por 8 noites é, sim, um preço alto e merece um mínimo de conforto. Pedimos para trocar a cama de casal por duas de solteiro, não conseguiram. Pedimos pra nos colocar em um quarto melhor (o atual era no andar térreo e com muito barulho) e não conseguiram. […] A arrumadeira parecia que era de lua. tinha dias que ela arrumava nossa cama, dias que não. maioria das vezes só trocava a toalha. O Ar condicionado era barulhento, o aquecedor ficava a 1 palmo da cama (Super apertado) e eu batia com o joelho de manhã quase sempre, por acidente. O quarto era tão pequeno, mas tão pequeno que eu não conseguia abrir as 2 malas no chão dele, tinhamos que abrir sempre em cima da cama, um problema grande. Além de não ter internet grátis, o valor da internet é uma absurdo e quando resolvemos comprar pra falar com nossos pais vimos que o valor pago é somente para um dispositivo então já era. Nao dava para usar nos dois iPhones dos hóspedes. Não recomendo pra ninguém. melhor pagar um pouco a mais e ficar em um outro hotel. På billederne fra hotellets web kunne man ikke se hvor nusset og nedslidt værelset var. Vi fik et værelse lige overfor et affaldsrum og det lugtede slemt ude på gangen. Værelset var nusset og ikke lækkert. Vi talte med en pige, der boede fast i ejendommen. Hun fortalte, at det ikke var et rigtigt hotel. Jeg vil ikke anbefale dette hotel.

Okay hotel. Rent. Tæt på Metro. Fin rengøring. Varmt vand. Kan anbefales.
