Hotel is in descent location. Was not very pleased with hotel staff, they did not like giving out supplies or cleaning room.

There was no parking in front of our building. 3 of the 5 lights didn't work. There were 0 towels in the room. It was a smoking room and while I understand smoking rooms may have a smoke Odor, the room was very stuffy and had a very bad smell. Also there were hairs in the shower as if it had not been cleaned.

I was overcharged, hotels.com did not send over all my request to the hotel. bathroom light did not work, not all rooms had an microwave or iron. The pictures online is not accurate especially with the continental breakfast and space. Pool was not opened as stated that was a big reason for staying there with the kids.

Not too bad for the price. Kinda run down, but all we did was sleep there. Was clean tho... And the pool was DEFINATLY NOT the one shown in the pictures!!

This was the third time I stayed at this Super 8. The rooms have both a refrigerator and a microwave. The breakfast seemed a little skimpy cpmpared to April 2009. I like the location off of 441 which is very busy and noisy. It is easy to walk from here to most restaurants and shops.

Pros: Friendly staff who quickly changed me to another room when I showed her the BUGS I found all over the room, including the bed. The breakfast includes hot waffles. Cons: Small bugs about the size of ticks. About 20 on the window ledge, 5 or 6 in the bed and three crawling on the wall between the matress and headboard. The room we stayed in was so awful. There was what looked like a mouse hole in the wall in the bathroom. Someone had stuffed it full of toilet paper. The water in the shower hardly trickled out of the shower head and was freezing cold. The shower head was so low that I had to kneel down while standing as close to the wall with the shower head as possible […] to try to get under the water. Picture of the room looks very nice, but it was so small no where to set, has a couch but thats where the suit case had to go, has a table & 2 chairs but no room to set because of the bed. Sheets would not stay on at all. Needs Pillows!!! Shower and whirlpool tub is together no water pressure, tub was to be a big nice one but it was old and never used […] it,was really slick and very hard to get in and out of. Dark and depressing. The room was very dirty. My son was bit by a bedbug and all sheets and blankets were stained by who knows what. The refrigerator promised was smaller than a lunchbox cooler. Mold and mildew was everywhere in the bathroom. We were not able to change locations and paid for this room for 3 nights as well as another just to leave.

this hotel was clean but needs some remodeling. the breakfast it included was not good the coffee tasted like water and they ran out of stuff everyday there should be enough for all who stay there. overall it was ok but could definitely make some changes

we have stay at this Super 8 before and were very pleased...this time.... the hotel staff can make or break a stay, this time they were close to breaking it..we requested 2 ground level rooms and got one( wife has bad foot in brace) other couple had been on the road for 2 weeks (we are all on motorcycles) they got 2nd floor..anyway we ask to park our […] GoldWings in front of our room and were told no to close to fire lane..ok parked bikes down toward the end of parking lot.(no biggie) until the 3 couples across from us park there Harleys in the fire line,front desk clerk says nothing to them..we went to dinner and moonshine tasting , came back and the night clerk is parked in front of our room in the fire lane so you see where this is going..anyway the hotel is still pretty nice but is on the way down hill, gonna start looking for a new place to stay in Gatlinburg...thanks to the lazy staff and the morning clerk who was to busy on his laptop to tell me why we had coffee in the room but no coffee maker...the little things become big ones when you become complacent ... The king room that we reserved showed a picture of a great room with hardwood floors and when we arrived, it was a gross old hotel room. We had to be moved to another room because the room smelled moldy. The second room had a fist-punched hole in the wall of the bathroom, the additional security lock and chain was hanging from the door and looked as […] if it had been kicked in because the other part of the lock was hanging with it, and the lamp looked like someone had busted a hole in it. The hotel staff was not helpful and refused to even try to make anything any better, even after showing the picture that was listed with the reservation of the king room. There was 1 single room in the entire facility that looked this way. The location was very convenient to all of the downtown Gatlinburg attractions but I would recommend paying the extra $10-15 for a nicer hotel! Lisätietoja

Room per pictures had hardwood floors for the King Suites, come to find out they only have 1 room with actual hardwood floor. Bed coverlet had blood stains on it. We booked the room with a little apprehension. We have not had good luck with Super 8 in the past. I should have trusted my instincts !! We requested a pull out couch in our reservation but the first room we were taken to was so small it was not able to fit a couch. There were holes in the wall and a hole in the tub? The second room we looked at was […] larger but some electrical outlets were hanging out of the wall exposing the wires. There were also wires hanging out of two holes in the reception/breakfast area. The last room we looked at was large enough and didn't have holes or exposed wires but the bathroom was problematic. The toilet was not made for adults; especially men. There evidently had been so much water in the floor that the bottom of the two walls had been eaten away. There was trim coming off the wall and paint that had been torn off the walls. When we decided to take the third room we were charged another $50 for it. This was our first time in Gatlinburg in 20 years, if we weren't afraid we couldn't get another room or our money back we would have never stayed. WE WON'T STAY HERE AGAIN !! Lisätietoja

I guess you get what you pay for, because we found this hotel to be affordable, and only a few blocks off of the main street. However, we were forced to mistrust the cleanliness of the room because the fold out couch still had sheets on the mattress complete with the last user's food crumbs folded inside, and the kids refused to use the tub or shower […] because there was a spider and a cricket, and the bathroom was in desperate need of either regrouting or lots and lots of BLEACH!! The location is very convenient. The hotel room is small , AC is noisy and breakfast is not good.

In planning a cheap family vacation, I did not want to spend a lot of money on a hotel room when I could spend it on attractions. I was a little scared of how the room would look with the great rate we received. I must admit I was impressed with the room quality for what we paid for. Yes, it does need a little updating and a few minor repairs, however […] it was CLEAN. The same with the pool, it was CLEAN too. The continental breakfast was less than desirable, however it was decent enough to get us through the morning. The location is not bad also. You have to walk down a hill several blocks to get to the main strip, however their is a trolly stop right outside of the hotel. I highly recommend using the trolleys as it does get tiring to go up and down the hill all the time. We have stayed on the main strip before and it can be loud and hard to get sleep. The hotel is very outdated, bathrooms were pretty gross. Location of the hotel was good as it was just off of the main shopping strip. Booked the room for occupancy of 5 people but only had 2 full size beds and was charged extra to upgrade to having 2 full beds and a pullout couch which the mattress was very thin and falling thru the springs. We stayed in this Super 8 July 5-9 2011. The room was clean, but the beds were very uncomfortable. The bathroom was moldy, actually had mold growing all around the floor about 2 inches up each wall. When we arrived, the room had a strong funky smell, I assume cleaning solution, but very strong. It gave my kids headaches. The rooms need to be updated and the beds are not the softest, but it was close to all the sites and the staff was very friendly. Overall if you are just needing a room to sleep in and not spend the day in, I would recommend this hotel. I would stay here again.

OK, I have stayed in plenty of hotels/motels all across the US. I am not really picky; all I need is a clean bathroom, a decent bed, and working door locks. - Our bathroom was as clean as possible considering the much-needed repairs. - Towels and bed linens looked and felt clean. - Door locks worked, and neighborhood was decent - Most uncomfortable […] beds I have ever come across Upon first glance, the beds looked lumpy, but once you sit or lay on them you realize it is wires sticking up everywhere. Extremely uncomfortable to the point of being painful. We asked for another room and were told they were booked and it wasn't possible. First night we slept on the floor with the sheets and blankets and that was actually a little better. Literally had to go out and buy an air matress and slept on the floor for the remainder of the week. Not enjoyable! Hotel was very close to where I needed to be and had very quick check-in\check-out. Downside was my room #126 was infested with roaches. Found baby roaches on the nightstand when I first turned on the light upon entering the room. This hotel was right off the strip within walking distance to everything. The staff was friendly & accommodating. We had to ask for a different room due to the fact that our room had windows above the door didn't have curtains. Our 18 month old would sleep without the hotel being completely dark. This Super 8 is in bad need of renovation. The room we had was pretty clean, but the room itself was falling apart. The electric outlets were coming out of the wall and the tub looks like its been there since 1940 and not well kept up. Not too far of a walk to the main drag. Room was clean other then havin no bath towels but that was fix rather quick. I was happy with my stay at this hotel.

When we arrived it was after being in the sun in 90 degree weather all day only to find it was about 95 degrees in our room, the air had not been turned on. Then after seeing that there were 2 full beds in our room instead of the king we reserved we called the front desk. The lady working was very nice and curtious. condition of room good. Looked clean smelled awful!

The hotel location was great for walking to Convention center. Room was comfortable but bathroom left a lot to be desired. Needs major updating. TV had terrible color. All in all it was ok for price we paid. Will look around for better one next year. Staff was very friendly.

The hotel was very nice for what we paid. It was within walking distance to Downtown Gatlinburg, and had very nice and helpful staff. The room was very clean, but you can tell that the Hotel is old. The beds are firm but comfortable. The plaster was damaged and the wall, and the lock on the door that connects to the adjoining room was fragile, and had […] a simple slide lock. The main door had the standard Hotel card lock, but the privacy lock was a door chain, that you can tell was torn out, but replaced. Overall the best inexpensive hotel that we have stayed. I thought this hotel was great, the staff was friendly, The rooms were clean, just had minor flaws, nothing major, just typical wear and tear. I will stay there on my next trip there.

We just stayed there for the weekend. The hotel overall was fine. To get here (first timer) you need a GPS, directions from MapQuest were completly screwed. Once you get to the place is awsome!

Very nice room, for the price we paid I was very pleased.

My majaor complaint was the free wi-fi. They SERIOUSLY need to up-grade thier system. It is SLOW & some things wouldn't come thru @ all. Also, they have no outdoor ashtrays. As a smoker, it was inconvient for me. And we won't even mention what it does for the NON-smoker. The room seamed clean to look @ it, but they cleaned BEHIND NOTHING!
