The Grand Hyatt DFW is located within the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport in Dallas, Texas. Adjacent to the hotel is the Bear Creek Golf Club. The Grapevine Mills outlet mall and Lake Grapevine are less than six miles from the property. The hotel offers complimentary airport transportation via the SkyLink train. Shuttle service to nearby destinations is offered for a fee.
Hotel Features.
The Grand Met specializes in Mediterranean and Pacific Rims cuisine, such as Paella a la Valenciana and Baked Halibut in Banana Leaf. The hotel's Epicurean Studio offers guests an interactive view of a true culinary operation from the center of the Grand Met kitchen. The hotel houses a lounge and a coffee bar.
A staffed business center offers wired and wireless Internet access for a fee and 34,000 square feet of meeting space is located on the property. The rooftop health club includes a heated outdoor pool, locker rooms with steam areas and two massage treatment rooms. The fitness center offers personal flat-screen televisions and cardiovascular and strength-training equipment.
Guestrooms.
Guestrooms at the Grand Hyatt DFW feature contemporary décor and beds with pillowtop mattresses. A bedside touchscreen panel controls the room's window shades, temperature and lighting. Bathrooms include separate showers and soaking tubs. Room also come equipped with granite-topped desks, in-room safes, and minibars. Wired and wireless Internet access is available (surcharge), and 32-inch flat screen televisions offer premium cable channels. Complimentary newspapers are delivered to the rooms each morning.

Grand Met - Global cuisine with emphasis on the Mediterranean and the Pacific Rim. Exhibition kitchen with sushi chef. Dining area overlooking the terminal includes counter service with flat-screen TVs. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
M Lounge - Open midday through nighttime. Located between the lobby and Grand Met restaurant. Martini and satay menu. Full bar.
MOKA - Open 24 hours. Adjacent to reception area, with lobby seating available. Illy premium Italian coffee drinks, premium bottled water, sandwiches, and baked goods. Travel sundries and souvenirs.
A heated outdoor splash pool with showers is located at the top of the hotel. Guests at the Grand Hyatt DFW also have 24-hour, card-key access to a fitness room containing treadmills, elliptical machines, and stationery bicycles, all with personal flat-screen TVs with headphones. A weight room includes circuit machines, free weights, and a high-definition TV. Locker rooms have steam rooms and complimentary use of locks. Complimentary bottled water and towels are also provided.
Massage and body treatments may be scheduled Monday-Friday (hours vary) in treatment rooms located on the 9th-floor fitness level. Swedish relaxation, hot stone, deep tissue and reflexology foot massages are available as well as mud wraps. (Surcharges apply).
Bear Creek Golf Club, adjacent to the airport, has two 18-hole golf courses, a putting green, and a driving range. Lake Grapevine, 5.5 miles away, offers fishing, boating, waterskiing, biking, and hiking.

"Airport convenience"
Hotels.com told me I had 7 nights free parking, but the hotel said only one day parking per one night's stay. Also to get coffee, the attendant required a voucher for each person -- a little chintzy for a first class hotel. Otherwise, everything was good.

"Staff is excellent"
Love this hotel. That staff goes above and beyond. Surprisingly happening scene in the lounge in the evening.

Beautiful hotel conveniently located within the airport. The amenities are amazing beginning from the rooms, to the restaurant and the rooftop heated pool. The hotel is seconds away from concourse D security check-point and it's extremely easy to travel on an overnight stay while you're traveling. I knew that this would be a good fit for the type of trip I was taking -- a quick pop-in to DFW to meet up with some folks and then a quick flight back. Being on the Airport grounds makes for a very inviting stay, as you spend virtually no time between de-planing and relaxing at your hotel room. Services include a full restaurant (did not use), M Lounge (full service bar and food available from restaurant in lounge area, and Moka bar (good for AM coffee). One thing to note is that you will need to drive someplace for entertainment/shopping. While DFW has a fair amount of shopping and things to do once behind security, it's pretty sparse on the non-secured portion of the airport which is where the hotel is (obviously). recently I had to overnight in Dallas. I had another reservation at another hotel. But when I realized how large the Dallas airport was and that the Grand Hyatt was directly connected to the airport, I changed the reservation. this is a very nice hotel, and highly sound proofed - I never heard any planes! Definitely worth it!

Excellent stay. Khanf Ha (front office agent) was very professional and attentive with all of our special requests. Dining was superb albeit pricey...atleast we got what we paid for!

If you have an overnight stay in DFW, this is the place to stay. We had an overnight connection through DFW and so spent the extra to stay in the airport. What a good choice - the hotel is on the tram stop, and the rooms are spacious and well appointed, nicely decorated with smooth high quality bedding. If you like good coffee in the AM, call the night […] before for a coffee maker. They bring you one of those pressurized single serve coffee makers with several servings to choose from. The staff at the Grand Hyatt DFW are always accommodating and helpful. They make flying a much better experience by enabling us to relax, eat great food and have a wonderful night's sleep before an early morning flight.

This hotel is just perfect for transfers at DFW. It's located in Terminal D and I was joining a Qantas flight to Sydney. I was able to have an excellent rest at this hotel in between flights. The room was wonderful. The only thing which irked me was that you have to pay for the internet.

My family spent the night in Dallas to connect to another flight the next day. We arrived in the "D" concourse and it could not of been easier to arrive at the hotel. "Convenience, plus."
Our flight home to Arizona required an overnight stay in Dallas due to the late hour. This hotel is in the airport. We never had to leave the airport property. Catching our morning flight only required a walk through security and a ride on the SkyTrain.
We has a very wonderful time - the view was lovely - we loved watching the takoffs and landings. We heard very little noise.

"Convenient and Classy"
Was quite pleased with our stay at the Grand Hyatt DFW. Less than 10 minutes from our departure gate. Treat yourself and stay in elegant comfort. Well worth the money !!
"Great hotel, weird shower, disappointing menu"
This is such a convenient place to stay at DFW. The shower stall is strange. You cannot avoid splashing the floor even when no one is in it and you just want to turn on the water. Poor design there. The dinner menu had loads and load of MEAT, which is fine if that is your thing. The shrimp tempura arrived without the typical delicious dipping sauce, […] and instead was covered in some weird squiggle of mayo-based something. Asked for a tempura dipping sauce and received a sauce of some type but not was should have gone with it. The only veggie option was butternut squash soup, which until my stay at the Grand Hyatt I had never thought could be ruined. It had some weird Middle Eastern spice thing going on. Truly AWFUL. Looked like clover leafs were randomly tossed in for what I do not know. Two people had it, each hated it. Both of us love all kinds of food. Change your soup recipe! "Grand Hyatt DFW"
This is an excellent hotel, and in the middle of the DFW Airport. For being in the middle, between 6 runways, there is virtually no noise whatsoever. The view of aircraft coming and going is an added bonus. The rooms are spacious and very well appointed with large bathrooms, with separate bath and shower, in the same room, which is different. The bathroom […] is large enough for my wife to do her hair while I was shaving, and we were not cramped at all, or bumping into each other, another bonus. All-in-all, this is an excellent facility, and we will most certainly stay here again. The convenience of stepping out of your room and right into the airport, and not having to worry about traffic jams or parking issues, is a real plus. Location, location, location... Staff are very professional and helpful in assisting you to your correct terminal as DFW has 5 terminals/satellites depending on airline. Due to flight schedule had to layover in DFW. Very convenient access to the airport, both checking in and out. AA flight monitors in the lobby, great views of the airport area. Hotel staff extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. Either DFW shut down for the night or the rooms were very reasonably soundproofed!
"Additional fees."
Here's what I hated about the hotel: why do better hotels charge for Internet service when motels offer it free? This bothers me and I don't understand it. Is their Internet better than the ones at the motel chains?

This was my first time to stay at the Grand Hyatt Hotel. Front desk was exceptionally friendly....best service EVER!!!! Mustafo at the check in outside was extremely friendly and helpful. "great.. but beware if you are f;ying continental`"
Hotel was fantastic. However, the next morning for an early flight, my 10-mo old and I went down to the security line at the base of the hyatt and were unable to check in! Most other airlines you could enter the terminal there, but we had to catch a terminal bus and it took an extra 30 min to do all the run around--it was basically like staying off […] site. We got there in time for flight but i was aniticapating having an hour pre-flight to organize/play with baby and they were pretty much ready to preboard when we got to continental terminal. plan your AM flights carefully--it may not be as conveniently located as you would expect! "Great layover"
We stayed one night to catch a flight the next day. The restaurant has excellant food. We even had time in the morning to workout and shower before our afternoon flight. Then we just took the elevator to the terminal level to check in. Very convenient.

"Outstanding Hotel"
We live three and a half hours from DFW Airport and have stayed at this hotel 3 times in the past 3 years. The rooms are fabulous for the price, and you do not hear the noise from the planes. The hotel is extremely convenient for a morning flight or an arrival into DFW late in the evening.Everyone is courteous and very helpful.

My daughter and I stayed at the Grand Hyatt for a couple of days. What I liked most about the hotel was the bathroom. It was very modern and sleek with a wonderful shower. The hotel service was awesome. The view of the airplanes taking off was also nice. You couldn't really hear the outside noise unless you listened really closely. So the noise factor […] was no problem. The only drawback was finding parking during the day.
