The stay was good until i found out i was drying myself with DIRTY TOWELS, i advise front desk about it and then again, MORE DIRTY TOWELS IN MY ROOM........for an hour stop, it might be a choice but for a night, h**** no

The room had hair in the sink and tubs before I used room. The breakfast is factory produced sweet rolls individually wrapped. The coffee was one pot with poweder creamer. The people staying there were normal with a few young groups who seem to live there year round. There was garbage scattered in the parking lot. The view was of a electrical swithching […] station with a lot of high voltage lines running everywhere. The bed was comfortable. The lights were mostly cfl which gave the room an office feel. We stayed at this location several ties over the previous years. It was clean and well run. Apparently there has been a change of ownership. The result is we were placed in a smoking room instead of a non-smoking room as requested. Because it was a smoking room, there were cigarette burns throughout the room including the linen and furniture. The walls […] had smoke residue and were only cleaned in arches (I.E. only where housekeeping could reach) Room amenities were missing, No Soap, No Shampoo, 1 towel and 1 washrag for 2 people. I am a consistent traveler especially around the U.S. So i am very familiar with hotel expectation. Also this is the first time i have ever sent a complaint about a good or service but I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience. I reserved two rooms for our party. The issues I have with my stay is coming from the two separate rooms which gives us […] a greater depth of understanding on the quality of service your company offers. -The bed was broken when i slept on the bed it tilted towards the middle - The toilet was not properly bolted to the floor. I could have easily knock the toilet over to the floor (Major safety issue) - Mold in the restroom major molding around the tub which is very unhealthy -Inadequate lig hting some of the lights did not work - no shower curtain water fell to the floor i could have easily slipped and fell - Our party had children and the worker did not have the bed sizes we ordered for non-smokers. I refused to have children sleep in a room filled with cigarette smoke. - Some one had been smoking in the other room we were given (This room was clearly marked non-smoking). - The employee at the front desk had two friends hanging out at the front counter. The employee was not wearing proper identification i.e. a uniform or badge. The employee was in workout clothes. The employee was on his phone. the employee left the front desk and was in another room with his friends. The employee(s) seem to use some of the rooms for personal use. (incredibly unprofessional) - As our party woke up for the as advertised continental breakfast the employee informed me that the "boss" would not arrive until 12pm so there will be no breakfast until then. He pointed to a table which had a empty coffee maker. - no toilet paper - no tissue paper - walls and towels were dirty. i had to buy sheet covers and towels. - parking lot was filled with trash As a result of me purchasing the rooms and spending money out of my pocket on basic essentials that are expected from Lisätietoja

I have previously stayed many times at this value inn and was always satisfied. However, my last experience was not so satisfactory. I had very specifically requested a nonsmoking ground floor room with two beds, when I arrived I was informed that those rooms are rented to long term renters and nothing matching was available-new managers are not very […] accomodating! I was shocked to discover that this motel is a smoking hotel. So every room smells like old cigarette smoke. It really is disgusting. The front staff solved my problem of a room that smelled like smoke by moving me into another room that also smelled like smoke. This motel is really quite dirty, with non working electrical switches, and a parking lot […] full of dirty cigarette butts, as well as unclean towels in the bathroom. Do NOT book this hotel unless you have no sense of smell, don't mind being surrounded in filth, and don't mind a parking lot full of teenagers partying well into the early morning. Lisätietoja

I stayed here for one night in October 2012 and had a great night. I was a single woman traveling alone so I'm always aware of my surroundings. The other guests at this hotel that night seemed to be families and a few guys who got together to watch football games. I didn't see any drug dealers or "shady characters" as other reviews have suggested. The […] room was very cleaned and actually smelled wonderful. The bathroom floor and shower were a little in need of a good bleaching, but otherwise everything was clean. My biggest complaint was the guest who insisted on going outside of his room to smoke and talk on his cell phone at 2AM, 4AM, and 6AM. Word of advice- don't do this! got a a non-smoking room that smelled of smoke, drug deals outside the door, there was blood on pillow case and sheet it was absolutley disgusting. And we are not very picky people.

This place is filthy and had a million roaches. Plain ol nasty.

Even if you smoke.....rent a non-smoking room. The smoking rooms are horrible. So bad it wakes you up at night to the taste of nicotine. I'm a smoker and it is worth it to smoke outside of the room instead of the misery of a smoking allowed

On our way between SF and Sacramento, Martinez was a good location for an overnight stop, and the motel is well located. Straight forward motel location and quality.

All went well during my 5 day stay @ this Americas Best Value Inn. Seems to be a good value especially compared to near by locations @ twice the price. One negative was that the shower/tub drained very slowly.

The bedroom was clean enough and it was quiet. I never was able to connect with the free internet. The bathroom floor needed mopping and the outside of the toilet bowl was quite dirty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time.

as i walked around barefoot my feet became black with grease. some biker must have overhauld his bike inside the room. mold in bathroom didnt help either.lots of flys every time i opened the door.

Well, I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised by the room. I have stayed at another ABV Inn (in Stockton, Ca) it was a total dump and the service was TERRIBLE. But since it was for only a few nights and because the reviews were pretty good I went ahead and booked a room at this location. Also, you couldn't beat the price for a holiday weekend rate. […] But, here the beds were quite comfortable, the room was clean and the microwave and fridge were clean and ready to to be used. My only complaint was that the free wireless internet service was not working that weekend due to no-low connectivity and the front desk staff did not have any solution to this matter. So I had to work at a cafe instead of from the comfort of the nice bed the hotel provided. Also, it was pretty quiet most of my staff until Tuesday morning (thankfully it was my checkout day )when it sounded as if I were in the middle of the hood somewhere from the loud people and activity that was heard outside of my door. Staff was very courteous and helpful, TV wasn't working, they gave us a different room, next time im staying in Martinez, gonna stay there.

Although the room condition overall was ok, there were certain cleanliness issues that bothered me.

Bathroom towels thin and see thru Shower handle was so coroded I was afraid to touch Showaer water pressure was way low if you wanted ant type of hot water

At first I was kind of annoyed because my g/f got really sick the night before and the manager wouldn't cancel my reservation without charging me full price. We ended up going anyway and she felt better so it worked out. No complaints about the room except the fridge wasn't plugged in so we had to wait for a while before we had a working fridge and […] in the middle of the night the smoke alarm started beeping and wouldn't stop. Called the manager and he was sleeping, couldn't understand him at all. Threw it down into the parking lot...took care of that. Oh and there were some people that it seemed lived there who hung out outside during the day. I wouldn't recommend letting your kids / g/f / wife walk around by themselves but that's at any lower end hotel I guess. Room was clean and a good deal for the money. Free wireless internet was nice to have. Would stay here again if in the area. Lisätietoja

The hotel was fine with lots of places to eat within walking distance. Area had homeless and possible gang members in the area. Felt safe at hotel but not outside of hotel at night time.

Nothing fancy, but all the necessities (clean sheets and towels, fast internet connection) are there. Very nice staff.
