Holiday Inn Express Gastonia - Gastonia

Everything was good except you can hear loud tv from next door neighbors and people talking in the hallway. Basically, thin walls. Also, there's only 2 treadmills & a bike in the fitness area(small). Besides that, it was ok.

We arrived in Gastonia, NC for a funeral with a large group. The staff gave us all the comfort we needed. The location was great and the breakfast was very good. I would like to thank all the staff for everything. Please continue to provide great customer care for ALL your future guest.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and clean. The pool was warm. The breakfast was very good with lots of hot food choices.

Hotel had a very small and tight parking area. We stayed two nights and our room was not serviced during our stay.

This hotel is has many things going for it: The service, the breakfast buffet, clean rooms with bright white linens. Unfortunately, the beds were as hard as the floor. I would love to stay there again, but unless the beds are different, I won't be able to.

I recently stayed at the inn to visit family. I arrived there in the middle of the night tired and looking forward to a shower. The bathtub had water in it and a dirty washcloth. I ignored it and took a shower. I set a wake-up time for the morning and I never received a call. The next morning I went to the free breakfast only to find a lack of food. […] Already cranky, I decided to complain about my previos bathroom inconveniences to the front desk. She gave me an attitude of "Ok? Your point? What do you want me to do?" without actually saying it. I let it go and left. Later that day I returned only to find that the dirty washcloth was still there. I ignored it once again. I took a bath and as I attempted to empty the tub, I realized the sopper was broken. Very nice hotel. Friendly and professional service and staff. Only issue was we were in a hurry to leave and left some clothes in the room. Called back later that day and the cleaning staff hadn't turned anything in. Just so happens it was one of my sons favorite Under Armour shirts that he had bought with his own $40.00. He was a little upset, but […] he learned he had better make sure he had everything before he leaves in the future. The hotel was great--the staff pleasant and the room was very clean and comfortable. However, the "free breakfast" was not great. The eggs were watery, the cereal stale and the bacon was not cooked. I would stay there again but I would plane to eat breakfast elsewhere.

We were very pleased with our recent stay. The room was clean and updated. The staff was very friendly and accomidateing. We would recommend this hotel to family and friends. FYI - no dvd player in rooms.

Was a great property Nice employees and staff Clean and quiet

hotel decorated with local cotton economy history pieces and informative plaques, better than average breakfast, hallway on our floor smelled of animals (litter box smell??) but room smelled ok.

Great rates - hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The indoor pool was a nice extra! Room was nice - not cheap looking - spacious and larger than rooms we've had in other hotels of the like.

IT was great the people were frindly and helpful very clean and the water presure was great. all was clean the breakfst was good could get coffe any time soft drinks wae easy acs. i would stay again Diane

Very clean and everyone was pleasant.

Very clean and nice room. Terrific bed. Staff was very friendly. Even baked cookies and put them out for guests to eat. Would definitely stay again!
