The facility was overall quite nice. The Red Wing area is beautiful, with unique river bluffs worth seeing. The room was a suite with a completely separate bedroom, living room. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Very near other shopping. Convenient to downtown Stillwater. Would stay there again.

Room was very comfortable and clean. Nice breakfast. We wojld stay again for sure.

This hotel doesn't have a lot of frills, such as pool or exercise room, but most of the time we don't use them anyway. The staff were routinely helpful and pleasant and the room was clean. We plan to stay there again when visiting Red Wing.

Room would have been perfect if it had another mirror. The only mirror in our room was in the bathroom and that makes it difficult for two people to get dressed and out at the same time.

The employees were great, breakfast was delicious, building looks awesome, conveniently located right at the HWY 63! Loved this place and the trip went well.

We stayed here for our anniversary. The bed was really comfy and the hotel was close to the antique stores - a big plus for me! It wasn't as close to downtown as I'd hoped, but it was still only a 5 minute drive.

the rooms were super clean and super quiet. Altho' the motel is near a busy highway, we heard no noise from there. Also, no noise from room above or next door. Enjoyed our stay. friendly staff.

If you are using GPS to search the location then you will have big trouble to finding it. I been following GPS and just can't find the hotel. You may want to call the hotel to get more detail location before you take off. Every thing else is good except hard to find the place.

Great experience at NIchols Inn, conveniently location, close to downtown Red Wing. Very nice, clean, and affordable, great weekend!

Room was nicer than expected- didnt expect a full kitchen in the King Suite. Furniture was set up kind of wierd, but bed was comfy. Would definitely stay there again.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Nichols Inn in Red Wing. Even though it seemed to be very full it was quiet in our room. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very nice and enjoyable. All around very nice.

Our room was clean and cool, but the water was not hot in the tub/shower. We asked to have it looked at and were informed it was fine and there had been no other complaints about it. We asked for a new room on the second night and it was a bit better. Also, the volume control on the TV was limited in the upper range...I suppose for noise control. The air conditioning didn't work right in our room! We set it as cold as it would go, but it would barely run and it was hot and humid! Otherwise the room was nice and the location was great!
